Love Diesel Mercedes Channel. Please make some more t-shirts and hats. I'll take one of each. This tutorial really helped me swap out a busted right wiper motor. One improvement to your technique IMO is to *fully* remove the metal trim piece by removing the vertical 8mm screw adjacent to the blinker. It makes it much easier not only to remove the headlight but to disconnect the hose, and more importantly, put everything back together. Otherwise, great tutorial and a well-deserved thumbs-up. Thanks again.
I'm curious how to 'finish the job. (a) What is the final solution to the Wiper Fluid Delivery tubes? (b) How difficult/what is the procedure for replacing that thin sheet metal body panel just below the headlight with one from a (similar color) car that did NOT have headlamp wipers...(i.e. plug up the holes in the face of your car)? (c) For (roughly) $200 Euro headlights could be installed at this juncture...minus the expenditure, why not make that change?...any complications?...different voltage/amperage draw?...or is it plug and play?
always nice to watch your videos, so much to learn. Thank you. I was hoping you will fix headlight wiper, I actually never see them working in real life, just wondering if any car maker still put this on the car or they all switch to sprayers only?
I have a 300TD wagon. 1987. If you live in the Northern Calif. I would like to get with you cause I have some things that need to be done. I would like to make a video of how to remove and install a newer style engine hood. when times comes.
