@@colenexoxo8939 Bless her, she's delusional. Even on the worst Lockdown days, all my staff and I dressed well and looked professional in our Zoom meetings.
60$$?!?!?!?! holy shit, I missed that part. Wow. Also - how are you empowering women & teaching them to love themselves, while also selling them products to hide their face? basically saying, "look how pretty you look when you change how you actually look" 🙄
I thought the same thing. I also am very very skeptical when she says she couldn't buy drug store foundation because of her sensitive skin. There are so many good clean options and have been for several years.
I was stunned by that admission too. I have very sensitive skin and struggle finding skin care and makeup that doesn't make my skin angry. That being said, there are products at a drug store price point that will work for sensitive skin. Saying she needs a $60 foundation is just being a spoiled girl.
I'm agnostic, but sometimes I like to imagine God watching us like we're either a sitcom or The Sims, and every time people use Him for dumb shit like this, he buries his face in his hands and goes _"noooo..."_
Me, too! An angel loses it’s wings each an MLM hun claims God lead them to something MLM-related….🫠 but they get their wings BACK the moment a hun leaves an MLM 🤗 it’s called ✨ balance ✨ lol
It’s highly alarming to hear someone recount such poor financial decisions. If you’re tens of thousands in debt and you know you can’t afford even drugstore makeup, why would you buy a sixty dollar foundation? Regardless of her status as an MLM bossbabe, I can’t help but pity someone who has that lack of judgment.
@@DuckHouse1 exactly. when my parents were first married, my mom had to go to our local grocer and ask to start a charge account ( this was 40 years ago and she didn't do credit cards) to buy food because they had to wait for the next pay day to afford them. from then on, that store had charge accounts. we paid ours weekly and the owner said she was shocked at how little my mom spent on groceries. we used off brand everything and makes was a splurge. I am in a good financial position now, but I buy skincare when it is on sale.
She was crying like she couldn’t feed her kids. I do feel bad that her husband has to deal with that level of financial unawareness from her. I’ve had no money before and makeup wasn’t on my mind at all.
In my country we have an expression "I was running after you for 3 days to tell you how much don't care about you" and that perfectly describes what the hunbot is doing in the 1st clip, half a video where she talks about how much (little?) she doesn't care about all the "haters".
I'm sorry, but I could NOT take her seriously or feel any sort of sympathy for her when she was borderline in tears talking about having to return $60 foundation. That is the perfect example of a rich-person problem. And I can't help but wonder, if her account had less in it than the two makeup items cost, then why did she walk her ass inside Ulta and buy the stuff in the first place?? Her problems are just bad money management and "needing" to use very expensive makeup.
Lol crying..Maybe she saved up for that 60 dollar foundation. She sounds insanely entitled.. You can find a good foundation for cheaper even with sensitive skin?
Same here. I was about to laugh, honestly. Like, she's really crying about not getting some funky ass makeup??? 😒 Mentally, she's mad childish and has poor financial skills. She shouldn't have joined an MLM. She should have learned how to budget better and work on mental growth bc it's clear nothing has changed.
Why would someone go spend $80 on makeup with $0 in their bank account, then act surprised and upset when their account goes into the negatives and they now have to return that item 😭
I have done something similar, but I have Attention Deficit Disorder and keep forgetting shopping trips I've taken and used the money I think is in my bank account during. So I also am aware that if it didn't decline, she has courtesy pay, which comes with it's own fee (my bank is $30.) So it was either a $80 WITH the fee or it was MORE then $80 she owed. Also telling that she said she was upset how it was being put on her husband's shoulders...he was the primary breadwinner and she felt bad for sending the account into the negative, she probably never checks it before shopping. Embarrassing but the fact she at least _pretended_ to cry over it and said "no I was in the car I had just had heart surgery" makes me think she jazzed the story up because she hasn't had any real rough moments in her life concerning money. If she had heart surgery, why wasn't her experience after that (bills, needing help recovering, her husband having to worry while he was at work, etc etc) for her sob story? Also there already are good drugstore/cheaper brands for people with sensitive skins, you don't need to go to ULTA. Some of them aren't advertised as such but they work with sensitive skin, just poke around on the internet and see what others say.
clip 1: she hits all the spots in the mlm rep bingo board. faith manipulation, using the pandemic, income claims, "abundance" mindset, i used to hate mlms, the whole nine yards
So someone preyed on her after she had HEART SURGERY and was in $60k in debt? That's deplorable. Yes, she's also part of the problem and she's preying on other people, but she was preyed on while recovering from literal surgery too.
