Would be nice if PSA can formally put something out on this on their main channels. Unfortunately it's a double edged sword showing the case differences as it helps the next iteration of cases made by scammers but it needs to be out there.

So he's basically sending PSA10 worthy card to grading. Then cracking the case open, then getting another card and putting the legit label and card (in worse condition) in fake case and closing it up. Then he send the same card which got PSA10 to PSA again, get PSA10 and do it again? This sound like super time consuming activity... It must've taken him YEARS to do it at mass scale. And there's no guarantee that the same card will get PSA10 over and over again because there're always different graders. If he's living in China that means grading in PSA is not as fast as he'd lived in US.

-Collectibles_Guru
Its pretty hard to track down these fake grading cards coz they know the code for each card and their ability to imitate the packaging of psa. I should be cautious on whoever selling these psa grades.

Hey Rattle quick question ❓ I don't know if you've done it in the past. Could you do maybe a new update video on like what to look for fake cards on eBay I've been trying to report every single one that I find but there's a lot of these fake shiny Charizard v from champions path. I report every single one I see you when I'm on there, and most of them go or it's not fake I got it from GameStop.. when I tell them that lies you can just tell but I like the Halo graphic and then also there's no texturing on the face or anything on it so yeah that'd be awesome! there were about 10 different official versions of the PSA grading. It is incorrect to say that counterfeit PSA logos don't have space between the S and the A. older slabs have different style PSA logos at the bottom right including without any space between the S and A. Slabs and labels have changed over the years.

quick question: wouldnt looking at the PSA number ID within the psa database beat the counterfit scammer?
@@nixvaldez it depends on if that serial number has been reported to PSA as “stolen” or misused. Plus so many might not even look it up until after they suspect it as counterfeit, especially if the case and label look legit.
@dez Well, they can have the real card graded and get the psa number then, produce multiple fakes with the same psa number.

At this point, the jump for Pokemon cards just opened the door to scams. Maybe because we have the internet now, but it was never this bad. Almost every single day it's a story.
I gotta nice jewelers loop with UV light and normal lighting on it. So nice to see corners of cards before sending for grading

Psa set registry helps too. I always register my slabs
There are some old UA-cam videos from years back explaining how to spot a fake PSA slab, and the majority of the tale tale signs were the labels were incorrect. I said it back then what’s preventing someone from cracking and reusing real labels to create fake PSA slabs while resending the cards back into PSA for more real labels? With all the effort that went into the labels, it’s shocking that PSA has not considered scammers might actually use their real labels instead of creating fake ones. They need to make their labels one piece with the slab. There should be no way to remove a card from a slab without damaging the slab, and there should be no way of removing a label from a slab without damage to the label.

This is intense.... because I am pretty sure, just about everyone (including me) will see a slab that looks legit at first glance, and then only worry about securing the card before someone else does. You should visit a card show and investigate for any fakes, I feel like there is always one person who gets a little too courageous and tries to sell fake pokemon.

He's known in the KAWS Community as a fraud. Don't do business with him.
He really does have 1000% KAWS Bearbricks, Bronze KAWS, Prints, and limited stuff. But he gets them by not paying for years or just fully scamming. Guy is weird.

The whole card market is going to crash. I was kind of expecting this to happen already. Card prices are so high that it is just a matter of time when the big boys will start to make their products and when that happens, trust me, noone will be able to tell the difference between a fake card and a real one. DO NOT INVEST IN POKEMON CARDS THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE WORTH MORE THAN 10 BUCKS IN VALUE!! PSA has to upgrade their tecnologies to chips and blockchains or Pokemon collectors are doomed.

I don't get it why people buy slabs without the knowledge of how to spot a fake slab. When dealing in raw cards people are better at spotting fakes.

Oh God, I just got back in to pokemon, and just bought a Munch Eevee but luckily it's a 9. I checked the images that were sent and seems OK but would always like a second opinion if you have some time. It's on the way now
PSA slabs have changed over time so it’s not set in stone how to distinguish a fake. I had a new cert starting with a 7 have those inserts fresh from PSA. Best way to confirm a card is to look up the cert on PSA when buying.
Yo clarify the slots on the top. They are not as prevelant as the fakes but there are slots on the top. The sides don’t have those large slots tho that the fake have.

That wouldn't be hard if you had purched cards in bulk or 10s in bulk and just kept sending the same 20 cards in over and over

that little nub under the slab is on the outside of my case but also a white nub a little on the inside on almost the same place but slightly under it is this normal?

Those slots don’t mean they’re unauthentic. There have been numerous variations of the slab and I have freshly graded card from PSA that have those slots on the top.
