Thanks for watching!
the floor with the drain plugs makes this a detailers dream ❤️ btw you were my inspiration to start my very own POV channel!
I really appreciate this video because it is pretty much the exact spec I’m considering for an order. 4 door, manual, badlands, though I’ll probably forego the ‘advanced’ bit. I’m really glad to see that the stability control can be fully defeated, unlike in my Ranger where “advancetrac off” is a lie. The biggest thing that swings this for me is that you seem to drive how I like to drive, doing little skids here and there to have a little fun. Kindred spirit, I appreciate you.
Driving your car in rainy weather can be very exciting. The surroundings fading through the drops of water are beautiful. Thanks for the good content broග
watched a few Bronco review, but your exhaust audio is superb and it is pretty amazing how the 4 bangers sounds. Not bad for a 2.3 turbo and would really consider the manual version of this vehicle
I test drove a base with the manual trans / 2.3L combo and it sounded nothing like this. Sounded like the average modern turbo 4. I wonder if they only use faux engine noise in certain trim levels or with certain packages that can be had with the upper trims, such as the lux package.
@@brettlarson912 yes they use fake engine noise with the bang and olufsen sound system. My bronco sounded exactly like it does in this video. That is until I disabled the fake engine noise with forscan. Now it just sounds how you'd expect a 2.3L 4 cylinder to sound.
Great backroad driving on the snow…. Couple time it looked like you were headed into the trees!
Glad you like the MT even in the 4 door - was afraid it would feel too big and heavy for the 2.3L Manual.
Hi, Bro I finally got my Bronco Badlands 7MT, after waiting for a year, and now I watch this video every day to learn how to drive manual transmission.
BEST REVIEW of the Badlands 7 Speed! Thanks!
For those talking about less MPG, I own a black diamond 7 speed MT and I do get 24-25 MPG on freeway with speeds varying from 65-78 mph. It all depends on how you drive.
Even with the Bronco Sport rated at 25-29 (city/highway) I manage 27-34, just because I have a light foot, drive in eco mode, and try to conserve energy where I can.
@@booker9816 I didn't try eco mode for too long on free way. It lowers the power..
@@anonymoushuman524 it doesn't cut power necessarily, it cuts throttle. if you give it a boot full it will still rev as if it weren't in eco mode.
Wish they put that transmission on the Ranger
same frame so they couldve...
I’m surprised how nice it sounds. I feel like I haven’t heard the 4 banger sound that nice in other videos.
Other reviewers don't use it as a high rpm drift machine on the snow. 😀
I think they only incorporate the fake engine noise in certain trims, or with a certain package on higher trim levels. The base 2.3L / manual I drove didn’t sound like this in cabin at all.
@@brettlarson912 yeah I think ur right. My base 2 door manual doesn't sound anything like this
Agreed, test drove a manual yesterday and sounded nothing like this at all. I think might be a mic thing picking up more sound than normal, or he changed the exhaust. For 91 octane to have such a drastic effect and make the engine sound this different on that little engine, I highly doubt…. Something isn’t normal here.
@@first_last2740You’d actually be surprised at how much 91 octane wakes up this engine… after filling it up with a full tank of premium there is definitely a difference especially between 30-60
“That’s a nice Bronco”
*Looks at MPG and current situation*
“Wow that Honda Civic looks better though”
Finally all those "my Civic could go through that river, up that hill, off that jump" comments will be put to the test! :D
If theres anytime to get a civic its now lol.
But seriously, the new civics are great.
This trim isn't meant for you
@@eabdic1 Is Honda civic 4wd? 😀
When folded down, those headrests on the back seat look like Battle Droids from Star Wars 😂
Damn man you are ripping that thing. I got a little nervous when you put in two high. That was impressive considering the tyres/gearing
Enjoying your Bronco drives while I wait for mine. I will have to stop by and let you take a few photos when I get it...
Every time I drive past the new Bronco (trim level notwithstanding) I ask myself if buying a JL was the right choice.
That's too bad. The more I see of them, the more I think I'd sooner have a Wrangler.
Bronco order holders continue to wait. It’s tough
@@deviouslaw oh I love my EcoDiesel Wrangler. I just think that Ford did a decent job with the Bronco. I don’t know if I could go back to the gas motor though. This diesel has been getting 33-34 on freeway drives, which is sooo much better than our other gas Wrangler or SUVs.