I was getting a facial the other day and told the girl I use Farmacy (a legit and wonderful skincare brand) and she was kinda weird about it and I thought “hmm, maybe she’s just never heard of it.” But I now realize she probably thought I meant Farmasi and thought I use some garbage pyramid scheme product on my face and now my day is ruined. 😭😂🤦🏼♀️ How did they get away with calling it the SAME NAME but just changing the last two letters????
Farmacy's full name is Farmacy Beauty. They focus on Skincare. Farmasi is just Farmasi. They focus on Beauty and Makeup. That's how. It could be argued that it creates confusion, but it hasn't been litigated in court
I can't speak for everyone, but most people who "hate on" these women do no actually hate them. I know for me personally, I hate to see women being taken advantage of and I want better for them. We are not haters, we're not jealous, we're not bullies. It's called informing people and holding them accountable.
Something I just realized: the same way cold messaging is off-putting to you when an MLM rep is trying to sell something or get you to join their MLM, cold messaging reps with a radically opposing opinion to their own invokes the same reaction in them. Cold messaging isn't affective and is terrible regardless of which side of the fence you're on.
Totally agree!! Messaging people out of the blue is soooo ineffective and just doesn’t help anything. In fact, it usually does the opposite and pushes people further into what they think is the only supportive, safe space they have. Their MLM. Even worse, it can prompt videos like this which just further brainwashes their followers. And prepares them for a message they may get one day, and ensures they’ll be totally closed off to the message. I wish people would stop doing this 😞
Her emotions seem authentic and I acknowledge that to her, returning makeup was apparently traumatic but I hope she gets some perspective. I've had to return basic groceries before because my account zero'd out and I still had bills/debt to pay and even in that moment I was privileged in being able to keep the groceries I didnt return. I had food that week and not everyone can say that. I bet there's people in her downline less lucky. I wish for her the understanding of the financial consequences her success has on those lower in her company.
Thank you! That’s what I’m saying! Exactly. I’ve had to put groceries back while at the till when I didn’t have enough $$ and had a whole line of people behind me. Oh and I had my child with me It was one of my most embarrassing moments honestly. I won’t ever let that happen again if I can help it So sorry you went through something similar. Hope you and your family are doing well !
This is the biggest thing (imo) these young women do not consider - and possibly the most valuable life advice ever that I learned from my HS Economics teacher almost 20 years ago, "there's no such thing as a free lunch!" To me, it is delusional to think that because you WANT to stay home, you WANT to make alllllll this money by being on social media on your cell phone - that you somehow deserve all this when you've done next to nothing, you haven't gotten out of your pjs or looked up from your phone....literally nothing to deserve it. you say you always refer to teaching because it's your background, I always refer to nursing as it's mine, both of us empower people, we help people, we teach, people trust us literally with their lives/children. and on top of all of that - a new graduate nurses salary is a lot more than their "gold status" that only a very small % of the company makes... People like you and I also had dreams of financial freedom (or at least comfort), new cars, vacations, a beautiful homes, etc. but we knew we had to go through years of hard work, endless studying, missing important events, unpaid internships, until we could reep the rewards of our hard work and determination. Because we knew there was no such thing as a free lunch.
@@bangervlogs8751 Thank you! And thank you for sharing your similar experience. You sound like an amazingly strong person and a wonderful mom! I hope you never have to make that decision again and I wish you and your family the best ♥️ This last remark is gonna be a little petty but at least we can say that our experience gave us more empathy for others instead of what it apparently gave her (i,e: ammunition to use the retelling of said experience to manipulate financially desperate people from the tippy top of an MLM scheme 👌). Proud of us for that 😂
Cults work the same way. The easiest person to get to join a cult is someone who swears up and down that they'd never join a cult. Someone totally confident that they're too smart to fall for it.
As a senior member of my field who’s been in it for 25+ years, I spend a lot of time talking with young female grad students and recent grads. I want them to know this field is now better (in terms of more diversity), but it’s still a field for workaholics, and they should learn early to set boundaries and figure out what work-life balances they want. I talk to them about salary negotiations, career plans, dealing with old-fashioned professionals, you name it. I help these women develop more abundant careers and lives for themselves, for free, and I do it with nothing expected in return. What I would like to know is if the woman in this video has ever done ANYTHING to support a woman if it did not also benefit her financially. That’s what I want someone to ask her live - “Have you ever helped a woman into this career field without it benefiting you financially?” I think I know the answer.
