Jeff, that is incredible! It looked pretty tedious, but, I have to say, your color combination and the reaction with the white border and the transparents looked beautiful. I am with you, that Salmon (I've used it before) can be a wildcard sometimes. I am anxious to see the final result as sometimes that Salmon can mellow out. Regardless, it is a beautiful piece! Very nice and a lot of work, I like the transparent parts the best and I think hind sight for the brown maybe 2 different tones would have been better but I agree it looks good and work with what you have from there. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

My poor aching back. Bending over the table is the worst part. But it should look okay in the end. If I keep smiling...hard for me.

I did think about leaving it, but that would make it too big for the mould I intended to use. But I do agree. Sort of a shame.

Why did you not have to dam the piece?
Hi Paige. Because it wasn't that thick overall. Each strip, while wobbly cut, was still overall only 6 mm thick. The feature also was only 6 mm thick.
Very interesting piece. You certainly have more patience than I have.
