THis was a cool song back in the day In high school, I worked at my uncle's shop during the summer months - one day, I was listening to the radio and he walked in, and "Spill The WIne' was playing, He stopped, listened for a moment, and then asked, with a puzzled look on his face: "Wayne, is that guy in pain?"
Eric Burdon was lead singer of the Animals and you may have seen him in the video for "House of the Rising Sun." "Take that pearl" is a reference I will leave to you to look up.
I loved Erics voice with the Animals I dug this cool song back in 1970 still do. The Animals had very many good songs. Dont believe he was witb War long and probably trick photography swallowing the watch.,,,😊Keep up the good work.
Just a little back story the guy singing lead vocals is Eric burdon he is the lead singer of another famous band called the animals one of their most famous songs is house of the rising sun
The first time I saw them, they were the featured band for Jethro Tull's first US tour. That was a great combination of bands. This was the fall of 1969 at the old Long Beach Civic Auditorium. A great time was had by all.
One of the best pairings ever, War and Eric Burdon. Too bad it was blocked. So, tell me Gracie, are you taking requests??? 😊

This is a CLASSIC GROOVE VIBE!!! ❤❤ Can't make it today!!! ❤❤ 👏👏👏
From a time of experimental music finding a direction, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn`t, that`s all I have to say on this.
This kinda $#!? Is EXACTLY why I ignored the haters in school and took up the flute. This and Jethro Tull