You…. Are a queen. Making a difference in a recent grada life and giving them realistic expectations? Such a generous thing. Salary negotiation? Career plans? Girl… HR is probably not your field but damn… can I watch?🤣
I thought the exact same thing! I could be gullible, but the first young lady seemed genuinely interested in helping people. There's endless volunteering opportunities in every town/city in this country. have at it gf!
This is a golden comment!! 💫😇🙏🏾 we know why the Huns don’t ever open themselves up to live questioning from “the opposition” aka those coming with rational truth, logical facts, and strong arguments
Its interesting how all supposedly "male dominated" fields really just boil down to willingness to overwork. Ive long shouted from the rooftops that the only reason women don't work in STEM fields is because they don't want to. Im a chemist and there was never any sexism in sight.
As a Christian her use of God in this context disgusts me. Thank you for exposing the truth about these companies! I hate how many lives they've destroyed!
I was shocked when she said those things. Pretty sure God did not mean that kind of abundance. Abundant love yes. Isn't there a whole parable on not living luxuriously
Also a Christian and I was so irritated listening to her. "God doesn't want us to live a life of struggle" as if Job and Paul didn't suffer every day. "God wants us to live an abundant life!" as if the book of Matthew doesn't tell us to give away all our belongings. These people who try to use God to join this business are icky.
Has she read the Bible? Sure, there are blessings…. But the Bible does not say we will live an easy life with no struggles. The faith manipulation just gets to me. Love your channel. You always make such great comments and points.
Right?? MLM companies go against so many biblical principles and teachings it isn’t even funny! These people seriously have no clue what they are talking about. Prosperity gospel at its finest.
This felt crazy as someone who has read the bible. There's a whole story or several of people struggling. Of people having faith despite their struggle. And to live simply.
I recently read an entire book about Christian martyrs where the point was that it can be religiously dutiful to suffer as Jesus suffered. I mean I'm agnostic so idk about its legitimacy, but it seemed pretty adamant on sending the message that godliness can be found through suffering, as opposed to utopian abundance and happiness...
Crying because you had to return makeup you bought that you couldn’t afford, knowing you had 60k in debt, is SUCH privilege. What a brat. She needed financial consulting, not a scam.
Right?? And according to her, it wasn't even her fun money, it was "a burden on husband's shoulders." Could she really not live without makeup, a LUXURY item, for a couple of months??? Such bad prioritizing.
This was literally my thought the moment she said that. "60k in debt and you bought $80 in makeup and put your account in the negative." Oh no. Nononoooooo. While i understand she said she'd just had heart surgery and probably wanted a pick-me-up, to enjoy a moment, you still need to be responsible financially.
The first woman… ugh. What a snob thinking that if makeup isn’t expensive it’s not worth it. 🙄 And then the reg flags! 🚩🚩🚩🚩 The income claims. The sob story. The manipulation is strong with that one.
Incredibly toxic person. MLM-reps have a tendency to be very religious, so it’s especially toxic that she uses so much religious manipulation to play on your deepest beliefs. It’s an unfortunate fact that religious people usually are very trusting, and thus more easily buy in to what she’s claiming. No questioning how reasonable her claims are, what are the facts?
I loves when Zeke meowed in disagreement about this video’s false income claims. 😂 I love your cats making cameos. Thank you again for your content, I love it!
I believe a media outlet or large Corporation will be reaching out to Hannah to be a spokesperson or something. Hannah’s camera presence and voice are 👌🏽
That coral/scarlet color is great on blondes! Fellow blondie here, but I'm typically a little intimidated by bright colors in my wardrobe and found this one looks very nice on me.
Her: I had to return the makeup cause we couldn’t afford it, we weren’t going to get paid for another two days Me: then why did you buy it?! You couldn’t wait the two days? Lmao
And why it have to be a 60 dollars fundation tough...like many drugstore make up are just as good for sensitive skin also she can do without is not like groceries or something 😅
I just listened to this girl cry cause she had to return her makeup. CRY!!! Are you kidding me!? In summer 2020 my husband had emergency open heart surgery to save his life and it failed 7 months later and I can tell that story without crying. She’s so fake!! So so fake, crying for clicks and money.
I had the same unimpressed expression on my face as you did when the lady in the first clip started to bring religion into it. Nothing annoys me more than pandering to someone's faith to sell crap.
