    Brilliant. Ive only just started watching your channel so Idk what all you have going, but I sincerely enjoy watching you decorate your pages. I have A LOT of papers, ephemera, stickers, embellishments and etc., seems like Ive been waiting for ideas (like you are displaying) to use them. So even if you aren’t introducing a new idea, just decorating things you already have made is plenty interesting IMO. Thanks for sharing your talent.

    Love your binding technique. It is the very first time I've seen that and I think it's easy enough with your instructions that I might be able to do that. Thank you so much for sharing. Is there any way you could show us how you did the door on the very first one you're holding because it is adorable I love it and I have no clue how to make it. Thank you so much for sharing 💕💕

    • @chasingpaper2022
      @chasingpaper2022  9 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! So glad you like it! I’ll add the door tutorial to my list of the videos, but meanwhile I can just tell you how it was done😉 The cover (2 separate pieces) is a chipboard from a cereal box, cut with an arch on top to create the door shape. It is then covered with scrapbook paper (rustic wood print). Finally, I added the “hardware” - those hinges and a handle are puffy stickers from Dollar Tree 😎 I used Alene’s Tacky glue to make sure they really stick. That’s all! Hope it helps 😊 Let me know if you have any questions! Happy crafting! 🤗

    This is a lovely set of books and I would like to make one for my aunt. Can you tell me where you got the Gothic style door hinges on the book you’re holding at the very beginning of the video? I like those. Thanks

      @chasingpaper2022  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! Glad you like them! The door hinges actually came from a Dollar Tree. They are puffy stickers, but I added Aleene's tacky glue to make sure they stay put. Hope this helps! :)

      If you want more pages in your journal, you need to start with longer paper strips for the "hinges". Happy crafting!
