I hate dump trucks and there drivers. Every encounter I have with one the are driving reckless, and all kinds of thing are flying everywhere out the back. Y’all cracked my windshield 4 times! And not to mention I seen a dump truck with a full load tip over and land on a car absolutely obliterated it and it’s driver. I can’t want till computerized trucks are super advance tech take your jobs because I think I can trust them more. It’s nice to see you operating your truck safely though. I truly believe you guys and all trucks/drivers need more regulation and more training.
Hey chris Howe come you dont have dump trailers for your dumptrucks here in sweden we almost always have trailers on our trucks when we need to move alot off dirt or Mud
Everyone is going to automatics the old truckers are wore out and I have seen firsthand what inexperienced truckers can do in a manual. But those Allisons are nothing to sleep on sure beats an Ultrashift
Automatic is the way to go. Allison's are just as reliable or better than manual transmissions and any body can drive it. Dont gotta worry about some new guy rolling back into a car or burning up the clutch
For all who talk about people who drive auto shifts being sissies you need to drive one yourself to see how much easier your life behind the wheel can be. I love my 13spd but if I was given an auto shift I’d be in heaven.
I love the running commentary you really keep up my side of the conversation for me as I am watching. The weather and North Carolina rural topography is excellent. That truck has impressive gauges and switches.

That a T880? Looks like KW finally made the cab big enough to actually fit in. I'm trying to get into the game and did a test with a local company in their Aussie T359. Even with the seat in the back wall I still couldn't get my clutch foot in the right spot not to mess things up, not helped by the fact I'd never driven an Eaton 18 speed before.

Thanks for the camera perspective from the dump box. Really got a good idea how sloppy the mud is when it was sloshing around as you were backing up to dump. It would suck if ya lost a load while driving. Would be a huge mess.
Same thing in the northeast. So much rain. We cant get a job graded out. So it will run off and harden up. Try. And not dry enough then damm pours again. Never. Seen a fall like this. Its worse then spring
You gotta work on your pull forward and jam on the brakes so that the tailgate slaps the truck body hard to get out that last little bit and scare the neighbors with the loud noise technique. Lol

May be an automatic, but it sure gets up and goes, even fully loaded. He showed the acceleration when they first got it. It was impressive.
