Not everyone has the stuff to be a bottom: the role means enduring a lot of pain and stigma. But the lifestyle also brings great satisfaction and, at times, moments of exquisite, unparalleled joy
I was locked up with Big Don and everything his saying is how he was. We got cool because my celly was from the bottoms. Some real dudes. Big Don read every newspaper from any city
I was 39 years old when I got out of prison. I tutored over 400 fellow prisoners. They younger ones called me Mr. Chuitt. There's a time when you learn you're an old timer and you're respected because you did all that time without drama and you managed to do some good along the way.
Coming out like this as three black men openly acknowledging that they are bottom boys is huge for the gay black community. We face a lot of stigma among the black community at large who can be extremely anti-LGBTQAAIP2S+. For these guys to come on the podcast in front of the world and show that they were bottoms in prison makes other guys feel more confident about it too. I'm one of the Top Boyz myself and we need our Bottom Boyz like these. These guys are a bit old for it now, their bottoms are probably not what they used to be, but it's really the enthusiasm that counts. A good power bottom is a prize at any age. Shout outs to these real ones. Local: Burned. Ones: Real. Yewsummin: Masked.

No. John’s voice sounds very different from his other interviews. Quite frankly, I lost a respect for him during this interview. I guess he’s just an actor after all
Why does it take so long for people in these areas to grow up mentally? Can't be put in jail if you not out there doing shit to be put in jail. I know I come from the inner city I have a Doc# and I know it was my actions that got me caught up no one else's.

Why nobody ever mentions Lawrence Street? It was the other major street in the Bottom during the height of the gangbanging era.

Why did Bernthal change is voice to make it sound more "urban" because he's got these guys on the show? lmaoo
That is literally how he talks IRL. He isn’t actually Shane, or the Punisher, he’s just a guy who talks like that
I’m urban too

I dislike how John clearly takes pleasure in hanging out with these types of people and dresses like a bad boy yout himself.
Bro do you know his story? I clearly dislike people who judge and think they are saints, sit down and shut up...
