So hyped but was really kinda disappointed how similar Subzero looks to Scorpion, its like a lesser cool version of scorpion but blue. Always doing my boy dirty hopefully it was just a regular lin kuei uniform and we get to see him later in all his glory as a cryomancer grandmaster

I cried my eyes out!!! my dad passed away in 1994 when I was 10 years old the day before Thanksgiving. A week before he passed he bought me a Sega genesis with sonic the hedgehog two and the first Mortal Kombat! And it was the very first system I have her own for myself, Mortal Kombat has always reminded me of my dad and hold a special place in my heart as one of the most important games in my life! ❤ love your channel dude Mortal Kombat brings us all together as a family!!!

*(Don’t know how old you are, but I’m an “older” dude… lol 😂)
So, as a 13-14 year old kid who saw the cabinet being wheeled into my local bowling alley back in 1992… (MK1) We did not know what this game (with blood, grant you! Because all games up until that point were very tame!) then to add the fatality element!? Not to mention you HAD to figure out moves and finishers on your own or wait to learn from a friend/see them in an EGM Magazine… Well, MK Original was Special!!!
FF to 1993 an MK2 drops! EVERYTHING BETTER! BIGGER!!! More polished! (For that time) Sooo, skipping school it was, (not eating lunch to save my quarters) so I could play (MK2) at the Video Dollar Day across the street… I could go on, but to EVERY iteration from then until now, this is a very special day! ❤️

@@dominiquewashington2553 in the background when you see him walk to kung lao you see a thunder cloud. So I'm 99 percent sure he still has his powers but he's no longer a god. If anything Lui made him one of the chosen ones and granted him the powers.
I really hope we get to go to all the realms in this game and Havik returns and is playable again
I know it's probably a huge reach, but I always thought about this game (or potentially an Aftermath-like expansion to it) would explore what was going on in the other realms during MK11. I can see Orderrealm being thrown into crisis due to the timeline meddling and Havik taking an opportunity to seize power for Chaosrealm. Obviously needs to be fleshed out more, but it bums me out that so many great 3D era characters have been overlooked for so long.
Ikr and like how does mileena exist .. without Shang stung … so indeed this is a new idea of the characters .. a new era I think lui kang is the villain … and Shang stung came to fk this shit up

To see Liu Kang go from Earthrealm Champion, to getting killed in deadly alliance, to being bought back as a zombie, then be a champion again, getting killed by Raiden, becoming a revenant, to becoming a fire god, is such a full circle moment as a liu Kang fan. He's finally on the cover of a mk game after 30 years

Man it’s crazy how much this franchise means to so many people. This was the first game I remember growing up playing mk1 on Sega. The hype is real and the wait has been too long! It is time!

There's just something about Mortal Kombat that just absolutely summons all the emotions possible. It's *In our blood* like they said. Ed Boon is incredible for this. I'm still holding out for Onaga. The trailer was beautiful, and I obviously can't wait. But shang showing up now just means he's not the big bad simular to Shao Khan in mk11, and he wasn't the big bad in there, so I still hope that my boy Onaga shows plz fingers crossed 🤞

I feel you dynasty. I've been playing these games ever since the Super Nintendo, N64, PS1 days with mk2, 3, and trilogy. And its hard to believe that this franchise almost ended 17 years ago with MK: Armageddon in 06, not even half way in the franchise. And here we are now 5 games later lol and still going strong

Liu Kang saying "one consistent reminds" reminds me of Raiden saying, "Mortal Kombat has alway been and always will be" in Deadly Alliance.

When I was 5 years old I played MK1 with my older brother he was 12. The last thing we did was play MK together and he went to the Hospital for a check up for his heart and I was excited for him to get back so we could play more. Sadly he passed away that day. I have a major connection to this series I'm 32 now and man I'm so excited for this words cannot express. ❤

I think it’s wild how this is meant to be a reboot of the franchise and give it new life, but effectively is a continuation of the old. Can’t wait to see how this develops up to the release. Super hyped to play it when it comes out. Super hyped to see how Shang Tsung will try to get revenge on Liu Kang for taking the hour glass.

