- Wow! So today I am sharing the first in this round of makeup declutters for 2017. This time I decided to start with eyeshadow palettes. This is definitely the hardest category to tackle! I started with 110 palettes! Ah! I feel so good about the progress I was able to make on this. I hope you enjoy watching. As always if you have questions or comments leave them below. Puja Wahi I agree! Mixed emotions with declutters. It feels good to let go of things I'm not using but it's a reminder how much money I've really thrown down the toilet! 😔
I love watching to hopefully get some idea on what palletes not to buy. Have not bought my first high end pallet yet and dont wanna waste money on something i wont use. However, I have the bug, so we will see!

Interesting declutter. I would have enjoyed it more if you had positioned the camera better.
I don't have that much makeup but watching reminds me how blessed I am, how I really do have more then enough makeup to neverrrrr buy again (unless I run out a fav)....I haven't purchased a palette in about two or three years and I haven't been without once!

You should do a video where you buy products based on the name of the color, and you can't see what the actual color looks like. You could online shop on Sephora or ulta with a friend and they read the names of the colors to you and you pick one without knowing what you actually picked. Then buy a full face and use it in a "tutorial"/ challenge using the stuff you bought based on the color name. Love your channel, thought this was a cool idea !

UD Electric is my favorite color palette of all time. They are pressed pigments & nothing compares to them for me.

Iris Lifrak i only have one eyeshadow palette from them just to try and i'm so in love, i would cry if someone declutter juvia's place palettes because they're amazing.
Iris Lifrak I wanted to buy one from there but I'm not sure with which one to start with. Which one (or ones) do you recommend?
Monica A. My two favorite palettes are the Nubian and Nubian 2, depending on how comfortable you are with color. If you already know that you want something brighter than the Nubian, the Saharan is really awesome too. The only thing that isn't great about Juvia's place is that you usually have to pay for shipping under $100. But I know a couple of UA-camrs have codes for 10%. NIKKIE for nikkietutorials or BABSBEAUTY for babsbeauty, depending on who you want to support. Hope that helps!
PS, I have all the palettes and you can't go wrong with any of them. Although I have to say that my least favorite is the Zulu because I don't gravitate towards those Shades naturally

I am shocked to hear that you don't like tbe Fiona Styles and Tarte eyeshadows because out of my insane amount of eyeshadows those two are some of my favorites. It just goes to show thar everyone's opinions are completely different.

Oh gosh. I don't think I'd be able to get rid of that many. I just bought my first tarte palette and all my other makeup is from walmart. I have 5 kids and most my money goes toward them, so when I buy things I have to LOVE them.

You did good! I got down from 75 to about 40 but my aim is 30 so I still have some distance to go. It helps me to declutter when I focus on the quality of the eyeshadow and how they work for me combined with the fact that there is only 52 weeks in a year 😰
I have recently discovered your videos and you have quickly become a favourite! I enjoyed this video. I have recently done a ddclutter and it is difficult deciding what to get rid of but once it was done in felt so much lighter! I have also put myself on a no buy now.

Where did you get that little mermaid palette?
Poor video quality - for half of the video everything is only half in the shot because you didn't have everything centred in front of the camera. I enjoy declutters but this was irritating to watch.
I really want to buy the Ciate palette and the UD ultimate basics palette. Maybe a couple others, but those ones for sure. When will the blog sale be up?

I just checked to see if you were new to making videos because literally the entire video is BARELY crammed into the lower left hand corner. Girl, didn't you check to see if it was centered? I like your video and your thought process throughout, but make it easier on the eyes or something. I was straining to see your palettes, they kept going off screen.

Are the lorac mega pro's actually good? Have heard mixed reviews, or at least that they are not anywhere near as good as the original pro pallets.
Wow, the UD Basics kind of looked like a rip-off of the Stila palette, lol. I never realized how similar they were. Great declutter!

One question I had, are you prohibited by the company from selling PR items or is it something that UA-camrs just don't do out of principle? I was just curious as to whether makeup companies would restrict UA-camrs to certain requirements
Iris Lifrak it's just more the principle of it, it's frowned upon, if you were given something but turn around and sell it to gain a profit. But in all honesty she only had one PR palette which was costal scents whom sends stuff to just about anyone with any type of social media site or channel. Hope this helps.
Iris love life Most youtubers do giveaways with PR products they don't want, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with selling something I received either especially since PR packages are often extremely generous (sometimes too generous, I never understood why some brands send every shade of foundation they have haha). I think if a youtuber sold the majority of their PR packages they would get crossed off the PR list real fast. It's probably not a big deal for big youtubers who get free stuff all the time but I would feel honoured if I had a beauty channel and a brand recognised my work and thought my opinion was valuable. Selling their gifts would probably come across as greedy and ungrateful
