I sat in the Ioniq 6 yesterday and had no issues with space. I'm 1.95M (6'5") and had a lot of room in the drivers seat, and approx 1 fist height above. I had someone sit behind me who was 1.88M (6'2") and they were comfortable also.
I sat in two Ioniq 6’s at a dealership in the northeastern US; one car had a sunroof and the other did not. I am 193 cm or 6’4”. The car that had a sunroof lacked headroom, but that was not a problem with the car with no sunroof. I did not sit in the back seat of either car. Both cars had good legroom.
Looks like more than 2 cm headroom (more like 5cm with the sunroof open? at 03:43 it seems even more than that) Maybe the panel between glass ceiling and windshield has a big bump downwards and it gives you the impression that you will hit it with your head if you lean forward?
I bought a Tesla Model 3 Long Range for £48k. It has brilliant efficiency and a range of circa 350 miles, accelerates to 60 mph in a little over 4 seconds, is fun to drive and has access to the Supercharger network. I guess there's reasons for me to be biased, but I think Tesla still beats the competition.
Well the Ioniq 5 for me being 6'4" also is too small as my head rubs the roof when the seat is in my driving position so am looking at other EV's though still love the Ioniq 5.
From the side it looks a lot like the Ur Saab from the late 40's. Lightyear One and Mercedes EQX also share this slanted and long tail (dictated by aerodynamics)
Ha ha... Several big cars have the same problem: Nio ET7, Mercedes EQE and others. There is a trend towards sedan and huge legroom at the backseat which in turn steels room for luggage.
I am also 193 cm and I can fit inside the Ioniq 6 if the car has no sunroof. As for the trunk, yes it’s small, but still useful, and you can fold down the back seats if needed.
The guy in the video probably has a disproportionally long upper body for his height (didnt he say 180cm?). A 180cm person can have the same torso length as a 195cm person, as some people have very different proportions (I'm 186 but have about same torso length as my dad who is 195cm).

Tall persons usually have long legs, so the headroom becomes not the issue it might seem at first.
I'm 1.90, too, and literally had no issues

I like this car but it’s too expensive for me 😭😭😭
Is Ioniq 5 much better when it comes to headroom? 194 cm tall asking
This car as a Kombi would be grreat 😇
Yea I’m 2m tall and it’s strange I can’t fit in a IONIQ 5 or probably this IONIQ 6, but a EV6 I’m very comfortable.

Reminds me of a Porsche at the back.
A Danish UA-camr said that Porsche called to get their tail back 😅
"Not the biggest trunk" thats mildly said for a postbox.

Would love this car if I could justify the price vs my Kona. But could always get a good deal on one in a few years I guess.
I’m 6ft 2 and I have plenty of space in mine. I’ve seen people review this car and not even adjust the steering wheel lol
Der #chrismaniac mit seinen 1,88 m hatte keine Probleme vorne, nur hinten ein bisschen.
I like low aero drag - but the trunk/boot on this car already is no-go for me. And I am 6'-4" (193cm) and so that is a double no thank you.
A commenter said that he and and friend (1.9X something) had no problems. It might depend on how long your legs are. BR, Per (DK)

@@outbackigloo6489 Right - it's the trunk/boot opening that is too small. The ID.7 has a lift back/hatchback and that is much more practical.
Beeping 😂😂😂😂
@195cm it is sadly, a pass (for me)
See, I posted above that I (1.95M) sat in one yesterday and it was completely fine. Lots of space.
I'm 194, but I'm thinking of trying the version without sunroof (at dealership)
