I don't have an RX100 II to check with, but I have not seen any indication that the grip would fit properly on that camera, so my guess is that it would not fit in a useful way.
I just got Sony hvl-f60rm2, and sony fa-wrc1m wireless commander. I linked/paired wireless successfully, but.. once I put the commander onto the RX1Rii, the camera screen showed "accessory not compatible" I sure wanted this to work.
I haven't worked with that particular combination, so I don't have first-hand knowledge of the situation. Here is a web page that may point you in the right direction to a solution: support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/support/acc/flash/en/radio/compatibility.html.
I like you video. I have a Sony Rx1Rii camera. I need a wireless remote control for my Sony camera. May you tell me where to buy this wireless remote control?
It takes a 49mm filter. An ND filter can be very useful for certain situations, and it would not be a bad idea to have one in your collection of accessories. I don't generally use a UV filter, though you could use one to protect the lens.

@@NoahAWeinbaum I have never worked with the a7 III, but it really depends on how large and powerful a flash you need. Any of the Sony line of flash units for the Multi Interface Shoe should work well with both cameras. I would probably pick something like the HVL-F45RM, but you may prefer a smaller or larger one.
Very informative! I have one as well, and enjoy seeing the effort put into this! Thank you!
+Gian Carlo Torres Thanks for your comment!
Would the thumb grip work with the sony rx100 m2? I know the viewfinder does

Hi. Do you know how many of these accessories would work on the RX1R mark one? Thanks.
No, I have never used that model. Sorry.
Thank you.
What filter lens size does it take? Do you recommend a nd filter or UN filter for this?

On the HVL-F20M, can you control it on the RX1RII?
That flash unit is compatible with the camera, if that's what you're asking. It should work fine.
@@alexswhite which flash would you recommend that could work well on both the Sony a7 III and the RX1RII?
