Herzlichsten Dank an Alle
Man i love this, even Greenslade rockin it. I'm 36. I would not fit in that crowd. I'd be rockin the fuck out and singing along. Wish i could see them. While my peers were digging the new band Nirvana (at age 14?) , i was listening to this and the endless other prog bands. I know alot of them. Made it a mission to find as many as possible.

Great to rediscover this live version where they made nice variants. Clem thought he could do the solo with a slide - and made a nice duet with Mark Clark. First heard this and the other songs in a concert in Ulm/Germany in 1971.
ı remeber john Heisman and Chris Farlowe(which made me buy the double album) and I was blown away by the sophistication....at the time .sooooo under-rated.
Very huge "LIKE" on this upload. This band- along with Cream and The Graham Bond Organization, Blind Faith- etc. > are very special to me-and I practice- to much of the material. Coincidentally, I just moved from LA to Eastern Canada after 3 decades of fires, floods and a house on the Northridge '94 Earthquake epicenter. A 4,000 mile move. This song rings out to me not with just the title alone, but the angst in Chris's vocals. Thx, Thierry
Clem Clempson played guitar on the original version of The Loner, on Cozy Powell's album Over the Top (1979). Gary Moore from Colloseum II played on other tracks on the album, and made a cover of The Loner in 1987.
genial , was für eine Verschmelzung von Jazz ,Blues und Rock ...great Sound ....big Sound ...großartige Band .....sensationelll eingefangen ....Danke Thierry..... Holger
Great band, one of my favorits too.....and Chris Farlow is an outstanding, fantastic vocalist and a difficult ,potentionaly agressive and destructive, maybe desilusioned man too.Maybe, there is a price for everything.....i don't know.
All I will say is that when Dave Clempson played his solo on the Live album, he played something iconic; something that in a few bars told the story of a lost soul. It is a solo that has remained with me for decades & that made that album one of my all time favourites. So this version is something of a disappointment for me.
There are some versions from 1994 and 2003 concerts on UA-cam which resemble the Live album version. This time Dave Clempson plays slide guitar for a change
Jon Hiseman only allowed me to post this LOST ANGELES-clip and and this special VALENTYNE SUITE-video (that's why I haven't even edited the other songs): ua-cam.com/video/BTgIXBcedC0/v-deo.html
@@wahwah-tv Yeah I saw the valentyne suite - perfection. Ok no problem. It's too bad but you respect the opinion from the artist - awesome! It's a shame that I just recently discovered them. Thank you so much for replying and spreading real music!
Hisseman - the drummer did piss off singer and he left the stage. Who knows what happened there between them. Anyway Colosseum band was playing so good.
@@wahwah-tv : I do not believe it because it affected their live music. They all were angry. I am guitarist and i knnow how anger can affect spontanity. Cheers.
Jonni - R.I.P. Colosseum ist Great Band. Great Singer - King Chris Fralowe!

Colosseum 1968~2016 you will live forever in the pantheon of music rest in peace, Dick and Jon
One of the best bands ever
R.I.P. Jon Hiseman. Maestro.
Still fronting Colosseum. One of my heroes.
Fantastic!!! R.i.p. Jon Hiseman...what a drummer! What a fantastic Band, what a great Song!
I had the great honour talking to Dick Heckstall-Smith while he toured in Germany with the Hamburg Blues Band.

R.I.P JON HISEMAN (21 giugno 1944 - 12 giugno 2018)
Such subtlety. The more you listen the more you hear.
I was there - one of the greatest, most passionate shows I ever saw! Thank you for the memories...
Brilliant band, extraordinary musicians - and a fantastic video with great camera work and sound. Thanks a lot for sharing, Thierry!
Thank you for the nice recording 😊
I love how Chris is always inserting cities into the song he is playing at.
Jon Hiseman eternally with me!

Indestructible - and powerful.

Great performance! One of the best since 1971 - including Eleonore Rigby! What a great band!

Phantastisch! Immer noch!!!! 🤩 Soll noch mal Einer sagen! >> Ol' men can't make no music! They're the BEST! Die gleiche Power wie früher!!!!!!!!!
Sehe ich genauso 👍
My god what a band
Improvising so well at that age - remarkable.
Love the band. Reminds me of the best time of my life, the 70’s.
Superb!
What a great Performance gentleman💪👍
Clem is one of those few "spine" players.....it's like he's playing with my spine nerve. God he can play.
Mainz 2.11.2014
+Heiko Ziegler
Das sehe ich genauso!!!
My first lp and I still love it.

All time favourites!!!

Alles klar, danke!
Kein Ding. Ich bin zu 100 % Deiner Meinung.
Bei mir läuft es ohne Werbung.

C.F.'s vocals are better than ever in this live show.
the riff tribute to Cream- at the end...very powerful...
fantastico. lost angeles unico. senza parole
E così nacque l'amore fra me e il mio ex marito.
Good morning my Friends. This band is a Collosus
Old but good

I would sell my soul to see the whole show. Does anybody know if this concert was released on DVD or Bluray? Or in any way, shape or form?!

Nothing bad happened before. Chris Farlowe looks offended, but it's all stage-play.
