I’m a newbie, & have been watching cane-making & other pc videos w/my jaw dragging on the ground! I keep coming back to your videos because I really like your style of teaching. I appreciate your calm soothing voice, knowledgeable instruction & wonderful creativity that is very obvious in your beautiful canes! I need to get organized, & start with your beginner videos, then work my way up. Really looking forward to it, Theresa! 😊
Going grey feels odd but not worrying about your roots is liberating. You have very young looking hands btw! I am so impressed with the black and white, I really want to try it. I don't think I'm good at this type of caning but the Easy Cuffs make such a neat canvas for trying cane out... I must give it a go.
You have such a calming manner while you teach! Thanks for this, it's a lovely cane. And, I can attest to the quality and usefulness of your tools. I own a number of them and plan on buying more!
Love your tutorials! I let myself go grey a few years ago (65 here) and I love it. It looks like it's frosted. Quite a few different colors. I also love your calmness.
I can empathize with your experience in cutting your hair. I loved the pic of you with the tequila!! My hair is silver white now, and I'm the same age. I feel the best is yet to come! I love your videos... thanks for everything from New Hampshire!!
This cane is beautiful and used for bracelets are just awesome. I know I would have to play this video step by step. You look very good your age and the gray in the hair I think we all (me 64)go through that. I have Loc's and I love the salt and pepper look which is slowly coming in. Thanks for a great project for the new year and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 😏😏😏😏
Just Cut all mine off in a pixie you look super young I'm 57 I hope we love our silver crowns If not we can dye it again lol keep claying your my inspiration
Being 57 years of age in January 2015 I had a brain tumor removed but prior to that my hair was mahogany in color but before the surgery my hair was shaved off. I let some of my friends from High School know and I got told ... Your hair is a toy so play with it! So I went blonde ... the tumor was benign but I do have to retrain my hands to be able to make stuff again.
You don't look close to 63 at all. But, I did the going gray thing the same way. Stopped fully coloring and just did highlights. It's such a relief to not have to think about coloring and roots. You might be surprised, as I was, that a lot of my original dark color is still there with some nice silvery streaks. Good luck!
I really love this cane but I got lost right after you cut the black and white pieces in the beginning into a square then you said your laying it in the same direction then started the fan fold BUT it was a different shape and it didn’t show how you got that thinner strip from the pieces you started with … it was about 2:50 into the video , I just really wanted to make this so bad. Maybe you have other cane videos that will show the process and you assumed we watched them,,,,, so I will go watch more
Huge fan of your work! No way I would have guessed 63. You look fantastic!
John Hutchinson thank you😄I’ll soon be 65.
