    Hello, I like your videos, could you please do more videos on applications for vacation schemes and the other steps involved in the process such as interviews or case assessments, ultimately in order to get a training contract, thank you

      Hiya! If you check out a playlist I made (called Training Contract 101): ua-cam.com/video/6FO0W_lM8RM/v-deo.html . There are around 30 videos in here dedicated to the TC process, Vac Schemes and all the things you mention. Thank you! :)

    That's a great video. I have a question, why is collaboration on cross-border work important and how is it best done by a trainee? Is it open-mindedness? What is important to do to make it smooth? Thanks

    • @simranjeetkmann
      @simranjeetkmann  2 роки тому

      Good question Jenny! In respect of cross border work, I've heard it's important to be flexible and adaptable as a trainee; this is because time differences could mean you're having to juggle client demands at unusual times of the day. This helps make working on cross border matters smoother. Cross border work also allows you to understand about the legislation / rules / regulations in other countries, which broadens your global knowledge. This element requires trainees to have patience (in allowing yourself to understand / research in depth other jurisdictions), as well as an interest in how the law operates globally.

    Hi Simranjeet your videos r super informative keep up the amazing work . I wanted to ask you what softwares r mostly used by u in yr training contract period. I consider myself little technologically challenged . Will it be a problem for me in my training period or is it easy to manage the technology or IT stuff plz help

    • @simranjeetkmann
      @simranjeetkmann  Рік тому

      Thank you so much! The software can differ from firm to firm, but having knowledge of using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint has been key for me. Firms also use file management softwares like iManage. Time recording software like inTapp is also used. To send instant messages or have meetings with colleagues, you may need awareness on how to use Slack or Microsoft Teams.
