hi! I'm 5'1.5" and a 32DDD and I have a 37" hip as well. I gain weight in my stomach and I've really packed on pounds during quarantine, and for short people that means a lot because 5 pounds is an entire pant size up for me. I already use most of these tips but I'm definitely interested in learning more! Also definitely interested in a video on what to look for in a good tailor who knows how to take in an oversized blouse to make it fit my bust.

High waisted, any high waisted style while help anyone legs to look longer and made the illusion that you’re taller
I'm 5'1'' and 36G, so I'd love to see a vid about styling for a busty chest!! Personally for my body shape I stay away from drop waist dresses because they make my proportions look weird. I also like to wear a flowy shirt/bigger sweater tucked into a high waisted skirt, or leave it untucked and add a belt. Crop tops are my go-to when I want a shirt that won't have too much extra fabric for my frame :)

It’s so confidence boosting to see someone as beautiful and stylish as you with a similar size to me! I’m 5’2 and a 32 DDD and I feel like I always sook so lumpy and frumpy and my busts take up half of my body. I’d love to know if you have any bra recommendations! I know it’s a bit more personal, but I find it so difficult to find tiny band sized with larger cups.

Loved this video so much, as a fellow 5'1 larger chested lady myself! And I've always thought/said what you mentioned about cropped trousers, it makes it look like my legs are too long for the trousers and hence creates the illusion of being taller!

Do you have any recommendations on where to buy shirts? Or advice. I want something fitted, but as a petite woman, it's hard to find fitted shirts like so. The shoulder lines always seem to go past my shoulder even if the shirt is a size small.

Where is the best store to buy for petite size women?
I am 5"4 hourglass with a big bust and 27 inch inside leg. 34 DD bust. Getting trousers that fit is always difficult for me. If they fit in the hips they are always too big in the waist. Then the leg length grr!!
I would love a video for a busty chest! I'm 5'0 and a size 42 F/G so tips for shirts would be awesome! It feels like to get a size big enough for my chest the arms are super long! Or it is super baggy everywhere else.

For a short torso I usually go for medium rise, and it works soo well. Try it
I know you've done a petite jean try on before, but I think it'd be cool to go through your jeans since some of them are thrifted and compare/ contrast them. Just an idea!

Thanks for this video. I want to say that videos like yours are really important because each person can relate to a particular body size and imagine how it might look on them too. I have to say that even though many people do not like ASOS I do because they offer so many different sizes of the same clothing to take into account so many different body types which the majority of retailers are just not doing.

Hi Jessica! Thank you so much for this! I am petite and enjoy this very much. One tip that I found that elongates me is wearing pointed toe shoes. It makes me look taller. I appreciate this very much. It's hard to find clothes that fit for sure when you're petite. Often times when I find a pair of jeans that fits really well I grab more than one of them because next time they won't be there anymore. I'm always looking for ways to style my outfits so thank you! Thank you for sharing your tips - it has been a lifetime challenge being petite - I used to hate being 5'2". Too big for juniors and not tall enough for women's. Then there's my feet US size 5.5, again, too big for children's sizes and too small for women's. I"m the tortured size in the middle, LOL. Thank you for rescuing me and giving me hope! I have a couple tips too as a 34DDD approaching 60 and sewing my own wardrobe:
Look for tops with bust darts and or waist darts. They are sewn in to make flat fabric conform to a curvy body. This means extra fabric at the bust won't continue down the body and the effect is slimming. Darts can be a sign of a well-made garment since they take extra time when the item is constructed. When you try a shirt on make sure the darts "point" to the fullest part of the bust, not above or below.
Wear silky, drapey fabrics like challis, lightweight cottons, silk and poly blends similar to the one you are wearing in this video. These fabrics will skim the large parts of the body and then drape back in where the body get smaller. Stiff fabrics just hang from the bust, hide the waist and make us look bigger.

I'm 5ft (153cm) and I still remember when I subscribed to this channel exactly for this type of content! I feel so conflicted because aesthetically I do like high-waisted jeans and long/midi dresses. But with the first ones I feel like I can't eat or sit, else I'm so uncomfortable. And with the dresses I feel like they don't suit me :/ which sucks when you're into the cottagecore vibe 😭

I'm loving re-visiting blouses!! I was never more than 34 B and a Size 8 in bottoms until I had kids. Now I'm 38-40 C/D and a Size 14 in bottoms. I am 5'1 1/2' without shoes, 5'2" with them. I used to be an hourglass. Now I guess I'm an apple. Your videos have helped with suggestions. Thank you!!!

Oh my gosh someone that looks like me - with the same skin tone as well! I've struggled so much with styling my petite frame and busty chest so your channel is gold. You look INCREDIBLE in those outfits. Where did you get your leather jacket and what size is it?

5'0, 32-34 E here! With hips for days and a butt. Finding a good fit is almost impossible.