@@P4SDetails well the bronco existing should force jeep to make a better wrangelr so ther's that
@@ShaiyanHossain I have the same hope. I have noticed that Jeep has always used the excuse that “it’s a Jeep” for all their shortcomings. They make improvements, but not tons. I guess we will see how the next generation changes. I was excited to see the 392 and the EcoDiesel. Maybe that is a sign that they are listening.
ford bronco is becoming my dream car, I love G classes so much, but they are much more expensive and most of the thing i love about G class are in the Bronco too, so i would be super happy if i ever bought this car. For europe it's too big, but still love it
Took a manual Black Diamond for a drive yesterday. I’m definitely more partial to the V6 auto. I couldn’t get over the flat spot that’s low down on the 2.3. I found the flat spot less noticeable on the 2.3 auto. The gearbox and clutch felt nice though.
Wow that wind noise is something
We basically have this exact bronco, we love it!
The Topher can drive! Professional desert runner trophy driver? Love the front windshield POV driving demo....I'm gonna buy a new two door OBX Bronco, when the hysteria, and availability becomes reasonable....
I love my 2dr Bronco 7spd. Compliments my Fiesta ST perfectly. Can't wait to get the Ford Performance tune so I can get the auto rev matching
I have a Big Bend on order. 2.3 auto. Don’t shame me, Houston traffic with a manual is not fun. I didn’t realize how good the 4 banger sounds. It will be a massive upgrade from my 2002 Ranger
That's just what everyone said to me that had an auto. "I didn't get a manual bc of Houston traffic." But I did Houston traffic for 7 years an hour each way with a manual and never once wished I had an auto instead
Your big bend won’t sound like this. That rumble you’re hearing is definitely not being produced by the 2.3L 4 cylinder. Faux engine noise in some upper trims / higher packages that is not present in the base, big bend or black diamond.
Really great review!
1:47 There's no place like home! There's no place like home!
I just love this video,
God I wish this car was even available. The only ones available are the lowest trims and all soft tops, at least where I live. Also dealer markups are crazy but that’s to be expected I guess.
Id be interested in driving a manual bronco, but I think I'd still take a stick JL just because I prefer the V6.
Hey if you don't mind me aaking what boots are you wearing they're niceee
Those really caught my eye and I'm looking for some I'd appreciate a reply topher thanks
Very Unfortunately, the Trim Levels of the Bronco with MT is Very Very Confusing...
You cannot have Adaptive Cruise below Outer Banks, and it is only available with the Luxe Package. (Top Package)
On top of that, you can't even add any Packages with the Manual on any Trim Level, except the Bad Lands.
You can have any package you want on the Bad Lands.
So, if you want a Manual with any Modern Creature Comfort, like Blind Spot Monitoring or Heated Seats, you are forced to spend the money and have a disconnecting sway bar... (A Key Feature on the Bad Lands)
Is the ride vs a new 4Runner more or less floaty?
New 4Runner trd suspension has way more float and softness to it
@@TheTopher Awesome thanks for the reply. That puts the Bronco at the top of my list.
I have the same model, it has a lot of 4WD capability
Question about the Tachometer: At what RPM does it begin to turn red? And at what RPM does the limiter kick in?
My only regret is not getting the 12" screen with the 360cameras
hey man great vid, just wanted to let you know you can get a four door sasquatch.
The only thing other than maybe the wind noise getting to me is that these things are so narrow. I know for real off roaders you want it to be narrow, but when you're a dude with wider shoulders, I don't wanna feel squished in there. I look at the seat and now there's like no room between it and the door. The dudes left arm position when he's trying to rest it on the door looks uncomfortable to me. Even still, I think I want one of these. There just isn't enough selection for manual vehicles out there. I reckon I will get a 2024 model, drive it for 2 years then trade it in for a Toyota 4Runner when they come out in like 2025 or 2026
I just ordered a 2024 Badlands manual! That gauge instrument cluster looks better than the ones I've seen. Can you change the look in the settings?
Does this thing have an exhaust? Sounds pretty good.
All I can say is the fact that a 5.7 hemi crew cab ram gets better fuel economy shows this engine is pointlessly small.
Small overreving engine in heavy car with huge tires is a bad idea.
Why they don’t give you a manual with 2.7 is beyond me? 10spd is junk.
Would like to know the MPG after this video, hehe.
Oof. It's so fun to drive it's more worth the MPG hit than some other off-roaders, but yeah it was not good.
Id take this over a Jeep Wrangler any day. How about that 7 speed manual!
