I have two as one is close to the end of it's days. Don't think I would have multiple copies though . I love the books but two are enough for practical reasons.
@@racheldemain1940 - I'm not even big into books, but my collector's instinct is currently in overdrive. That said, I'd like the standout ones, that are really unique and creative enough to have.
That shirt is sooo Aliceandwonderlandie! Did you do that on purpose? Also just had to say I’m in high school and our show of the semester is Alice and Wonderland!
Awesome! I love the B&N editions! I’m pretty sure this is me with Edgar Allan Poe, Harry Potter, and Jane Eyre 🖤 I definitely have more than two copies of each.
So, are you going down the rabbit hole and start collecting editions in other languages as well? Because, you know, some of us could help with that. :D
This is such a cool collection! I am starting to collect different editions of 'Lolita' which is my favorite book, and people are like "do you really need 8 copies of one book?" and i say "YES." I love when people are really passionate about a certain book and want to collect different versions of it!
I wrote my English grad thesis on the language used in Alice so I get it! Your collection is beautiful. The only books I own multiple copies of are Harry Potter and Coraline, but I want to start collecting Sherlock Holmes 😊 Thanks for sharing with us!
Beautiful copies! I’m trying to keep myself from doing this with the HP series. I definitely don’t have enough room on my shelves but I just love all the different editions.
Hi Hailey, I really enjoyed your Alice in Wonderland collection. It's been a while since you've done an update so I was wondering if you are interested in (or if you have since acquired) the Folio Society edition illustrated by Charles Van Sandwyk? I just discovered Folio Society and purchased this book. It is a masterpiece and I can't wait to pour over it when it arrives. Thank you for showing the Robert Sabuda pop-up edition. I have added it to my Amazon wishlist.
Wow. 22 minutes of editions! I didn't even know there were sooo many! They are all cute and beautiful! If I started collecting a story that would be the little prince 😊
I use to have a beautiful edition growing up and I am so mad at myself for not appreciating it more and getting rid of it. The book had the original illustrations and the cover all around was red velvet. It was really gorgeous and I know you would love it.
I love the story of Alice Alice in wonderland sooo proud of you that you managed to film it without disaster I have the two macmillan ones they have the cutest covers
Wooow! There are so many good ones! The light blue one with the silver edges is probably my favorite. It was really fascinating to see your collection :')
love this video :) I`m an illustrator and I love seeing all the different takes illustrators have done on the same text. My favorite editions I think is the ones Anna Bond and Tove Jansson have illustrated, but I also adore Tenniel`s original illustrations.
love this collection! I'm one of those people who has way too many copies of Harry Potter and a growing collection of Peter Pan. But Alice is such a magical story, and your copies are so 'cute and fun' haha
You gave me so many ideas for ones to get my sister for Christmas! She also collects different editions of Alice. Thanks Hailey! As for me...I collect different editions of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is one of my all-time favourite stories and, although I don't have an Alice in Wonderland collection, it was super refreshing to see yours.
Oh my gosh! That's a lot of book! I also really love collecting old editions of books! One day, could you do a more in depth video about why you love Alice in Wonderland so much? I'm so curious as to why you love it so much! I read it for school and it wasn't anything special to me, but I'd really love to hear about why you love it.
The Puffin + Pantone edition is silver because it's meant to represent the: "Silver Looking Glass". I agree with you, first time I saw it it didn't scream Alice to me.
Amazing! I have six copies so I totally understand the temptation. All but one is in this video but I really really want the white 150th anniversary edition! ❤️ Those Puffin editions are so CUTE and FUN too! 👗 🚪 🐰 🐛 🍄 🐢 🐷 🐱 🐎 👑 🌹
Love your hair Hailey. It suits you. I got Alice in wonderland . I used to read as a child. So I’m looking forward to read the book again . You have beautiful Alice in wonder land books . Lovely colours . Xxx 🌹🌹📚📖
So many editions and damn, they are all so amazing!! I'm actually hoping to one day have that many varieties for the Harry Potter books! I just love what they do with they! I love the alice in wonderland editions, though! It's amazing what they do with books in general!!!!
I hate it when people say that classic Children's literature is only for children... I mean those books are classics for a reason. I don't want to loose the opportunity to read them just because I'm older.
I'm already this way with my favorite series and so far there have only been two editions. XD It must be so nice to have so many versions of your favorite book to choose from. Now I want to go home and see which version we have on our shelves. I don't think I saw it, but it's a really, really old version that belonged to my mom I think. I just remember loving the illustrations when I was younger. I used to pull it out just to look at the pictures.
It seems the only Alice copy I own isn't on your list. I was shocked. Loved these. I think I subbed because of the first one. I love seeing how the books evolve and the different interpretations. Thanks for doing this!
So how many do you own now? Would love an updated video! And could you make sure to show the edges of each book please? I absolutely adore Alice in Wonderland more than words can say.
I’m also collecting Alice books because it has always been one of my favorite Disney movies and it was the first classic book I ever read back when I was 10.
Thanks for making these Alice book collection videos! It’s how I’ve found your channel as I was looking for some ideas on which issue to purchase to read with my daughter, and you have definitely helped! Although now I think I might need to buy more than one as there’s a few illustrated ones I loved but I also need to have one of the complete works editions. XD
