    I remember working on that fireplace during food court construction back in 2001.

    With many malls around the U.S. closing down it does my heart good to see West Acres thriving. I grew up in Fargo and have many fond memories of this place, especially at Christmas time where you could escape the cold and get all your shopping done! (Of course that late trek to your cold car at the end of the night was no fun). Also used to work at the Pet Center back in 1990, one of my first jobs :)

    I've been in West Acres Mall during the summer, it's very pleasant in there, although it did get pretty crowded on the weekends.

    Grew up here in 1970's. Food court is new. Actually a great place to grow up and live. Remember the blizzard of 1974? Lake country Minnesota, only 1 hour away.

    They need to double the size of the mall and I bet it would still be packed

    Makes me wonder when the Bare Minerals store closed down for good. Think the new Sephora store took much of their business away.

      Yep! HerBurgers closed down a few years ago and the anchor space is still vacant. Besides that most spaces in the mall are filled.

    A boring mall if you’ve been to other big malls in the US. Nothing exciting there at all.

    Odd - almost no one wearing masks- how sad.

    • @marcoparada6652

      Wearing masks was a ridiculous fad that rode with fears. It served a very miniscule amount of improvement.

    • @mamaof3kids4keets28
      @mamaof3kids4keets28 2 роки тому

      Not odd. The survival rate WITHOUT the vaccine is about 98%. We just have a majority who choose to not live in fear. I am from the area, and enjoy the freedom of not having to wear masks.

      I'm an industrial hygienist (those people who were never consulted by the way about masks even though we train hospitals on proper use of them) and they not only do NOT prevent viruses they are extremely unhealthy to wear for long periods. So glad people have stopped wearing them -they NEVER should have in the first place!