That RPM gauge is the only bad thing, imo
Can u do suzuki jimny please
How's the road noise in the cabin? Acceptable or loud and i dont care?
Bronco sound amazing!!!
How did you make the tachometer screen blue from white?
It happens in low light situations
Is the exhaust factory tuned, or is that an after-market exhaust kit? I haven't heard any new Bronco in either engine size that sounds like that! I gotta know. I'm picking up a 4dr Badlands Sasquatch 2.3L in a couple days.
Everything here is 100% factory
Are you gonna get the new redesigned Alfa Romeo Stelvio to drive?
Ah they give you a handle to help get in,for all the 3ft 8 inch folks.
Power driver's seat? Hey FORD we got some veterans out here that would appreciate an option for a power seat in this trim -
They didnt add it because it would get ruined from the weather with the tops all off
Rpm meter is horrendous. Ford could improve the wind and road noise.
4 ads on a single video is outrageous
How does a 4 liter only get 12mpg?
how does adaptive cruise work in a manual?
just lowers ur revs in your current gear. If you shift it kicks out of cruise control. That's how it was when I used to drive manual semi trucks with it.
🧐Liked the video
Do you think the 4 CYL can handle the Sasquatch package?
I drove one today around town and a little Hwy, ~75 miles. It did just fine. I've not driven one with 33's so i can't compare them. My last stick shift experience was several years on a test drive of a Focus RS and nothing for 20+ years before that. I didn't stall the Bronco today and found it very easy to drive. Going in I was hesitant about buying a manual Bronco but now I would do it if the price was right (aka MSRP).
Wow this 4 cylinder version sound like a V8-6 I assume they came with Unequal Length Header. Yeah I don’t need a stinky overpriced G-Wagen to have fun
I get about 17 MPG
18mpg from a 2.7? damnn...
Sport mode in other trims is better than Baja
A 17 mpg 4cyl wtf
Ko2s are amazing in snow. Don’t know what you’re talking about buddy.
18mpg on the highway??? Damn, this vehicle isn't near as attractive as it used to be.
I think many look at these vehicles, because of the high cost as an option for an all around vehicle. What they really are is a fun vehicle, your second vehicle (I know, many of us can’t afford one these days) to go off roading with. I know a few who bought them and regret as it is not a vehicle for a family trip, it is not comfortable on long trips at all-that’s something you would use a Ford Explorer for. Ford is selling a ton of them, but I think many won’t be happy with them long term as they bought it for the wrong reasons. My opinion only of course.
Definitely -- I'll keep my paid off 4Runner thanks. That said I do think Ford did a great job on this -- and this particular model would be the one I'd want.
@@username8644 I have a '15 TRD Pro. Just went over 60k miles. Power is adequate, gas mileage not good, but to sound like a cliche douche -- the motor is bullet proof. I'll hold on to it eve with gas prices going through the roof.
This video is going to cost me a lot of money...
If the Bronco was more affordable and had better MPG it could of killed the Wrangler. Kind of missed their mark.
I wouldn't say they missed a mark. They are all sold. But I too wish it was more affordable and especially better mpg. I laughed when I saw how bad these were.
@@mitchellsteindler I guess it would be pretty ignorant of me to say that they missed their mark without knowing what their intentions actually were. Hopefully they can improve on that MPG though, haha!
I feel like a manual on a 4 door is a bit odd. Don't know why, but seems like the worst of both lol.
More doors and less motor. I would rather have the 2.7 liter with 10spd. In a 2 door I wouldn’t mind the 2.3 liter but would still rather have the automatic transmission.
Ecobust, no.
So much road noise 😬
glad i dont live in that shitty weather
“There is no perfect car”….accept for the 911.
For this money it needs V8.
Finally the only comment that makes sense..
They want you to pay big bucks and only get half an engine…. This is premium V8 price point here from few years ago.
1st view
why are you driving in 4x4 on pavement ? bad habit
Always switched back to 2H when on dry pavement
You can drive in 4 auto on pavement
@@MrCherrygrovedude you can drive off a cliff also but i wouldn't recommend it .
God that gay little foot clap he does every time he gets in a car gets me every time lol
how is anything about that gay? he does it to avoid getting dirt and snow in the car.
“Gay” Really? Grow up
It's a nice gesture, but i admit it's kind of gay 🤣
Tell me you’ve never driven in snow by telling me you’ve never driven in snow. Bet the inside of your car looks like shit.
@@averagebro413 do you even know what the definition of gay means? Children are literally the most annoying people on our planet.
