Me and my girlfriend listened to this song while on a bus ride to our home. I have always loved this song. And all the other girls that I had been didn't like or didn't appreciate this song enough. The structure of the song is also such that starts slow and then keeps building up till the peak (main hawa pe dhundu uske nishan). Then it goes into a different beat pattern (Main uske roop ka shehdaai), the energy never dies down. The music, singing and lyrics all have come together to create this masterpiece.
Fun Fact😂:- 2 years ago I faced rejection from my crush which broke my world.I never liked Rahman shaab songs from my childhood because everyone knows, so I don't want to elaborate but it's a slow-poison and you must need a reason & pause to think everything deeply in your mind to listen Rahman. So, in that time all the necessary conditions hit me with the most important ingredient heart-break to understand sufism😂 as A.R's almost every song carries a hidden sufism touch just like some chef's 'secrect masala' to make it heavenly. Starting with Roja I became so much hooked to his music that I used to listen 12-14 hrs. in that phase of depression. Then, I began to decode each every Rahmanian song music-wise and lyrics wise from most famous Roja to hidden gems like 'Water' album😂 including his tamil telegu songs also.So, after coming across to this channel sometimes I feel that I did a lot of extra hard-work while others have gotten this more easily like crash-course through your channel so all my hard-work just wasted 😂.

there was no other song of this kind that released after that..... which says a lot cause nowadays when one beat blows up it creates literally a series of songs based on the same beat.... but this song even though blew up so much.... it was viral before viral was a thing.... is what my father said when i asked him about the song...

Those that hav love for books and words have love for urdu and farsi. For them it's not hard rather it's obvious. Most urdu poets have way more depth than this. And use few words if not just one to show many emotions. I have studied urdu but many who have wanted to become better at it have atleast spend 2 years of extensive reading and understanding to be comfortable with it.

To add another detail, if we look closely, we can also witness the character development of Shahrukh throughout the song. As a matter of fact, Shahrukh representing "Aakal" and Malaika representing "Dil" get to a point where "Aakal" finally realises that it is impossible to search for love when you can only feel it and fall for it endlessly. This is visually highlighted just before midway through the song where the train enters a cave and the red light focuses only on "Dil" and "Aakal". "Dil" singing and getting to reason with "Aakal" with his words and suddenly the latter realises the true beauty lies in experiencing and starts singing with the hymn of "Dil". After this, we hear the powerful realisation of "Aakal" about Love.
