@@CrazySkindogKarting I'm glad you like it, I'm still not 100% happy with that, but it's getting better, I've stopped scripting what I want to say and go with it now but sometimes it sounds too long for what I'm trying to get across lol
@@LearnToRace yeah, the commentary is an art for sure!! I generally have a few notes of key points, but forget to look at them when I'm recording the audio 😅 I kinda play it over in my head a few times so I know kind of what I'm gonna say, but definitely got some improving to do myself as well!
@@CrazySkindogKarting that's exactly what I do now, I used to script it but I can't make it sound like anything or than I'm reading it haha I'm just at my local teamsport now for a spur of the moment free race with my loyalty points

I only have one hand from birth, but I tried karting at the teamsport Watford last night and upset a few regulars with 2nd in first session and I got nearly 4 seconds quicker in second session to win fastest and most laps along with the regular behind me.. who also hopped in MY car after the first session lol.. I'm still buzzing from the race especially after winning with over 5 stone heavier than the regular in 2nd 👌🏻 I was told 57 seconds was very good for a first timer, my print out shows 56, booked to try it again already, over taking was brilliant, thanks to the guys there, very understanding because otherwise I'd got black flagged every lap for driving one handed lol!

Must b really hard with 1 hand bro. The steering wheels on the karts in Warrington r so stiff. My sister also was born with 1 hand, its actually her 30th birthday 2day, shes a silver medalist from the 2021 paralympics in Tokoyo in Teakwondo. Shes an absolute inspiration

It’s so weird seeing this track from the perspective of someone else instead of driving myself
I’m a frequenter at this track and have done a 50 lap race before, at least 49 laps of one I was lapped somewhere along the line.
Really good driving, checking the rear before taking certain lines that can squish other karters into the wall, that kind of awareness creates clean racing, and I don’t really see much of that around Notts… or Dunstable.
The outside line is much quicker and gives a much better exit on the right left after the flat right hander down the ramp. but if some one takes the inside line they always run you into the tyres , great track overall the last corner is a overtaking corner
I love this track, probably the best indoor I've been to in the UK. My best is a low 34

Once I was go carting at Teamsports Bradford and there was just like 3 people go slow after like 10-15 seconds after the flashing yellow light turned into a green one.
Nice one, next step get on some grid members events. No noobs or back markers just pure racing.

It's fun track, I'm yet to make it to Liverpool or Bristol though

I enjoy watching the KArt Tracks from team Sport. hey just opened one here in Germany in Mönchengladbach (my home) and I go there like every week. Sadly no Race is possible due to the small Tack and small overtake Chances. Its Time based Positioning.
I'm hoping I can get over to that track sometime, hopefully I can get teamsport to invite me over haha
@@LearnToRace Its still new, just opened 6 Month ago. But they planned on doing Events like Races and Championships in the Future.. currently its pretty quiet over there and mostly only on Saturdays everything is booked out.
Hey great video! I know you’ve recently been to the Sheffield teamsport but you should try their full length track I think you’d really enjoy it and the staff there are really friendly!
Well I just booked a Saturday session there and all they had running was the half length LeMans layout, how do you choose which layout you get or is it a case of what they decide on the day?
@@LearnToRace usually the layout used is the full sized one, I believe they only use the shortened circuit if there’s a lack of staff but it’s best to ring in advance to check. For all members events and the 50 lap sessions are all done in the full track and I’d say 90% of the normal sessions are done on the full length track mostly though

Typically the international layout is used on friday , Saturday, sunday

No sure, full price is £50pp but at the moment they have 10% off so £45, as I'm a member I got a further 15% off so in total I paid £37.50 which is very good value for money I think

Yeah this is a fun track, must go back soon, I have a chin mount for the GoPro so sits at the bottom of my helmet

I paid for a head cam last time I went but didn’t get one clean lap in 45 minutes
I caught traffic or got a yellow on every lap
Was 2 seconds off my best lap it was that bad lol
I wouldn’t have minded if I hadn’t paid for the camera but I was fuming 😂
Looking back there was loads of overtaking but the pace was so slow

I’ve done Leeds and I’m doing Bradford in 5 days
How much difference does weight make. I'm 16 stone 8. Been here twice now and I can't seem to go faster that 36 seconds.
In US they say average 25 lbs difference to about .1 second if talent level is equal. So checking the crossover looks like a stone if 14 lbs. So every 1 stone 11 is equates to about 1/10th a second. Again this is track and talent dependent but mostly the rule of thumb.
Nottingham done "I will return". Liverpool next end of this month.

He didn't really 'bottle it,' I would argue. Huge misfortune with that yellow flag where the driver in P2 closed the gap almost entirely. Not really his fault.

Ur a good karter by the looks of things. You should come down to teamsport harlow and we can have a good race. I’m 8th fastest ever and you seem like you know ur way around a track. However by the looks of things you live up north so might be difficult

It depends on the amount of yellow or red flags, this one took 35minutes, will you be doing it at this track? If not you'll have to see what the lap time is around the track you wanna do it at

@@alfiesharp3622 nice, it'll be a good way to learn the track tbh, the corner after the down ramp be careful though, it's very slippy, you don't need to brake but don't take it flat
Biggest problem I have with TeamSport is that make a big song and dance about safety and that they will remove unsafe drivers, but they never do and it completely ruins the experience for everyone else there with a functioning brain.

Nah you should have won that easily. Track blocked and they call Yellow flag? They need some retraining.
Yeah I was pretty annoyed at that but it is what it is, I had fun still managed to grab a podium spot so not all bad news really

jesus those arent just backmarkers they're mobile chicanes. they're absolutely awful, I get not everyone is going to be as fast as you but they literally don't even accelerate out of the corners,.
