Best A-Frame Chicken Tractor

We have built many chicken tractors from 4 different designs but this one is the best functioning tractor we’ve made yet. We wanted to share it with you to help with the tractors you may want to build in the future.

That gap between our roof and the bottom board is large enough for a weasel to get inside and destroy your birds. We had that occur to us, and so when we make our tractors we insure all the holes are covered with hardware cloth. Thanks for sharing.

That’s good to know, I haven’t bought of that. I have closed the gap now though. We don’t have weasels in this part of the country though.

The tractor goes on deep mulch bedding. We are in the south, it doesn’t get very cold for long here.