I also feel that way. It is so shallow and really shows that she has no idea what her religion actually teaches. Capitalism is their religion, not Christianity. ~this is coming from an ex Catholic turned pagan
I got pretty emotional when she was talking about having to return things to ulta to get her account out of the red. When I was a broke college student, I remember having to call the county to ask if I could get an extension on a speeding ticket because I had to wait for my tax return to come in before I could pay. If they had said no, I would not have been able to buy groceries. Luckily my situation was temporary, as I graduated and got a job. (I recognize that I was extremely privileged to receive an education.) I could not even imagine having to deal with the stress of living paycheck to paycheck like that girl had done her whole life. It devastates me that she was taken advantage of by an MLM. And the MLM has tricked her into using her compelling story to bait other vulnerable people into the scheme.
There is truly nothing more embarrassing than your card being declined, and it's literally happened to all of us. I remember it happening @ the grocery store, with a line behind me of course, & playing the whole, "omg I'm so sorry, I'm such an idiot! this is my expired card! the new one literally just came in the mail & I must've left it @ home after calling to activate it today!" It definitely lightened the humiliation.
I just wanted to jump on as a fellow cat lover that sometimes when an otherwise standoffish cat starts being cuddly and needy they might be feeling bad or at they at least know something is wrong... I know that happened with my kitty and she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidsm- nothing too serious but she did need to see a vet and get on medication. Something to think about. Love your channel!
My cat is the same way. Back in December he cuddled with me on the couch. I told my husband that he must not be feeling well and that he was probably getting sick. Literally the next day he started having all the symptoms of a bad UTI. Since UTI's have the same symptoms as Stones and since stones are life threatening, we took him to the Emergency Pet Services place (it was a weekend) where they diagnosed him with struvite crystal build up. It required a life long diet change to manage his crystals. It's definitely worth getting a check up and blood work done if your kitty isn't behaving as he normally would.
Even blurred you can tell the makeup is very concentrated in areas. Not the best look. The best makeup application is when you can barely tell someone is wearing it and they look great.
If I only made $80/week I would be on the streets. I would love to see a video on the fact that many of these huns are leading rather privileged lives and have spouses that already pay all of their bills and therefore have no need for a second income making them able to treat it as a hobby.
I have sensitive skin, too and I have no trouble finding appropriate makeup and skin care products in my local small town pharmacy. I knew for sure that her story was bs when she said that's why she can't use drug store products.
There's a big difference between can't & don't want to! She wouldn't garner enough sympathy by saying she just likes high-end products. I liked the way she slipped in that she was recovering from surgery. She was really trying to pull the heartstrings there! It's hard for me to feel sorry for her when she's trying every manipulation tactic in the book here.
@@squenneville1 , thing is, these mlm products are way overpriced but, qualitywise, they are similar or worse than most drug store brands. So it's more that she is paying champagne prices for beer.😂
When she was crying, saying returning, it was her lowest point. I was like damn okay, so your life clearly isn't that bad if that's the lowest point. We have people out here having cars repossessed, houses foreclosed, but she's pressed over returning makeup.
Love how you don’t talk about peoples appearances, just about the context! Had another channel recommended so i decided to try them out. A few minutes in the person was just making fun of the girl in the video (her appearance/hair/etc), not even talking about the company or fact checking. I didn’t make it 5 minutes in before i turned it off. So thank you for doing what you do and not making fun of the person/talking down/shaming them. It makes for such better content!
I do have to say this though- with that first woman, if you're selling makeup, you need to to a LOT better job of learning to use it. Even with her face blurred you could see she wasn't skilled in skin matching nor blending or even just anything. If anything, blurring should have made for a more even, or at least better transitioned, skin tone. Not bright white rings around her eyes and red face and forehead. They shouldn't even be selling a color that white for either concealer or foundation because even for my redheaded child that would be too white.
Another thing about the first clip that rubs me the wrong way is how she’s bragging she can show women they’re meant to be “more” than a mom, wife, grandma, etc - okay, so, nobody’s getting purpose and satisfaction from the important relationships in their lives? That’s the assumption she’s operating under. I get so much joy and satisfaction just from being a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend - and if someone told me that isn’t enough to make me a worthwhile person, that it doesn’t count because I’m not also a “boss babe,” I’d be right pissed.
I hated that part so much. My mom has always been a stay-at-home mom and she told me the one thing she did not like about it was how other women made comments about her being “just a mom”. She actively chose not to have a career, which she could have had, because this was what she wanted. Yet, there were people telling her she should want to”more” or couldn’t believe she was happy.
