The best thing about all your videos is that you keep it simple. Unlike other professional chefs who think they're wannabe experts, you do things differently and have no need to explain things because actions speak louder than words. Feeding the kids your food really adds a nice touch to it because children are genuinely honest when it comes to food. If they hate it, they will show it on their faces.
Whats with this need to put down chefs who want to pursue complex cooking? There is a place for simple and rustic cooking, just like there is for high end complex cooking. No need to put down either unless you are just being a contrarian.

Wow. I can almost smell and taste this through my computer screen! lol I spent a year in Diyarbakir, Turkey in the early 80s, and did some traveling in the region. When I returned to the USA, I could not eat any meat unless it had lemon juice and yogurt on it. Every time I watch your videos, your exquisite dishes reminds me of experiences I had back then. Its especially joyful to watch the children come running (I am sure they could smell the intoxicating fragrance of your food cooking a mile away 😄), Honestly, if I were there, I would be running to your table as well. I study cultural anthropology and have watched many documentaries and read quite a bit about Azerbaijan. Peace and blessings to you and your family. The first part with the whole bull on a rod gave me flashbacks to when I visited a medieval market and they had the same thing. The guy handed me a piece of meat in a bun with a handful herbs on top of it... The best piece of meat I ever had. Literally. I can tell by the ingredients and how you cook all those beautiful dishes its just delicious in a way we can not comprehend with our frozen food and pineapple pizza.

With so many uncheck bucket to do list of our own and we want to be in somebody's shoes? If ALLAH gives us the opportunity we might not be able to do half what he had done. I guess always want and wish make us human, but as soon as we have it, the craving will be gone, and one maybe will grow bored. Many wishes to had Cinderella life, but unbeknownst to them, the post fairy-tale's life she's living afterwards might not be so great.
