The highlight, IMO, comes at 24:22 when Neysa Moskowitz reminds author James Alan Fox, "My daughter is dead!" Later, at 35:18, Neysa warns Fox, "You'd better be quiet" and honestly, who can blame her.
Appearing in this episode are Doris Tate (mother of Sharon Tate), Neysa and Gerry Moskowitz (parents of Stacy Moskowitz), Christopher and Virginia Peters (both of whom survived an attack by Richard Ramirez) and Dolores Nieder (mother of John Mowery).
In the audience are authors Maury Terry and the aforementioned James Alan Fox. There's also a telephone interview with Daniel Rakowitz (who, on August 19, 1989, killed then cooked his girlfriend Monkia Beerle).
Murderers discussed are David Berkowitz, Richard Ramirez, and John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson and his family members (with accompanying video clips of when Geraldo interviewed Manson).
I found this episode as I was converting my VHS collection so bear in mind the original source is a 30 year old video tape recording at the SLP mode.
Thanks for posting .. I feel bad for all these parents .. Doris Tate seems like such a great person too . Such a sweat lady hopefully all these parents are reunited in heaven with their children

When the cops pulled geraldo over he said c'mon c'mon guys I'm geraldo. The officers said they don't care. Geraldo started crying and made a scene. The officers had to take him in a wagon.

Neysa was an interesting, extraordinary woman. I wish there was more out there about her. In later years (say, 12 or 13 years after this broadcast), she actually found the strength to forgive Berkowitz, and the two corresponded. I think he even sent her a Mother’s Day card one year. When she died (in 2006, I think), Berkowitz posted about it on his born-again-Christianity web site, praising her.

Neysa Moscowitz was one of Maury's victims. First Berkie kills her daughter then Maury swoops in and lies to her that he didn't do it. All to push his bullshit cult theory that HE KNEW was false.

Maury Terry at this exact moment was victimizing the MOscowitz parents and it's disgusting to witness. He knew his cult story was BS and yet he manipulated grieving parents into making fools of themselves on Geraldo's show.
Terry was right. So was Cinotti. Berkowitz was part of a larger group and the death of John Carr was no coincidence. The NYPD put the kaibosh on any subsequent investigation for purely political, departmental reasons. Lay off the Manischewitz, Little Manny.

John Wayne Gacy (Executed 1994).
Charles Manson (Died in Prison 2017).
David Burkowitz ( Still in Prison . Never will be released).

Leslie van Houten was paroled in 2023.
Tex Watson still in prison.
Susan atkins died in prison, of cancer, around 2009
The guy that is saying prison is bad and that you won't save tons of money is right, but the thing is its not about that, the victims and the victims family want these criminals to pay, and be executed. I would feel that way also.
I don't believe in rehabilitation for murderers. I believe the US justice system is severely broken.
I don't know the law in california...but in alabama if you have anything to do with a murder...even if you don't commit the murder...you could still be tried for.conspiracy to commit murder...I have a friend that happened to and he did life

at the time, shows like this were considered a big deal...serious, high brow, and and very important...but now that i see these old clips, i realize how corny, produced, and generally stupid they all are. it's just a dumb cheap talk show...damn near public access.
