Their Friendship in MK11 was amazing. I think Mileena and Kitana in a new timeline where their rivalry doesn't exist will be very interesting to see. Same with Scorpion and Sub-Zero. And speaking of Scorpion, it's not Scorpion per-se, that's Hanzo, because he's human there; not a Spectre. It's a new timeline so I think that for Hanzo his family is still alive and Sub-Zero never killed anyone of his clan either. It's a big reset.

That was Young Raiden :) Both endings from MK11 Aftermath seem to be canon which I’m glad they’re committing to how wild the story has got and not chickening out with an actual full reboot. Can’t wait !
No, Liu's ending was canon but with good there will always be evil as a balance, therefore Liu allows Shang Tsung to exist. This young Shang works for Onaga, this is long before Shao Khan.

Yes. I’ve been playing this since the original Mortal Kombat 1 And now we’re back at the beginning again. Just when I thought they couldn’t keep my attention with the new story line. They do this. And now I’m ready play it and restart the whole series again with this new one. This was is and always will be to me the best fighting video game of all time period. The storyline is icing on the cake. I’m ready for the new Mortal Kombat 1
