  • To get started playing Kingdom Death: Monster you'll need four survivor miniatures to represent your four hunting party members. Luckily, the four prologue survivors are super easy to build!

Absolutely a huge help. Calm, considered, and informative. Really appreciate the te spent on how things work and why. I know this is an old video for you but the whole game and miniature building and painting is new to me. You are a god send!

One thing I can't recommend enough is a set of diamond files. They let you get a near perfect fit and I have practically no seems.

Best assembly video out there on this particular set of minis. Thanks for being so detailed!

Just started building my prologue minis for the first time today, this video was very helpful :) immediately went to buy the tools you listed before I started since I’ve never built any before

Good luck and enjoy! It's super fun but it can be fiddly. As (I think) I mentioned in the video, if you can get a lighted magnifying glass that you clamp onto the table edge it's a HUGE help. All the little tiny pieces suddenly look huge and you can really see what's fitting where. I just couldn't think of a way to film while using it so I went the harder route.

You have infinitely more patience than I do with little pieces!

Glad they helped! They were actually my first minis of this style too! I had some model building experience as a kid *way* back that helped a bit.

Thx for the video. Saving it. Getting into the hobby so I have none of the tools and was looking for something that would give me the right direction to avoid breaking pieces. Be back when I manage to get a hold of some (unfortunate day to need to buy stuff).

Thank you, struggled a bit following when the camera was focusing on your hands etc instead of minis but managed to get it done.

Watched it while having a full meal in case Prologue meant there was any info that would help me get in to the start of your campaign. The background music does make it nice and relaxing.

I know it's been a long time since this came out but in regards to nippers you spend more to reduce the cleanup. Something like the godhands significantly reduces how much nub is left and reduces if not eliminates any stress marks from the plastic being pinched.

I really appreciate the vid, ty much!
The thing I dont understand about kdm miniatures is people talk about their quality. IMO they are so so and they are very hard to put together. Even when you do, they always have gaps etc in them. I was pretty disappointed in that aspect tbh. I have other games, like shadows of brimstone, that require assembly and they go together almost perfectly every time. Also, kdm minis have "cuts" in places that makes no sense, like a part of a hand or a piece of a leg, etc.. just kinda odd to me that people rave about the minis when that's just not the case imxp.

I really enjoyed this video ! Thanks a lot !
I have one question (I’m a beginner with this hobby) : Don’t you fear to lose definition on the feet with plastic ciment ? Is superglue a good option to avoid that problem ?

    • @TheManaLeek
      @TheManaLeek  2 роки тому +2

Super glue can work but results in more fragile models since its still two pieces of plastic stuck together whereas with plastic cement it really becomes on piece of plastic.
So long as you're not putting pressure on parts with details, I've found it doesn't really do anything to the details and, ideally, you're only applying cement to the flat, detail-less sections intended to be stuck together.

Really wish there was a way to physically get this game with everything pre-assembled. I am so bad with my hands that watching you glue things gives me anxiety