25:33 _"Okay but that's_ *weird."* THANK YOU! People's personal lives are generally kept separate from their jobs for a reason, to prevent from exploitation or favoritism etc. We see time and again the Huns use personal information as a weapon to abuse their downline, they literally are the example of why normal jobs don't do that!
It is really, REALLY unfortunate that there is a totally legitimate skincare company whose name is also a play on the word Pharmacy. I get them confused constantly.
Wow, not her shaming people for buying drugstore makeup just like the person who shamed her for the makeup she's selling through an MLM -- you know, the whole reason she made the video. 👀 🙄
The difference is... when I rave about drugstore makeup (Been ride or die with Nyx and wet n wild for years 🤷🏾♀️) I’m not manipulating people into cult-like financial and emotional abuse
@@queentrinicorn9441 totally agree with you. I was just pointing out how hypocritical she was being. And honestly, my NYX concealer and brow gel are two of my ride or dies, just like my Wet n Wild highlighter and eyeshadow palette.
Okay I'm an old man. My wife was the center of my life. Any greatness she achieved made me SO happy. And she felt the same for me. We would Never take advantage of others. We saw so many mlm's in the 1980s . It was so incredible. It's still the same lie's different stuff. I'm almost sorry f I'm sorry for her until I see the damage they do
Yes. Power implies others without power. Its a weird word to start with. Empowerment is someone else giving you the authority to do something. Like a King allowing a Duke to attend a royal event in his place.
I despise this prosperity theology that says God calls you to live a life of abundance: material abundance. Struggle can produce spiritual strength and she is denigrating the positives that can come out of struggle. This entire outlook that having a "good" life is a blessing from God implies that people who don't have the "good" life are being punished by God. And it's even more frustrating when you realize many of these "good" lives are fake and curated to give the impression to others that someone's life is so great.
I understand makeup being part of someone’s identity. But this woman was crying like she had to return groceries or had her car repossessed. Sweetie, it’s not that serious…
I get that not being able to afford the makeup is just one more reminder of the crippling debt she's in through no fault of her own. But she seriously couldn't come up with a more relatable way that her debt affected her life?
She said, "If I can make a woman feel beautiful and confident..." Look lady, you are not that powerful. Nobody can make a person feel that way EXCEPT FOR THAT PERSON. Her self-importance is appalling.
I think Zeke is picking up your filming routine! He knows when you’re sitting there you’re still and your voice is really soothing while you talk so he’s starting to get comfy hanging out with you while you’re filming. It’s so sweet😭😭😭
I used to be in several MLM’s but am now a critic of the industry. Love your videos! P.S. I know some in both these MLM’s: Farmasi and Monat. You only make money in an MLM if you have a humongous downline which is almost impossible to achieve. You have to spend money and you never really make a profit because it’s not possible with all you have to spend to sustain your “business.”
When I used to be in an MLM, my direct upline would constantly (and still does on her FB page) post her BONUS checks that were always over $5k saying this was just the icing on her monthly check. Honestly that was how I first got hooked. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth every time I see her posts. She has the second best selling team in Canada. She's killing it honestly but makes it seem like anyone can do it, when thats just not the reality.
Also, life of abundance at the expense of others is so disgusting. Why is she crying about expensive make up. There's good affordable brands out there. Nobody has sympathy for someone crying over their account being overdrawn to buy fancy, expensive make up. It's not freaking food!
Right and if you are living paycheck to paycheck, why in the world are you out shopping for make-up? Again I have very little sympathy for someone who is upset they can't afford $70 Worth of make up. Especially if you know you can't afford it.

I know I have hit a nerve when I ask enough, fair questions that they end up replying with a "Find out for yourself." or no response at all. My questions: 1. How many down lines do you have & how many make at least $30k/yr? 2. How long did it take them to get there? 3. How many distributors work in our zipcode/city/area? 4. What % of YOUR income comes from the selling the product to customers who are not also distributors. 5. Can I sell product without buying it 1st? 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗
My friend's cat wouldn't leave my side or stop meowing when I was pregnant and staying at her place. It was super annoying because she not only wouldn't shut up at all but was also at least part Siamese and had gotten not just the Siamese coat but also the VOICE of one. If you don't know, Siamese cats are extremely vocal already. This one talked like a teenager on the phone- nonstop and rapid fire. Even when I was trying to sleep. Before I'd gotten pregnant, that cat had no time for me at all. After, she was like a magnet, even sitting outside the shower while I was in there. Sounds adorable right? It was for about a week.
