    Sir , I am 18 yrs old and I am suffering from diabetes for last more than 10 years and I takes insulin two times in a day , sir I am a single boy of my mother and also I had lost my father at childhood and their is no male in my family other than me so please sir help me to live long life for my family

    My daughter is 3 years age and suffering from diabetes type 1. Her pancreas is not producing sufficient insulin. Can you suggest some yoga tips to increase insulin from her pancreas.

      Dear Abhishek, sorry to know about your daughter’s health. Generally, practices are given to improve the performance of pancreas for type 2. However, I suggest, she must undergo the treatments prescribed by her doctor and in the meantime, you should train her slowly and steadily to learn yoga as a part of her lifestyle instead of making her to do a specific exercise or posture for a particular body part.you can take her to a nearest available yoga centre for the time being as she is very small in age and any online yoga course may not be suitable at present.If you are successful in training her to practice yoga regularly and if it becomes her lifestyle, it should help her in the long run.

      I was recently diagnosed as well. If you find anything useful lmk! I'm taking Creon and sometimes "gut health" by onnit or "Digestech" before meals and it has helped the pain when eating

      Hi Saritha, you can practice either in the morning or in the evening , both are fine. or even both the times. However, you need at least 2 hours gap between any meal and practice of yoga.

    Can a 7Y old who has chronic pancreatitis do this yoga?? How many times a day?? Is there any other yogasanam for chronic pancreatitis??

      Hi, these practices are for all age groups. However, if you are trying to treat chronic pancreatitis, it is better to approach an yoga institute where they treat diseases with yoga and alternative medicine. It has to be wholistic approach rather than practising some asanas alone. You can try Dr krishna Raman @ chennai, who treats all his patients only with yoga even though he is a MBBS doctor. You can google his name for contact details. Also I understand that he does online consultancy as well. Hope your boy or girl gets well soon. Wishing you very best. Santhosham

    Hello, I’m a doctor in California university. I have some questions about this yoga. Which type of diabetes will this yoga help? When you said younger children are getting “sugar”, which type of diabetes are you referring to?

      Hello Doctor, the yogic techniques mentioned for pancreas activation ( all 3 sessions ) combined with the preliminary yogic exercises and simple breathing techniques listed in our channel will help people with type 2 diabetes when they practice regularly along with their already undergoing medication.

      @@BalajisSimpleYoga Thank you for your reply. I would appreciate if you specify type 2 diabetes when you are saying “sugar” in the future videos. As we already know type 1 diabetes can not be cured but there are a lot of people with type 1 diabetes that still believe that it can be cured. If I were you I would use type 2 diabetes because I would not raise the hopes of type 1 diabetes people on this yoga. I have been researching about the misconceptions about type 1 diabetes in India so I think one word could help people in India to understand that type 1 diabetes doesn’t have a cure and it is not the person’s fault if he/she gets it, it is a genetic disease.

      Preferably one set in the morning and one in the evening. Always before food or minimum 3 hours after a meal👍

However, I will be able to tell you for sure that if practice yoga plus some lifestyle changes, your health condition shall definitely improve.       Aarti, you should practice twice a day. Always before food or three hours after food. The number of repetitions that you should practice shall be gradually increased depending upon your flexibility.

      These practices will help you for the better performance of the pancreas, thus the secretion of insulin is streamlined. You may discuss with your doctor on the specific case . However, doing these practices generally helps in improving the performance of pancreas in addition, helps in strengthening of the spinal cord as well.

      Take 3 long breaths between each practice. Also don’t over do. In a slow pace continue to do the practice with proper deep breathing 3 times before the next round of practice. You should be fine..

      Hi Ajeeta, I will keep it in mind. Iam a construction professional, My work always keep me literally busy and hectic throughout the week days including Saturday, so I dedicate Sunday for recording and produce yoga video sessions just because of the passion On yoga.That’s why I could not do a online class yet. However, I will try to do it in the near future 👍
