- Today we're at Teamsport Nottingham to try out their BRAND NEW FLEET of karts! We're in a GP1 members race which consists of:
-10 minute practice
-F1 style knockout qualyfying
-20 minute race
-20 minute reverse grid race
We're also here with @superkartblondie, @Driving_Forward and @KTB.Msport so there should be some good racing and good banter between us all!

Good vlog mate and it’s about time we got new karts not been for a year as the karts were rubbish but going to start again getting ready for bikc looked like you enjoyed it and it’s great for heavyweights to have power up the ramp 😉👌🤣
Yeah it's good to see that the lighter guys can't get away as easy now... Though they still have that slight advantage 😅😅

It would be fun to see you do some track further up north I know that Newcastle has a fun track so it would be fun to see you race their if you are ever up there
The plan is to do a "north tour" later in the year and get a few of the northern tracks done! They're just all so far away just for one visit 😅

Was a fun night. Some strange decisions for sure but what can you do. Also I think the system malfunctioned in the first race because according to my footage I should have finished 14th, but was last 🤓

Thanks dude! Just be nice and smooth with these karts, slippy floor and instant tourqe means a lot of wheel spin and you wanna avoid that as much as you can!

I wonder how they justified letting kart 22 back in front, i might just try that tactic when i’m about to be overtaken just crash and get my postion back
No idea... But them Marshalls are definitely blind 😂😂😂 I mean that's the BIKC tactic, lose your place but just crash out so you force a red flag and positions go back a lap 🤷

How do you know how much charge the battery has left? What if one kart has more energy than another? How do you know your kart is operating as it should? Thanks.
I believe it says how much charge the kart is on on the charging station when the kart is plugged in but there's no real way to know when you're sat in the kart
Hello man thanks for the advise i used it and got 37 seconds got 41 last tome whats your fastest lap and they is a recored of 20 seconds how do you feel about that 😂
20 seconds is a glitch in the timing system
Your camara is clear is that the teamsport cam?
No it's my own gopro (hero 7 black) and the eye view camera is a cambox v4 pro

They're much better than you think they are, especially indoors! Though I've yet to try them outdoors 😅

Any advice for these karts? I went last night and managed a 33.5, a bit sad from a local finalist that hit a 32.8 last year :/
Were you on speed 3 or speed 4? And were you using the boost button?
I'm not sure what speed I was on but i was using the boost up the ramp, the karts in my session were muddled, some on speed 1, some on 3 some on 4, so I wouldn't be able to tell you 😅
@@CSRacing_ you could of well got speed 3 karts then 😅 we found the boost works best on the straight just before the last corner, you can actually attack there unlike up the bridge
last corner im not braking, using the boost up the ramp, with these karts i found my tighter line into the back hairpin might be faster then going later but i might be wrong.

press it while going round the hairpin before going up the ramp

the decisions made on the second race were very strange, they also penalised me for contact when i didnt make any lol, would have won overall even with being in the wall in the first race, got demoted to not even a podium 😂😂