I have to say I notice a constant statement MLMs make “find you’re worth” or “I found my purpose in (blank) ” as a stay at home mom it comes across as so insulting because it insinuates that to them it isn’t valued at all to chose to be a stay at home mom and you should be doing more as if it’s not enough. I understand that some women don’t want to be a house wife or don’t have the luxury to be able to stay home, but i have yet to watch an MLM hun not mention how they found their worth and purpose in a company.. that just seems so depressing. Maybe I’m the only one. Any way as always you made so many great points and I have to say I absolutely love your content!! I love listening to you while cleaning and cooking keep up this great content! 💕
speaking of faith manipulation: a favourite trope in fundamentalist circles is 'i used to be an atheist but then i was saved!' this 'i used to be anti mlm but now i'm all for it' has the exact same energy not surprising considering how many huns use religious language in their pitches.
Exactly! A lot of the time they believe that an atheist is someone who is mad at god and “not believing” out of spite. Their minds are so centred around the church that they cannot comprehend that you cannot be mad at the void. I don’t put much anger out on mythological creatures so how is it different? Feeling resentment towards the world and the pain and suffering it causes doesn’t have to centre around any divinity. I find so many connections around the church/faith in God and MLMs. Evangelising, prosperity gospel, toxic positivity, joining for community, joining mostly at vulnerable moments in life, the need to infiltrate every aspect of life, attributing all success to it- failure is your doing and not “believing”, having a bad experience is because you were just in the wrong church/sect/didn’t have enough faith. There are so many connections that I cannot go into and it’s a delicate topic, but a lot of it centres around uplifting faith above all else. There is a reason why there are so many MLMs centred around the Christian faith- their ideals often lift one another. I find it frustrating having this discussion because a lot of it falls into the “no-true-Scotsman” defence and accusing one another of “misinterpreting” and “cherry picking” the truth as if they have more knowledge and authority on the matter. In reality, if the truth were clear there wouldn’t be so many debates, sects, rewritings, translations, etc.
There is no way a hun could watch any of your videos and not finally snap out of it. You explain the most important facts of every situation! So impressive.
You have easily become one of my favorite antimlm creators. You are kind and genuine while also calling out the facts and truth. Thank you for doing this important work while staying classy! ✌️💜 also your top is so cute!!
I employ four people and while I care about them, what they do in their spare time is none of my damn business. To snoop into their lives would be an unbelievable invasion of their privacy.
80 dollars a week divided by 20 hours is 4 dollars an hour if you are doing "part time work." Just because you are receiving a paycheck doesn't mean you are "making money."
I don’t know how you ended up in my feed but I have to say you are so polished, natural, well spoken and articulate! It’s wonderful and educational to watch you. I am well aware of MLM‘s as I am a 50 something-year-old. Due to health reasons I’ve been looking at an online course with Sophie Howard’s Kindle Publishing Income program. Have you heard anything about this? I would really appreciate if you have anything on it if you could direct me to it. Bless you for doing such an honourable craft!🇨🇦
Just saw this video and have a theory about Zeke - Was this around the time you found out you were pregnant? My dog knew before I did with both of my kids. She started putting her head in my lap for the first time ever and it was odd. A week or so later I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Same thing with my second child - The dog head in my lap made me go buy a pregnancy test and yep - It was positive!

That being said, there are products at a drug store price point that will work for sensitive skin. Saying she needs a $60 foundation is just being a spoiled girl.
Bingo. I make plenty of money.and wear Wet n wild foundation..that photo focus is Great
Was going to say this.. She wanted us to feel sympathy like those who can't buy food..
Someone said MLM means "make life miserable". I totally agree.

As a Christian myself, I die a little inside every time someone says that God told them to join an MLM.

That was my thought!!! Makeup is not a necessity!!!!
Right? She's crying like she couldn't afford food.
Seriously. She was crying over an expensive makeup. She could still afford makeup, just not a $60 bottle
"It's not just about selling makeup and skincare" BUT IT SHOULD BE
It IS just makeup and skincare.
@@perryegolson833 nah its an "opportunity" mindset cult
In my country we have an expression "I was running after you for 3 days to tell you how much don't care about you" and that perfectly describes what the hunbot is doing in the 1st clip, half a video where she talks about how much (little?) she doesn't care about all the "haters".
That sounds good, what is your Country?