I love your passion...I just discovered the booktube community looking for audiobooks but these videos are infusing my need to buy physical books again
I've got 48 different editions and other Alice inspired books (such as Alice in Zombieland), so I have lots of ones the same as you, as well lots of ones that I covet. One of my favourites is one that you haven't got - Alice in Wonderland illustrated by Tove Jansson (who wrote and illustrade the Moomin books), it's absolutely wonderful!
@17:51 The puffin Classic’s edition was shown. Hard copy with dust jacket purchased in England. Does anyone know where to buy this? I have look on the internet and only paperback books come up. I really want the one she shows here in the video
I like to collect copies of Frankenstein 😄 I love your collection! My best friend is obsessed with Alice so I’m going to send her straight over to your channel. She will understand your struggle 💙
I wanted to ask: is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland And Through The Looking Glass Barnes & Noble “Flexibound” edition have “full-colored” illustrations? 2:26
I don't have one book but because my bookshelf is really small I always like to try to get the small editions of the classics. I am currently on the hunt for a really good edition Edgar Allen Poe, poetry collections. It can be too big though. I understand your love for Alice, it's one of a kind.
I'm in the process of collecting editions of both Anne of Green Gables and The Lord of the Rings (and Tolkien in general) and I feel like things might get out of hand at some point but whatever... my Tolkien shelf is already overflowing and I have nowhere to put the new Anne boxed set that I got in the summer so.. I'm also kind of collecting editions of Harry Potter but idk if I will collect as many of those just because there are 7 books and that's a lot to try to collect multiples of... for now I'm just working on the 20th anniversary additions (the special House Colours ones), the french ones, and the illustrated editions...
I have the same problem with Anne of Green Gables books ..I hope to have a collection just as big as yours ...like I love Anne and I have to buy every edition of it 😊😊😊
Hey Hailey. I was in search of the one Alice in Wonderland copy that was perfectly perfect. Then I came upon the Easton Press version of Alice in Wonderland, and I would say this version is by far my absolute favorite. It has Gold sides with gold lettering on the cover. It is leather bound and has silk lining. Please take a look at it. You need this one in your collection!
I have that copy with the pink flamingos cover!!! I got it when I was eighteen at a museum I went to with my high school’s art club; We went to an art museum and then to a natural science museum and I got the book at the latter one. It’s my first copy of Alice and I was hoping that you would have it, too!!
I love your collection. I collect Alice books too and I have over 80 but you had some I don’t have which means I must hunt them down lol. Doesn’t matter what people thinks. Collecting books is no different then collecting pop vinyls or even Pokémon cards hahaha.
Hailey alone keeping the Alice in Wonderland market alive 👌🏻💕lol thanks to you I got the penguin classic when I had to study it for class and I adore it 😍
It's funny that pink is the color associated with it, I always thought it was red or even white or black but idk, that just me. Also you've made me really want to read Alice at some point, I have like 1600 books on my list and I don't usually go for classics, but I love the Barnes and Noble collector's edition so I might pick that one up! Love your videos Hailey!
I don't know if you already had the one from Folio Society, but if not you should get one!! I browsed their website and their version of some books really have a pretty cover!!
Those are a great editions, but there are a few editions I recommend, Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland : An illustrated journey though time, another pop up edition illustrated by Jotto Seibold (same illustrator of Olive the other reindeer), Disney tokyopop manga and the graphic novel editions based on the Tim Burton film, and finally another edition featuring all of David Hall's concept art for the Disney film.
I do the same with "The Little Prince" so I get it, really. I saw you haven't got the Wordsworth edition of Lewis Carroll's full works. I have that one in paperback and it is a nice thing to have.
I love that watercolor slipcover! And the Dali one is *heart eyes* to die for As for books I can't stop myself from getting multiple copies of...American Gods. I only read it last year and I already have 4 different copies of it...and I have no shame.
The book that I always buy different versions of is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, I have it in 6 different languages and so many different versions, still collecting languages

Have you read most of the books? Or do you just collect them? How similar is the flexi-format addition to the Alice’s adventures in wonderland & other stories (the newest one)?
She has more copies of Alice in Wonderland than I have books.....
Sameen Ejaz xD same

Me: why does anybody need this many copies of Alice?
Also me: why don’t I have this many copies of my fave books?
We need this? No

I have two as one is close to the end of it's days. Don't think I would have multiple copies though . I love the books but two are enough for practical reasons.
I bet the Mad Hatter from the batman comics is jealus of her collection.

Having an edition that you don’t have is oddly satisfying
Haha me 2
Same well, The thought that she has many and there's so many more is satisfying to me

Same!
Mine isn't either!

That's quite the collection! They are all so gorgeous.
Kinda makes me want to read the story. Yep - I've never read it 😅

Yes! That's an amazing idea!:) Also helpful when it comes to learning a language.
that's what I was thinking! I found a super cute edition here in Portugal and my first thought was "Hailey would love this" hahaha

Oh wow 💜
I like the mad hatter. The purple edition is my fave.
