    With the amounts you mentioned you made monthly, was that only working Saturdays or Saturdays and Sundays? I know on another video you mentioned you didn’t do rentals on Sunday.

      Yes mostly Saturdays and some weekdays I didn’t work sundays.

      Spring and fall are good but winter is dead here in Utah with all the snow.

    Did you have many events with multiple units going out to like churches involving obstacle courses with interactive units or games? Im curious how did you handle delivery or mileage fees? And did you ever do much for mid week specials like rent a day and get a second free as a way to increase rentals? I’m curious because I’m getting started this spring and was considering some of those items.

      Yes I did some events with multiple inflatables. I live in a small town with other small towns in close proximity. I set my delivery price by city and only delivered within 20 miles of my business. It was so busy on weekends I enjoyed the break during the week but I did still get weekday rentals.

    Hi, I am going to be starting a bounce house business this coming summer. A few questions for you. How did your business do during the winter if you primarily had water slides? Did you rent dry slides? Were the dry slides successfull? How do I know how much to charge? I see you sell them now too on your Facebook page. Any insight is appreciated. I will look at what you have to offer and plan to purchase.

      The winter was very slow. Spring and fall I would rent dry slides often. In terms of best bang for your buck. Waterslides take the cake. Waterslides rent most often and make you the most money.

    About to purchase my first one this month and plan to buy one every month going forward. Tired of doing factory work. I don’t mind the hard work it takes to roll and clean em since I’ve had worst. By this time next year with my bonus check I should be able to have at least 20. Realistically with 12-20 here in Alabama and Tn where it gets hot as hell you think I can make six figures? I bring home 50k after taxes right now at my factory job

      I’d recommend getting 5-6 while continuing to work your other job. You can add units every year. Sometimes starting with too many there is not enough demand yet and you won’t rent them all. Every year in business you get more customers and create more and more demand.

    Would you outsource the cleaning of the bounce houses or would you do it yourself?

    • @thehaddocks
      @thehaddocks  6 місяців тому

      I cleaned them myself. I would setup 5-6 at a time to clean them and it was fast.

      Ok! Thank you
      Would you suggest dropping off and picking up same day or next day? I was thinking dropping off and picking up within 2 days.

      You want 18oz pvc vinyl. There are several companies that make good units. I’m not sure of any in Canada. I actually sell them as well. Facebook.com/bouncefestbc