I’m not broke but I have a broke mentality and I would never buy a $60 dollar foundation
Why would someone go spend $80 on makeup with $0 in their bank account, then act surprised and upset when their account goes into the negatives and they now have to return that item 😭
Probably can’t balance her check book. Has no idea how much she has
Can you even return makeup?
@@emmestein Yes, but generally only if it's unopened, or if it's defective - but then you'll usually only get store credit or a replacement.
That's why she thinks MLM is a good financial decision. She has no clue
"I was tired of being that 'just enough' girl" - 30 seconds later - "Ugh I love expensive makeup"
clip 1: she hits all the spots in the mlm rep bingo board. faith manipulation, using the pandemic, income claims, "abundance" mindset, i used to hate mlms, the whole nine yards
So someone preyed on her after she had HEART SURGERY and was in $60k in debt? That's deplorable.
Yes, she's also part of the problem and she's preying on other people, but she was preyed on while recovering from literal surgery too.
Absolutely, people who prey on others in MLMs were once preyed upon themselves 😕
That's how. It could be argued that it creates confusion, but it hasn't been litigated in court
nooooo
I’ve never heard of either, but not even of the one available in stores!
Every time I tell someone about my face wash and moisturizer I give the disclaimer “NOT the mlm Farmasi”
That's a really good point!
Oh and I had my child with me
It was one of my most embarrassing moments honestly. I won’t ever let that happen again if I can help it
So sorry you went through something similar. Hope you and your family are doing well !
This is the biggest thing (imo) these young women do not consider - and possibly the most valuable life advice ever that I learned from my HS Economics teacher almost 20 years ago,
"there's no such thing as a free lunch!"
To me, it is delusional to think that because you WANT to stay home, you WANT to make alllllll this money by being on social media on your cell phone - that you somehow deserve all this when you've done next to nothing, you haven't gotten out of your pjs or looked up from your phone....literally nothing to deserve it.
you say you always refer to teaching because it's your background, I always refer to nursing as it's mine, both of us empower people, we help people, we teach, people trust us literally with their lives/children. and on top of all of that - a new graduate nurses salary is a lot more than their "gold status" that only a very small % of the company makes...

I’m stuck on the Hun crying about returning makeup because it overdraft her account and she didn’t even return it her mom did….. just wow
I’m sorry but I’ve been broke before & best believe I wasn’t thinking about buying expensive makeup at that time 🤦🏽♀️
As a Christian her use of God in this context disgusts me. Thank you for exposing the truth about these companies! I hate how many lives they've destroyed!
I agree with you, it makes me so upset.
I was shocked when she said those things. Pretty sure God did not mean that kind of abundance. Abundant love yes. Isn't there a whole parable on not living luxuriously
Nice use of the widely discredited “prosperity gospel”.
I'm not even religious, but I was raised with religion and I find the faith manipulation horrifying.
She is a Christian so I doubt she has read the Bible other than the parts that are convenient.
I was going to say the same. I might not be practicing anymore but catholic teaching anyway always preach a life of simple non material things
Truth 😂😂
To be fair, plenty of people have significant debt they're responsibly paying off and still have enough for fun money.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Right?? And according to her, it wasn't even her fun money, it was "a burden on husband's shoulders." Could she really not live without makeup, a LUXURY item, for a couple of months??? Such bad prioritizing.
This was literally my thought the moment she said that. "60k in debt and you bought $80 in makeup and put your account in the negative."
Oh no. Nononoooooo. While i understand she said she'd just had heart surgery and probably wanted a pick-me-up, to enjoy a moment, you still need to be responsible financially.
The first woman… ugh. What a snob thinking that if makeup isn’t expensive it’s not worth it. 🙄
And then the reg flags! 🚩🚩🚩🚩
The income claims. The sob story. The manipulation is strong with that one.
I'm here for the Star Wars humor, Kristy. 😄

Buying makeup is a Want NOT a Need...smh
Because being in an MLM is like chasing your tail.
It was a make-up emergency!!!
And why it have to be a 60 dollars fundation tough...like many drugstore make up are just as good for sensitive skin also she can do without is not like groceries or something 😅
Lol, implying that $14 cc cream is either nasty or a unicorn tells me she knows nothing about makeup or wants to sell this stuff badly.
I hope your husband is okay!🙏🏾
MLM's; the only job where part of your job duties is defending your job.
