How beautiful football was back then...black boots, jerseys tucked in, excellent movement and tackles......not like today's fools, with their tattoos and idiotic kits, red, green, white shoes, etc....football back then was so much better and of a much higher standard.

Yes it is Diadora. I like more the Germany shirts of 1988 and 1990.
Germany always has the best kits. My least favorite is the one at the 2022 World Cup

I was there watching the game...old Müngersdorfer Stadion. 11 years old then. I still have the ticket.

German squad was clearly stronger but what's missing was a striker like Klinsmann who is good in the air to take some heading opportunities. 1988 when he started playing in the lineup Germany started scoring more goals and dominating the world that led to the WC1990 win.

Gesamt Deutschland gegen Walter Zenga hahaha... war das geil, kann ich mich noch erinnern. Toni Schumacher erst aus der Nationalelf und dem FC Köln geschmissen und dann dieses Länderspiel genau in Köln :) Aber der gute Eike Immel hats überlebt. Damals gabs ja im Müngersdorfstadion noch eine Laufbahn :)
Das gute alte Müngersdorfer Stadion fand ich immer mega-cool! Diese Multifunktionsaren around the world - schrecklich!
