Love these videos you are just calm when fishing but also being very professional. But I also feel so comfortable when watching these great videos and learn so much. So thank you.
I love watching and listening to Joe, he’s such a great angler who I have had the pleasure to meet. He goes into depth and explains everything in an easy to understand way. Top bloke, top angler. Thanks Joe and Mick for another brilliant episode
One of the best vids I've seen for some time. Never thought about different floats for different situations, though I've always gone to go as light as possible and move up with size depending on conditions. The section re bomb and pellet helps a lot. Thanks chaps.
Love this question and answer format because Mick asks Joe questions I would ask him, and also, it gives us a view to Mick's thoughts of the method being shown, excellent...thanks Mick, Joe and NuFish...👍🎣
Really great vid-joe and mick! as the comment before would be good if you could do a short video of how you set up the shotting attachment-I use a very similar set-up but find I get a lot tangles around the pellet waggler it self, maybe i'am casting wrong- but as I say excellent video cheers-
Superb video. The longer format really works well. To many videos from other channels trying to cram tutorials into twenty minutes and missing loads of key info
Hi Joe, have to say another fantastic video. Been out today and used you're paste and had a fantastic session at Hayfield. Biggest was a 16lb common. So thank you for all the information you share in you're videos. Very much appreciated.
Another absolutely brilliant video, love the way you two bounce off each other. Keep up the good work lads. ps. Mick casts just like me, old school from casting peacock wagglers.
Another cracking vid Joe. I went on Loco the other day before viewing this and had a cracking day on the pellet waggler. Will take these tips on my next visit. Off to the tackle shop now for more floats. Big big thing for me was setting the clutch quite slack otherwise got snapped off... Cheers
Great video! I have had great success fishing a pellet wafter as an alternative to a pellet. Sinks much slower and seems to fool more carp when they are up in the water, it "fishes" for a bit longer each cast. 👍
I bought a complete new pellet waggler setup for this season. My last setup was too heavy. I went for a lightweight Nytro Aryzon 10ft pellet waggler and a Fox Rage Warrior 3500 reel. I am using lighter line with the new Matrix 3gram wagglers. Line is 0.17mm Guru pole line. Size 16 B911 hooks on 0.13 and 0.14 banded hooklengths. I have gone as light as I can. I have had some success, but this method is venue specific. It does not work on all commercials. It is good for the odd few fish , but it will not produce big weights anymore. Best catches have come from specimen Carp lakes where the fish have not wised up to this method.
Great video thanks guys. Joe what box do you use for storing your wagglers? I look forward to seeing the video on how you prepare your shotted floats. Thanks 👍🏻
Excellent content boys!... Very well explained, with some important tips also. Any chance of letting us know when the magical little margin paste floats are likely to be available again please?
Fantastic video. Thanks for this type of video! Exactly what I need as I buy floats but never really know what actual specific use each are for. Doesn’t look like Guru do the 6g and 8g balsa pellet wags any more? Gap in the market 😉
Would you use the Matrix pellet waggler weights on the Drennan Mugglers which means the weight is directly under the float or would it be best with a weight either side like you have done? Probably overthinking this but wasn’t sure if it would make a difference with the float diving/entering the water
I haven't tried them so not too sure. I do think having a weight either side softens the landing slightly. but if it makes a difference is up for debate!
I’ve seen your vid where you add colouring etc and bake the pellets to make them red, but not got the time for that 🤣 best out of the bag red pellets in your experience?
you mentioned, in an off hand comment, that you would like to fish a 2x4 stick float on rivers, but a 2g float is now the norm etc...... do you think finesse now is immaterial ? i am brought up on canals and rivers, some stillwaters, but fishing these days seems more gung ho? hhe great video lads
Not at all. But on the river you need to boss the river at times and we should be afraid to use extra weight to get the presentation particularly in wind 👍🏻
Feeder rods have fine quiver tips for bite detection while a Waggler rod has no tips and is a touch stiffer to allow you to strike and cast light floats
Imagine taking the boss fishing and only letting him fish for 10 minutes. Harsh. They're going to ask.....can you show how you create the float attachment and add the shot to the foam and crystal unloaded floats, so that they become loaded and are eaasier to clip on and off? Please and thanks.

That's very nice of you Grumpy :)

Great info and technique , learnt lots of tips and realised i am doing more right than wrong.
This answered all the questions I had about wagler fishing, thanks a lot guys.
Glad to help!
Great film gentlemen and Joe is some angler 👏👏
Thanks for watching ⚫️🟡

Cracking vid from two cracking anglers 😊
Thanks for watching
Another excellent video Joe, keep up the good work
Thanks Brian

Yes it makes total sense, it's just never out performed pellet for me
Great video really informative . Thanks !

What a great team 👏 👌

Thanks for this, been trying the wag and yet to have luck, hopefully after watching this will help!

It definitely works best on open style lakes with a bit of depth to them
@@NuFish Spot on Joe. It is a waste of time at venues where the fish can hug the features.
Super video
Thanks

Its a Daiwa Bits box. They are good and a great price too
@NuFish Thanks Joe 👍🏻

They are being delivered to us as we speak so hopefully won’t be too long! A few clunks as well ❤️
@@NuFish thanks Joe....
Great video again, Joe and Mick. Is now the time for Nufish to be looking at producing and selling Pellet waggler Floats ??
It’s certainly something we’d be interested in if we felt we could improve on what was around 👍🏻
Fantastic video. Thanks for this type of video! Exactly what I need as I buy floats but never really know what actual specific use each are for. Doesn’t look like Guru do the 6g and 8g balsa pellet wags any more? Gap in the market 😉
Just had a quick google and found them on first site I checked :)
@@NuFish which site? The big water 10g plus sizes are available everywhere but the 6g and 8g I haven’t seen available for ages!
Did I miss it or did you show the shooting arrangement for the floats ? You have it fixed but how ? Be great to see that please ?

I haven't tried them so not too sure. I do think having a weight either side softens the landing slightly. but if it makes a difference is up for debate!
Noticed your unloaded floats had locking shot either side but attached waggler on link with line stops. What were shots attached to?
It’s a little home made link. I’ll do a video on it
I’ve seen your vid where you add colouring etc and bake the pellets to make them red, but not got the time for that 🤣 best out of the bag red pellets in your experience?
Older pre-brexit robin reds were great!

Not at all. But on the river you need to boss the river at times and we should be afraid to use extra weight to get the presentation particularly in wind 👍🏻
Is it ok to use a heavier hook length than main line???
Yes, the shorter hooklength had less stretch so will still break first
whats the difference between a feeder and wagler rod??
Feeder rods have fine quiver tips for bite detection while a Waggler rod has no tips and is a touch stiffer to allow you to strike and cast light floats
@@NuFish could you use a feeder rod without the quiver in as I don't have a wagler rod