I agree. I think a lot of people watching that could relate to that story on one level or another. That’s what makes it so predatory 💔
Like how many people are having their accounts go into the red BECAUSE of their MLM?
If the most embarrassing experience of her life is having her mom return some makeup, that's a pretty awesome life
I just wanted to jump on as a fellow cat lover that sometimes when an otherwise standoffish cat starts being cuddly and needy they might be feeling bad or at they at least know something is wrong... I know that happened with my kitty and she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidsm- nothing too serious but she did need to see a vet and get on medication. Something to think about. Love your channel!
Scrolled down to see if someone commented this! Zeke might need a checkup and some bloodwork done to make sure he's feeling okay
🤣 CRYING at having to return overpriced makeup??? Omg.
Can we say, first world problems?

Girl, you’re making the rest of us look bad.

I am so deeply invested in Zeke's storyline.

Empowering women could also be selling their crafts on Etsy or at local markets! Like the arguements are so convoluted.

I loved how much Zeke was contributing to today's upload!
That first woman though. Says she can’t scroll without seeing people clapping back at their haters, then proceeds to clap back at the “haters.” 🙄
Ok, but Zeke's little head popping up at 21:00 was just too adorable
25:33 _"Okay but that's_ *weird."*
THANK YOU!
My point... one of these behaviors needs to be shamed and it’s not mine lmfao 🤣 🤦🏾♀️

That’s so sweet! ☺️
"Only 1% of women get to be empowered at the expense of the other 99?" yes yes yes yes! So accurate!
I've had to return items before - pushing this type of manipulation is gross
The cat content in this one? Prime. I hope he continues to be this snuggly!! The sweetest boy!
I've started getting MLM ads before your videos now. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
“I will always be simple minded” She’s the one who said it… 🤣🤣
here's a thought: if make up is expensive, don't wear it every day and just wear it for special occasions.
I LOVE how Hanna catches EVERYTHING and can debunk the heck out of these HUNS. 80$ is definitely not my phone bill . Lol
@@rings90 I know!
Exactly!
You can even get some awesome drugstore makeup and more for free if you put a little bit effort into couponing.
@@trickedbykathycat5250 peoplewho can't manage a bank account with 200.00 can't handle a bank account with $200,000. Seems to me their priorities are backwards.
Always appreciate your thoughtful, intelligent and articulate views on this subject. You are absolutely a class act. Thank you. 💜💛❤
I know I have hit a nerve when I ask enough, fair questions that they end up replying with a "Find out for yourself." or no response at all.
My questions:

Zeke keeps looking up at you like “I missed Mama so much”, and it’s adorable.
I wish buying make up was my biggest worry in life 🤦🏻♀️
The kitty commentary is top notch! 😻
Did Zeke predict the pregnancy? Maybe that’s why he was so cuddly 😂
Omg I am just watching all older videos and I had the same thought. Cats 100% feel pregnancies.
As a Christian it makes me cringe so hard when people bring God into these things. Like just stop. God does not want you to scam anyone. Ugh
In Norway, the least paid job as a 18 year old without anything other than high school education can get 80 bucks a week in 4 hours of work.
speaking of faith manipulation: a favourite trope in fundamentalist circles is 'i used to be an atheist but then i was saved!'
this 'i used to be anti mlm but now i'm all for it' has the exact same energy
not surprising considering how many huns use religious language in their pitches.
Saul to Paul is evergreen as far as the outsider to insider example goes. 💁🏾♂️💡
There is no way a hun could watch any of your videos and not finally snap out of it. You explain the most important facts of every situation! So impressive.
Love your videos so much! Been binge watching the last few days. Your humor and sass makes me laugh, which I really appreciate in my life right now ❤️
These videos have made me love and appreciate my 9 to 5 job and I'm thankful
You have easily become one of my favorite antimlm creators. You are kind and genuine while also calling out the facts and truth. Thank you for doing this important work while staying classy! ✌️💜 also your top is so cute!!
I know she meant she’s okay with having a simple life, but I couldn’t help but laugh when she called herself simple minded.
Wow that bright color looks _AMAZING_ on you!
Aw thank you!
I agree. Possibly a wig, my daughter says it looks like a wig not natural
clip 2: i must say, really love that breakdown of the video tricks to make the income claim legitimate/alluring
Oh no, those kindle/audible publishing courses are all scams!!! I really REALLY hope you didn’t fall for it.
As someone who is a Christian,
It makes me angry when these women bring in their faith in a very misleading way.
Jesus (God) never promised us wealth.