My 1st was Final Fantasy 7 Remake,. Now I shed tears of a warrior today. 🥲. I had just turned 9 when the original, mk came out days after my bday. My father bought it for me as a bday gift. Now, it comes out 2 weeks before my 40th, bday. Time flys but, MK lives forever. 💪

I notice that there is a lot of mention of peace, brotherhood, working together and choice. I think the dialogue is telling us a lot about how the game will play... Both aftermath endings potentially being cannon and having choices is a large potential, if I'm not grasping at straws, with the "Immersive Story Campaign".
I cannot wait to see what the next bit of info reveals about how the game will play.

What we learned from this trailer:
- is the restart of the rebooted retcon
- Is the timeline of the Fire God Liu Kang, but we were also shown Shang Tsung (but the question is, where is the Crown of the Kronika?)
- Judging by the setting of the presented world and that Kitana is being taken with her sister in a carriage as a significant person...Then maybe she is a princess of the Outworld and maybe even an empress...
- If there really is such graphics in the game, then it will definitely be inappropriate, and so little is clear what.we are waiting for the drains of the roster of fighters...
I remember when I was 8 my dad always took me to GameStop to pick out a new game at the time I picked out games that had dope covers and that’s when MK 9 crossed my eyes. I went home and I played it and I was like wtf is this. I’ve never seen fighting games with that amount of brutality. and that’s how I fell in love with MK.

It almost seems that Liu keeps remaking the world because of Shang Tsung. But we'll see what the story is once it's out. Man I'm surprised they already have a release date, was not expecting that at all.

I just watched this trailer and man I was soo shook like wow the trailer was amazing the graphics to the designs like how liu kangs , scorpions, sub zeroes, kitanas and mileenas design looks awesome and really different and how Shang Tsung came out the portal with vengeance which he always has vengeance but this one was different like slit necks, punch through faces, snaps neck, pushing eyeballs in, stealing souls and throwing body down with excessive force which is insane and it makes him more of a threat but when he went up against liu kang he got stopped and then the move liu kang did was so well done I hope that’s one of his fatality. But the game has come so far from the very first game till now is so amazing like the hard work and the dedication to make a game like mortal kombat like wow. But I wanted to see you reaction to this dynasty to see how you felt about it and I felt your reaction. DUDE THE POSSIBILITIES FOR THE LORE NOW ARE ENDLESS ED BONE IS FKIN GENIUS. The fatalities are going to be so sick, the new character design is dope, and the new canvas for the story? Oh my god boys mk is back and we got a banger! One Theory that comes to my mind is if it gives you a choice for a good or bad ending or to fight on the Good or bad side? Or like co-op campaign like with shaolin munks did but different in its own way there is so much here i can go off of and to brainstorm with i have so many ideas but yeah this looks fire!

Kitana (at that portal scene) looks like she’s finally going back to her persian design! That’d be so good, I always hated the cliché of her suddenly looking full asian just to match with lui kang’s looks. She (and mileena since copypaste) should look more like her mom and dad which are both more persian/caucasian/Mediterranean looking, just like the rest of edenians are actually.

I’ve been a Mortal Kombat fan since I was 5 and my first Mortal Kombat experience was the first game on the Super Nintendo but it was heavily censored which after playing MK 2, 3 and 3 Ultimate around that same year (1995) I found it quite amusing that the first game was censored but the other 3 on the Super Nintendo were not. After seeing this trailer drop, I got the same feels and I am absolutely stoked to play it in September.
Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Raiden, Sindel and Jade were my mains growing up and Liu Kang becoming a god in MK 11 was so unexpected but it brought me sheer joy seeing him become what he was meant to be due to his virtues and he fucking deserves it! I now want to know more about the new era he has created, and where it’s heading, but we’ll have to wait until September for that. Can Fire God Liu Kang keep the new status quo, or is it going to fall apart because after Deadly Alliance, I’m used to seeing the MK universe get turned upside down. Hahahaha
