Considering that a significant number of SpaceX engineers are either East Asian or Indian, I would say yeah, the chances are very high that some of these space startups in India will become very significant.

Space sector is independent of politics thankfully. All former prime ministers have been keen to see it progress. Even if the someone from the current opposition comes to power, the missions are likely to continue. Bloomberg will have ample opportunities to cover the launches.
