You guys should really have gotten some early season birds as examples and or used Hens. The teal in early season look a lot different.

Preaching to the choir. I've seen Wardens that couldn't tell the difference between Hen Mallard, FL Mallards (either sex), and Black ducks....in hand!

The reason I don’t duck hunt is I can’t identify most of these ducks at 60 mph. That and the regulations are confusing.
