I agree with all the statements made about the AQQA brand lights and i %1000 recommend trying the brand and not just the lights. I have a battery backup dual port air pump from them and it's amazing. It has a on for 10 seconds off for 10 that last for 90 hours. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Steve for your honest reviews! I am currently setting up a 40 gallon breeder planted tank and I appreciate your content and reviews! I currently run the Hygger programmable light, but I will be sure to check out the AQQA!
I have 3 lights from them and they do pretty dang good growing plants in a 55 gallon and a 40 breeder. I wish they'd reach out to me because I love the products. The price points are on point. I forget the model I have but it's a single red button on/off/switch mode. 3 mode light with #1 is plant only #2 is white only and #3 is both/all white/RBG.
@@ssaquascapes Yes, I think the majority of us plant aquarist do. I haven't really found a plant mine won't grow as long as I can get it past the initial melting/transplanting.
@nathanhoveyaquatics I hope my channel can help the average aquarist realize there can be too much light, which also cost more money than is needed for the average aquarist. Key word is “average” as some pros need more light.
@ssaquascapes oh absolutely, you are doing great at showing people of all stages of the hobby things aren't has hard or expensive as some make it to be. I like that you dable on both sides with some more expensive lights n so on. Definitely a channel/Aquarist I shout-out to my friends online.
Not too sure. I’d have to do more research but normally, a brand has their standard quality, and a sister company of lesser price/quality. I am speculating here so don’t quote me on this regarding AQQA/Hygger.
AQQA lights currently 20% OFF for Black Friday. Click link in description 🤘

I do prefer a simple light, as you know! 🤘

I'm curious: what is the difference between the two lights ( AQQA and HYGGER ). is one cheaper. is it the pink RGB?

@@ssaquascapes hard to fathom Chinese marketing strategy sometimes tho I'm guessing this has an obvious factor we're just not seeing.
If i had the money i would buy so many to replace my shop lights 😅
I wonder if they have a longer lifespan than traditional shop lights. 🤔
That is a good question 🤔 now I am curious
