- We're here!! Honolulu Hawaii, for the first time! What a day. First time using a taxi in years and my first time EVER using Uber to get around! Spent way too much on a taxi 🙄
Also, I got to see Disney's Aulani resort! 😍😍
There is so much to do, so little time in one day! I can't wait to return and see more! The weather was perfect.

Don’t beat yourself up on the cab fare, it’s a learning experience. Try and see it not as a negative but you just helped all your viewers to not make the same mistake 😊 that’s why you have a channel people love.

@@Eldons_Excursionsyou’re welcome, we’ve all been there 😊 what I’ll do is have the Uber and Lyft app on my phone and check both. You’d be surprised how they will differ in price at the same hour.
We're going on the same cruise leaving out of LA on the grand princess end of September 24 will be lots of fun.

So they wear a lot of Alohaware in Hawaii but it's kind of a different style than the stuff marketed towards tourists. Reverse print shirts are probably your best bet. They're kind of understated. Some are dressier and some more casual. The Honolulu Costco had a ton last time I was there, decent mid grade kind of quality for cheap.

Sorry that the taxi took advantage of you. Taxis are crazy. I think what killed you was the fact that you asked him to wait while you went to eat. They keep the meter going.
Yeah... once I found out that I paid waaay too much, it really ate at me. This taxi driver had me pay him 10$ to wait, then once I walked out, he swapped me to another taxi. Charged me 3$ a min.
Uber is waaay better.

Don't be too hard on yourself. You went to hawaii to have fun and it sounds like you are. Next time, just ask the taxi how much to go to the destination and they can either charge a flat rate or give an estimate.

So far Uber has been a lot more easier.
Fun Fact: If you want to just tour Aulani do not drive there and expect to find a parking space if you are not staying at any of the resorts. You'll just have to turn around and head back to Honolulu.
Getting an Uber was so convenient. Drop off and picked up.
Dude, I have been on three cruises now and I’m absolutely paranoid about making it back to the ship before it sails. I’m usually there hours before departure time. Watching you in Kauai and especially Honolulu made for heart stopping drama to see if you would make it.
@johnopal316 haha my bad man. The ship staff are really cool about it. They'll call you if they're waiting on you. Leaving you is last on their minds.
