    You did a great job. We’re you just using water in the spray bottle?

    This turned out beautiful! I'm just wondering fi the flocking effected the brightness of the lights?

      Thank you for the kind words! The flock didn’t affect the dimness, it added a softer glow on the light.

    A flocked tree should have pops of the green( like u said)... Most people flock, too much then it just looks white . I even like it with less than yours... I want to see a little more green. Now I would do a tiny bit glitter.... Tiny, tiny, tiny bit.

    What did you do with the light bulbs? Did you wipe the flocking off so it wouldn’t affect the brightness?

      Great question! The flock adhered to some of the lights and it gave the light a softness that is lovely. However, I didn’t want that look on all the lights and the flock was easy to wipe off on the coating on the lights. They still look bright and beautiful with a handful that have the softness from the flock on them to give it a variety. I hope that makes sense.

    Would this be suitable for outside too? Thank you 😊 x

      Great question! My wreath was outdoors (under a covered patio) and worked great with no issues. I’m not sure how it would hold up with rain elements though so I would use caution.

    Do u think the flock spray will work just as well

      I’ve not used the spray so I can’t give a full comparison. However, when I was researching initially I kept finding that the spray didn’t provide the look that the powder does give. The powder really is lifelike and I’m so glad I went with it. Hope that helps!

      Mine rusted 😢 I was told not to store it in a plastic tote but in a box or wrapped in fabric and kept in a cool dry place. Mine was in my workshop loft which is not climate-controlled. Did you manage to get the rust cleaned up?

      Decor should be easy to add to it and will enhance the look of the garland.

    how many lbs powder would need for a 20 feet garland

    • @MedalsandMagic
      @MedalsandMagic  2 роки тому

      Depends on how flocked you would like it to look. 2 pounds should be plenty of powder for a project that size. Good luck!
