Hi there! May I ask whether do you know any electric reel with remote control? I need to adjust the depth by sitting inside the cabin/pilothouse. I know the Daiwa Seaborg G1800M with Remote Jog - but it is quite expensive ;). Any other recommendations (maybe controller with wire)? Many thanks, Kony

Hi everyone, I am handicap and I love to fish. I cannot get into or out of a boat. I am stuck fishing from shore. Lake erie or small rivers. Extremely difficult to real in. I absolutely love this electric reel idea for me. Can anyone tell me if I would be able to use this concept to fish fresh water . 20lb test line...

why would one use an electric reel for fishing under 100m of depth ?
Smashed my hand building a rock wall, the X-ray looked more like a tennis racket than a hand, so always looking for ways to get shit done and this does the trick when it comes time for hauling in big channel cat.
