I remember one year putting my Santa list together having gone through the Argos catalogue. Some fab and memorable toys there … great walk didn’t memory lane… things ain’t what they were! 😢
I had a Bionic Man. Unfortunately, they couldn't rebuild him after he was dropped out the bedroom window, tied to a carrier bag that was acting as a makeshift parachute.
Was born in 1970 this is awesome I had steve Austin and action man but the fingers would fall off and not hold the guns 😂. Evel knievel was so good turning the wheel and letting him go Those were the days😢
I had a few Action men, the Bionic Man and the Evil Knievel "Jet" cycle when i was a kid. Was gutted i got bought Evil's "Jet" cycle instead of his "stunt" cycle as all my mates had that one lol but still such happy memories considering my late father ruined most christmas's because he was hung over through being drunk christmas eve night. Action Man was my top favourite toy as a kid though. Thank you Bionicbrit for bringing the memories back to me :) :) :)
The Evel Knevel funny car was great too! It would go out at high speed hit something and fly apart, but you could reassemble it. The cycle would fall over.
Yes the Evel Knievel toys and the six million dollar man figure were great. Action man needs to re -release again with the same boxes , would be great. Thanks for watching, all best Bioncbrit. Had lots of action men plus vehicles, bionic man and rocket, cyborg, lone ranger, silver and butch and the matchbox le man's race set. My family were quite poor but my mum worked in a village shop where they got these toys before Christmas and she was allowed a staff discount. I also had fantastic grandparents and an aunt who spoiled me at Christmas and birthdays. I was very lucky and feel humbled that I actually had these toys. Wish I still did😢

Our next-door neighbour back in England had that cardboard Death Star and when he got too old for it, me and my brother had it for a while. I wonder how much it would be worth now?

I was born in 1984. If I had been born a decade before, I would get Mousetrap and the Star Wars and Doctor Who action figures and sets.
Our next-door neighbour back in England had that cardboard Death Star and when he got too old for it, me and my brother had it for a while. I wonder how much it would be worth now?
