My SST is two years old… Could not be happier with the bike and the experience in general. Thanks for helping to get me on this Jeff! I don’t know if I would have pulled the trigger without your videos.
Good stuff Jeff, love the colorway and meaning behind it. My buddy Dan ran into a guy in AZ who was riding a REEB and said he bought it because of you. We shouted you and the bike out in the most recent episode of the Ride and Laugh MTB Podcast. In fact, I have heard nothing but good things about these bikes. Congrats on your new position and responsibilities with the company. I'm sure, with you behind the helm (pun intended) you guys will do great. Sage
Hey Jeff jus finished watching Killing Time lol...so good..😜😌🚴...hey love the channel keep up the great work! 👍👍👍 Never heard of these REEB bikes they look impressive!
Nice to see a bit of riding on trails that resembles what's out my backdoor here in the Northeast. My current bike is a bit of relic ( from 2007), an original faux bar Turner Sultan 29er. I've been flowing Reeb for years and the SST is calling my name. A small batch, made in the USA, non-single pivot mid-travel 29er, non-carbon frame with classic lines and sophistication, yes please. p.s. On the Reeb website the non-drive side of the bikes are a bit camera shy (not sure I found a single picture). In the case of the SST, no rear disk brake mount information is listed or pictured (min rotor size?). After some digging around I found a picture on Instagram that shows a nice 3D printed post mount design with barrel nuts. These types of design touches should get more attention on the product page, the work has been done show it off.
It absolutely moves, I definitely set up my bike with 25% sag and will get the full travel, I can't stand former and current trials guys when they pump their shocks up into a hardtail.... that's what ummmmm hardtails are for lol!
I rode my last SST for 2.5 years before building this one, when I rode for Giant I cracked a Trance frame every 3 months, REEB's may cost a little more but I wouldn't consider that overpriced. What Ti hardtail are you riding?
Stanton Sherpa Ti, and Switchback Ti. I’m considering a steel FS. I’d love a Reeb, but the price turns me away. I’m considering Stanton and Chromag Steel FS.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss Hey Jeff, Love the vids. I have an aluminum Giant Reign and haven't had any issues. Of course, I dont place the same stress on my bike as you do as my skill level wont allow lol. Were your trance bikes aluminum or carbon ? Where did they crack ? I wont buy carbon for that reason. Thanks
Our bikes aren't for everyone and we understand that. These bikes cost us a LOT to make and they're done one at a time so it's probably not the best business plan, but those that own a REEB love them and that makes it all worthwhile. We could be like other brands and sell carbon bikes made overseas that cost $600 and mark them up to $3500 but I sleep better at night knowing the amount of pride and craftsmanship that go into every bike and how the riders that own them are hopefully spending way more time riding than dealing with worn out pivots, warranties and confusing their bikes with 10 other riders in the parking lot. 🙂
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss That's cool and everything but Marino makes custom steel bikes in Peru for $600 a frame. Definitely not a crappy overseas bike. You can choose Chromoly or Reynolds 853 too. 8 month build time, but it's worth the wait. Custom everything, even the bike name. Marino is a small business man, so any business he gets he deserves it. I'm not for buying overpriced bikes just because they're made in the USA.
I think it’s really cool that there are so many options that everyone can find a bike to ride that fits into their personal value equation. Just do one thing. Ride your bike!
Wow. Your bike before you even washed it was cleaner than my bike has ever been since it was new. ☺️

Looking good man!

Someone tore it down 😔

What’s a good trail system in NJ for an all day ride? 20-30miles of good tech

Love the steel, but what's the weight?
My SST built like this is about 34 pounds
Is the rear aluminum, or is it all steel?
The SST is full steel
Where is this??
Your suspension seems to hardly move. Am I seeing things? Not giving you the "getting full travel" lecture, lol. Great riding BTW.

How easy is it to get girls with a sweet van like that??? It’s easy right?
I don't care if it's made in the USA. Reeb is just too expensive.
