Ageless tune, great reaction! Stretching to connect a double, could be one with "people's ears perk up" and "spaz". Hit me when Knox mentioned ears perking up like a dog. Spaz was the name of Spawn's dog. Preceding line of being "alive again" (reborn) is spot on for Spawn's character as well. Not a chance in Hell Em isn't a Spawn fan ;)

I love when you hear things, that I've been wondering to myself about bars in songs and wonder if other people pick it up when they listen! Love the content!
When I first heard this, it was progressively just hyping me up more, I remember that I heard Weezy's verse, and I was stumped and had no idea on how Em could possibly top that, I thought he would get killed on his own song. And then came EM with his, and WOW. He did something I didn't think he could, one of his BEST verses. Doing better than Weezy in his PRIME is almost impossible, and their verses go so well together. Just, *_chef's kiss_*

Hey Knox; the dude singing the 'No love' bits is produce Just Blaze. Him,The Alchemist and Denaun Porter make cameo appearances in the studio, in the MV and you can clearly see its him singing that part.
I love this song. And my favorite line is actually "my bars are full of broken bottles and my night stands are full of open bibles". That paints such a strong picture in my head! Some book-authors manage to do that with just a few words as well, and Wayne is a master of condensed meaning. I used to think Wayne's verse was a bit short but I always liked it. just thought it pales a little against Eminem's. But the longer I listen to this song, the more I think it's perfect and it might even top (for me, personally) Eminem's. Not so much technically, but in the way he uses words. He's a word-painter.
BTW, never really noticed the moments where Wayne doubles Eminem in his verse. I think it's because those lines (you'll never take my pride, for example, but all the others too) work for him just as much as for Eminem.
Ur break downs are so good. my pee sized brain catches so little. I been doing one of your break downs a day as therapy from this global pandemic and the constant amplified echo of it. Big ups!
Man, I've been waiting for this for so long and didn't even know I was waiting for this, this song got me through a good portion of my childhood, great breakdown man!

One of my favorite songs! LET'S GOOOO!!!
Finally!!! Love hearing the GOAT break down 2 legends....greatness all over the screen.......weird that you can't show actual videos; you pause so much, I can't imagine why it would get blocked. You took a 4 minute song and produced a 34 min vid as only you can. #goat #hilltopmafia #chaostheory
I love when you hear things, that I've been wondering to myself about bars in songs and wonder if other people pick it up when they listen! Love the content!
Finally!!! Been requesting for this my whole life lol. The verses in this song are top notch.
When I first heard this, it was progressively just hyping me up more, I remember that
I heard Weezy's verse, and I was stumped and had no idea on how Em could possibly top that, I thought he would get killed on his own song.
And then came EM with his, and WOW. He did something I didn't think he could, one of his BEST verses.
Doing better than Weezy in his PRIME is almost impossible, and their verses go so well together. Just,
*_chef's kiss_*
The chef's kiss got me lol! Liked!
💯
Wayne really went in on this one! Em never disappoints
By far this is the best reaction channel I've found, I like a lot of them and some focus on lyrics and meanings but only Knox Hill goes into details like you do. I am a new subcriber and been browsing all your videos. Keep it up huge fan love your stuff 👏
Hey Knox; the dude singing the 'No love' bits is produce Just Blaze. Him,The Alchemist and Denaun Porter make cameo appearances in the studio, in the MV and you can clearly see its him singing that part.
Knox the line "I so started to rock fellow"
Is actually "my soul started to rot fellow"
Gosh, it's been a while since I listened to this song. Looking forward to listening to it again with your brain to help!
When your so good you cant say it cuz it aint cool for you to stay cocky anymore. This line is just awesome it just says it all.
We haven't seen Em on his prime yet who knows? Thanks for pointing that out I really thinks he is getting better with time
I personally like his old stuff more. He used to ride the beat like no other. No it feels forced
….and with his new album out now ….. now you know!! ha
You were like a hip-hop scientist @Knox. Thank you for the intricate and meticulous breakdown.
Day 41 of asking for Holy- Lil’ Wayne, song is full of bars
Day 41 of giving u like for asking for Holy- Lil wayne
Holy is truly a Top Tier Wayne Song. OMG, he BLACKS OUT on that track.
Yes
Lol
This song is just pure 🔥 so much punch and power
No lie Lil Wayne has the greatest Mixtape catalog EVER.
Dedication 2 is the best mixtape of all time

I was listening to recovery when I was in rehab and it really helped me through it. Been clean for 15 years now.
Same! 15 years on November 1st!
Damn I’ve listened to this song 100s of times and I have never caught any of these references by Eminem
This song was nothing but a masterpiece
Damn this song is my fav Em song
I almost forgot about this song 😂😂. Thanks for bringing it back to the forefront ❤.
Another great reaction, thank you!!!
Big ups!
Please do “Glory” by lil wayne. The word play is legendary.
My goodness I had this song on replay when it first came out. Now I'm here watching your breakdown and it's still 🔥🔥
"Marsh is not mellow" is also referring to him (marshall) not being mellow. The way I interpreted at least.
Man, I've been waiting for this for so long and didn't even know I was waiting for this, this song got me through a good portion of my childhood, great breakdown man!
Didn't even realize it was a lighter 😂.. You are incredible for hearing that and making that association 👌🏾.
Oh yea that lighter is Wayne’s thing bro. He used that so much throughout his discographies 🙌
@@KnoxHill Amazing reaction as usual👌🏾 especially the Eminem portion 🙌🏾 as usual 😄.. By the way thank you for Chaos theory 🙇🏾♂️🔥🙏🏾.
Yep. Me too. I have been listening to this song for yrs...I don't know that.
i love pretty much everything em and lil wayne have collabed on but this one is probably my favorite to this day. great song
and yes im aware they have only done like what 3 songs together? but none the less my comment still stands
More Wayne Knox! No ceilings mix tape probably my favorite project of his.
I love this song forever...
I want you to react to *Eminem: Rainman*
Lmao. A song that never gets old. You're definitely the best breakdown..er?
Years later, Eminem gives Lil Wayne the props he deserves with his new song "The ringer" when he says that most rappers copy lil Wayne shows and I'm glad you said that Eminem respects Wayne because he does, just as much as Wayne respects him
