- This video describes the installation of a Top Gear X Pipe and has sound clips of before and after the installation. The car has also benefitted from a GUNDO hack which mimics the PSE exhaust system. The X pipe is a centre silencer / muffler delete so it adds some sound but it is not overly loud, and it sounds fantastic when pushed.

Nice one! Cheers 👍🏽
Great video. Thinking of doing this myself, the X pipe not the Gundo. Recognising yours will be louder with both mods, have you experienced any MOT issues? Is it still quiet enough to pass? I know noise from exhaust mods is something that is being clamped down on these days.
Shall we see video of gundo hack process please?
Great video mate, do they do this x pipe for the first gen 997 do you know?
Hey thanks buddy! I’m not sure on a gen 1 pipe, your best to check them out, there’s a link in the description to their website
Sounds great! What’s it like when holding steady speeds on the motorway?
You barely notice it at cruising speeds, but it comes alive when you put your foot down. Overall I’m very impressed.
Do you think the x pipe on its own would be a noticeable improvement over stock? I think I detect a local accent . Your car is the colour that was too of my list but unjust couldn't find one. Looks and sounds great.
@@andygowing9677 I reckon anything over stock will be an improvement. I looked specifically for an Aqua Blue 911 and luckily I found this one 😊
Hello sir, have you noticed your left exhaust to be more "sootier" than your right ones? I noticed at the end of this video where you compare the before and after that the left pipes seem to expel more than the right, especially on the before one. I ask because "people" on the internet say that that is an indication of bore scoring. Another tell tale sign is the bottom of the exhaust tips being blacker on the left set verses the right, which I think is the case in your video. I'm not trying to alarm you, just something that I noticed. Anyways, good luck on growing your channel.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. The car has had a bore score check down every port and came back all clear, which was conducted prior to purchasing in April ‘23. I have read about this theory, and it may be right for some but it is not a true indication. The only way is to have a camera inspection.
@@Aqua_Blue_997.2-nd4wb Ahh, very good.
