I recently passed my NTN, I highly recommend purchasing the “extended practice tests” it definitely helped for the video scenarios. Take your time and don’t worry about anyone else in the room, you’re there to do one thing, YOUR test. Practice and you’ll do great!
I just took the NTN for the first time and scored pretty high. I went in there thinking it was going to be extremely difficult because all of the horror stories I read in the comments. If you think like a politician rather than a police officer, you will be fine (during the video portion).
At the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to make the jump and apply. However I have smoked weed recreationally the past couple of years so I was going to wait 6 months to a year before I apply. However in California now they can’t terminate you or disqualify you from the process due to past marijuana usage. I’m still worried though that it is going to look bad if they know about it so I’m stuck between just applying and hoping they don’t use it against me (since they technically can’t) and just waiting 6 months so I don’t have a possible DQ on my record if I apply down the road. Please help!! Oh and obviously I have already stopped and will definitely not smoke ever again if it means I get to do the job.
I’ve been trying to pass my pellet b this will be my 3rd time taking it first time scored higher than the second time i just don’t know what to study or how the cloze was hardest to me please help
I have a question sorry if it is on the longer side but, I was previously in the hiring process for an agency and fell out of the process during my background/poly a question that I was asked during my polygraph that was not covered in the online course is if I do sports gambling and how much I have gambled in the last year. I am in a state that allows sportsbetting so it's not a problem but do agencies take into account how much you are gambling and is there a way to go about articulating this answer? Thank you for your help
@@armogantraining7164Well, I have my test in two days. Bought the IOS study guide but every time I take the pre-test I always get a 70% and it worries me that I might not make it with the department I want to go into.
@@armogantraining7164 Well, I have been studying I have the IOS study guide but I feel like it barely helps. I've taken the online practice test. Kept scoring 70%. I have my test in 2 days, and I've been stressing about the test and that, I'm not going to score high.

So articulate that the only gambling you do is legal and it is only ... % of your income. You either do it as just a hobby or professionally.

Does your program help for studying for the chp exam? I have the exam in about a month
Yes we have specific training for California and other study guides that help prepare you.
