How come in Louisiana you could just take whatever you want big gigantic redfish fish like this snappers anything you want as long as you take one or two I think that’s the way it goes cause I watch the meat for dinner and they took everything. They caught great big redfish and why not you’re gonna spend all that money to go fishing why can’t you keep one of these fish? Who the hell are these people to tell you what you can catch and what you can’t because most of the people who are making the rules and regulations this is a fact what I’m about to tell you, fishing fleets commercial fishing fleets there the ones that make the rules for them not you look it up. I swear to God this is true.

With all those red snapper and sharks, you just know there is a lot of government garbage going on. One day that`s all that will be around because they will have eaten everything else, it`s crazy! Great video all the same, Peace and brother love to you and all.

Truth
Too many commercial fisherman going after Red Snapper and bringing back 50k lbs a trip. Their limits need to be cut back so the recreational fisherman can catch a few more.. Its something here in Texas
Recreational fishers don`t get a taxable income to share with the government so we are 2 rate and the commercial fishers get a sweet kiss, sad and nasty but it`s the way it works, vote better and complain by phone or mail with your vote as a threat. All of us recreational fishers seem to get crapped on no matter what state so all of us should make our vote conditional to our interests.
The people are supposed to come first no matter what period, take it to a higher court on the grounds of providing for the family instead of having to release everything so the government gets a bigger share. The truth is commercial or not income taxes are a voluntary system according to Long v US and as soon as as us recreational guys cut ourselves from the tax brackets and hurt them more than the commercial guys help them it’ll be an issue. The only issue with exempting yourself from taxes is you can never draw SSI and be eligible for other government programs which IMO is a good thing.
@@Bamapride1000 I`m living on a tight budget on SSI and I rely on the fish I catch to live in that budget, this is why I feel for anyone in my circumstances, I don`t even like the slots on striped bass because it hurts in every way to release a fish that could feed me for a month or more. The idea that you can`t keep a fish that`s been halved by a shark is ridiculous... somehow keeping it is going to affect the population. Listen, I follow the rules even if I think they`re stupid, if nothing else the punishments are more than I could afford and if the state can get its`s hands on our wallets it will with total abandon... it hurts either way... I`m living at 45% poverty rate for Boston, Mass. Peace and brother love to you and all.
Commercial fisherman need to make a living to,I longline for swordfish and tuna,I cant speak definitively about grouper and snapper,but as far as hms fish go what quota us American boats don't catch goes to other countries the next year,countries with far less regulations,American boats are so regulated they arnt hurting a thing
