Good morning, Becky! I’m from Greenville, NC, but we are here in Katy, TX with my son and his family! We are visiting with our granddaughter😊. Have a very blessed trip!
Hope you and Keith have a wonderful cruise. Be safe. I usually watch you in the aft while I sew and then come back on later to hit the like button. See you when you come back. Will watch you daily. Have fun.
I almost always pre-wash unless it’s a charm square or something smaller, or a fabric that I know will not be employed in a quilt that is used. This goes back to the construction of a quilt top for my grandmother. That is my most ambitious project to date. I had a glorious red marbled boutique that bled all over the other fabrics, as well as tears. I was able to get rid of the bleeding for the most part and I repaired the tears but this was a painful lesson and I now wash 90% of the fabric that comes into my home.
Yesterday you said something about getting rid of stuff that you know you are not gonna use I’m so proud of you. I watched the minimal mom and I get rid of stuff too, and you were not gonna change your opinion. You were getting rid of that and I am proud of you.
Was the Halloween fabric coming from Fabric Confetti? I know I ordered but haven't received. I almost always pre wash all my fabrics. I touch and feel fabric as do a lot of other people. I want to start clean. Have a great cruise. Wish I were coming.
For the Stellaire, just draw it on paper and then use your camera to take a picture of it in the hoop with the black dots on it. Send that to the Stellaire and then use the same method in Design Center.
I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT a hand sewer. I had wanted an embroidery machine for over a decade before I was finally able to get one(I could’ve gotten an earlier, but I was distracted by an MLM pitch and spent way too much money on THAT).
Hope all you guys have a wonderful time on the cruise...I look forward to your pictures...question...if you don't have that fancy Brother machine how would you do the words...I am thinking to choose a font and just embroider the words...any other ideas...I am like Becky...can't handsew...thanks everyone. Have a great day...
If you have Stitch Artist, you can use the bezier tool. Make more clicks where there are curves. Hit enter and then assign a run stitch property to it.

Is there a way to get the hand stitched look with the Meridian or Stellaire ( I have both ) given that you can not "scan" with them

Ha d is a four letter word in my world. I've tried, too, and I just can't Ha d embroider either.
right click open with find embrillance thumbnailer.
becky scanning letters in the lumi is more work than its worth. use draw with bezier in stitchartist and turn in to satin stitches. muxh less work
