@@skyphy Senator Tankerbell. Well, basically whenever Bob Odenkirk would play southern characters, that's the accent he puts on them. Mr Show was where PFT's career began properly.
I know this is aimed at the southern confused lawyers, but we need Brennan's defence lawyer foiled by Zac as well. Then we have the trifecta: The brilliant lawyer, the gumball machine lawyer, and whatever the hell Ross is doing.
Ross is “man with a dual degree in philosophy and abstract mathematics who also miraculously passed the bar. He was born in Baton Rouge but raised in Mississippi.”
I thought about it - Brennan also has a call back to that bit in his last episode, as well as the jacuzzi lawyer, but those Brennan & Zac moments didn't work with these southern-themed solo bits
Nah, he’s referencing a famous philosopher saying if one’s existence is validated by one’s ability to be perceived then are the witnesses not equally liable for the crime having been committed because their perception of it made it real
The whole “I’m just a simple country lawyer” bit is one that everyone seems to know, but hardly anybody knows the actual reference. It was Jimmy Stewart in “Anatomy of a Murder”.
As a North Carolinian I can confirm there’s a small community of Oompa Loompa Landians living out on the Outer Banks, somewhere between where the wild beach horses roam and the golf course only sometimes covered in sand dunes.
Your editing is great, I love the graphic choices it - fits well with make some noise and it unlocks core memories of clip shows and filler shows on vh1 and MTV.
I’ll have Sam know, there are some excellent gumball machines out there, and it can be convenient for people who want to work and also get their degree.
"The very children he longed to saaaaaeeeuuve!"
I feel like it's a reference to something but I don't know what. Any ideas?
I think it's just PFT starting to say 'serve' and aborting halfway through in favour of 'save'
he's pronouncing "serve" in an old timey way, cranking the cartoon southern accent to 11.

the prompt Ross had was just a complicated country lawyer
I love how Ross starts off by saying “See, you can’t trust your eyes alone” and ends on “ok they did it, but isn’t it wrong to look?”
Nah, he’s referencing a famous philosopher saying if one’s existence is validated by one’s ability to be perceived then are the witnesses not equally liable for the crime having been committed because their perception of it made it real

Wow, that's an interesting fact, thx!

If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It’s one of the best courtroom movies ever made.
I thought it was from Senator Sam Ervin during the Watergate Senate Committee?
@@Schadenfreude47
He may have said it then, I’m not sure, but “Anatomy of a Murder” predates that by more than a decade.
@@aaronstark5060 Ah, okay then. Sam Ervin might have just popularised it or brought the phrase back.
I die laughing every time Ross removes his hand from his eyes to show you that his eyes are shut
The lawyers are probably being paid in winks and tickles

There were exactly zero empty seats on the Wonkatania. It was premeditated.
The way Ross pronounces 'simulation' at the end is what always gets me

These new MSN players borrowed from 'After Midnight' are 🔥
I need this to be a DeepBlueInk animation SOOO Badly!
Ross’s Lawyer bit was just pure Atticus Finch.
The more PFT, the better! ❤

Well, now I think victims are responsible for their own cases and also that nothing exists!
"Do we live... in assimilation???"

See, the problem is that Ross made an egregious mistake. It's pronounced "Bark-ley".
BISHOP BERKLEY!
