- Finally, no more storm! A nice sunny day out on the ship. I tried out some different foods and got a specialty drink from Johnson! Make sure you ask for him and try out his specials!

Awesome Eldon!! You made it to Good Spirits and had Johnson make you a drink. I’m guessing he didn’t want to make you the Zombie, or didn’t remember how to make it. The Angels Envy Old Fashioned he made you looked really good though. Daily around 5pm, they do a series of special cocktails that come with a nice recipe card to take home if you order them. If you go back, be sure to ask for a card if you get one of those cocktails. The Vanilla Sky you had is one of those drinks. I think he and Putu there make the best cocktails on the ship.
Haha yeah, he didn't remember how to make it. But man, their drinks are so good! Glad you told me about this bar! We're here almost every night now haha
@@Eldons_Excursions Haha, that what I figured. I'll give you the recipe. It will cost 4 drink credits and be a pretty strong drink, but unique and one to remember. (And maybe forget later) 😆
Here’s the recipe for the Zombie…
Zombie
Ingredients;
3oz Aged Rum
1 oz Overproof Rum
1 dash Absinthe
.5 oz Velvet Falernum
.75 oz Lime Juice
.25oz Grapefruit Juice
.25 Cinnamon Syrup
1 barspoon Grnadine
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Method;
1. Combine all ingredients.
2. Shake with crushed ice
3. Strain into glass
4. Garnish with mint sprig

I was also having Johnson and Putu make a Bitter Mai Tai. It’s a real nice take on the classic Mai Tai, just not as sweet. Give it a try. Let me know if you get the guys to make these drinks for ya. You’re going to love ‘em!
Bitter Mai Tai
Take on the classic Mai Tai but less sweet
Ingredients;
.75 oz Jamaican Rum
.5 oz Orange Curaçao
1.25 oz Campari
1oz Lime Juice
.75 oz Orgeat
Method;
1. Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker
2. Shake with ice
3. Strain over crushed ice into an old fashioned glass
4. Top with crushed ice and garnish with mint sprig.

Super random, but have you encountered the weird forward Elevator that closes like 3 times before it actually closes? So annoying but it was a funny way to bond with people.

A show room like a theater? Yeah, they had a couple of shows there, just didn't record them because sometimes copy written music is played. I'll try and record some later and voice over them.
The main dining room has a free sit down breakfast! Sabatini’s is for suite guests, but the main dining room breakfast is free for everyone!
Haha I'm just now discovering this. I'm definitely going to take advantage of this. I heard the breakfast is really good!
@@Eldons_Excursions Yesss take advantage of it! Way better than the buffet to be honest. I prefer main dining room breakfast over the buffet. On all cruises there’s always a free sit down breakfast in the main dining room. Enjoy!!
I'm curious about the temperature on the ship. Do they keep it cool? Do you get a thermostat in your room?
@fw7993 Absolutely! You can control your own temperature in the room. I always kept the sliding glass door open, and the breeze was perfect.

I believe this is the regular cruise. A lot of people have taken this same cruise in the past.
Do you leave your plates on the table and they clear them?
Yeah, anywhere on the ship. Just leave it, and within seconds, they clean it up. They're really on top of it.
How about "Excursions with Elden". Just a thought.

Breakfast in Da Vinci is for everyone and Sabatini is for suites(at least when i was on crown)
