- Lost Angeles | Colosseum Live | Rockpalast 1994

Colosseum live, one of the best live-albums ever!!
One of the best Bands ever, wonderful
Clem Clempson and Chris Farlowe were absolute beasts, plus Jon Hiseman, Dick Hextall Smith, Dave Greenslade, all masters that shall never be forgotten.
Dont forget Mark Clarke.
nobody will ever forget this band surely, thanks to Colosseum
Chris Farlowe still is with an amazing following.
Live LP very good here not same Remember other Guitar more hot
Indeed.❤❤❤
My god what a band... all members are master musicians
One of the greatest- worldwide.
I've been hearing "Lost Angeles" ever since I was about 14, and it never ceases to amaze me.
One of the most brilliant pieces of music ever written and performed !!
Absolutely true.
Colosseum was my very first concert I was able to attend.... 1971! Still one of the greatest live albums ever!
For me one of the best concerts of all time... love it for such a long time. Still magical, legends.
...yes I agree, love it over 50 years now, greetings from Germany
Agree!
Gives me goosebumps every time I hear this song. One of my favourite bands and songs ever! Saw them live in 1969 at the Hollywood Festival. Phenomenal Chris Farlowe, Jon Hiseman, Clem Clempson, Mark Clark, Dick Heckstall-Smith and Dave Greenslade!
Such great music, i love it, more than 45 years. Collusseum Live, a great album. And the voice of Chris Farlowe is incredible, i love it also at Atomic Rooster.
Musik für die Ewigkeit!
For me, this was the start of the era of Lost Angeles 3.0. They played it before Chris Farlowe joined the band, back then without the middle section ("here am I, alone in this city"). The live version from 1971 was L.A. 2.0. With the reunion in 1994, the song became slower, but no less exiting. And that's how they're still playing it in 2023, unbelievable. Truly the band of my life, with all its line-ups and members, that's why I also mention Barbara Thompson on sax and flute, Tony Reeves on the bass and James 'Butty' Litherland (g, voc).
Best of the best!
I am a huge fan, and have always been since I bought their livealbum back in the heydays.. One of the best band and musicians of all time. Awesome
Wundervolle Erinnerungen an Colosseum. Danke!
Immer wieder...sensationall👍
To jest taka faza, że ciężko wytrzymać. To jest największe mistrzostwo świata! Wokal to kosmos!
Und Chris singt immer noch 2o23 sensationell Thank. You
'Mouth still hanging wide open and lost for words! What a team!
The Voice the Band what more could you ask for.

Klasse!
Buenísimo
Although this is good, you should check out the 1971 Live version from Manchester University with Clem Clempson on guitar. The 1971 version eats this one for breakfast!
Well, Clem is on this 1994 version too, though.
Do you mean the version on Colosseum Live?
@@elsab2710
Yes, "Colloseum Live" version of this does indeed eat it for breakfast.. fact.
Leaving Los Angeles was the best decision I have ever made, should of got out 45 years ago.
The truth that I bring and the words that I sing are all meant for you
Trees, they are full, the minds, they are bare and this time I care
Everyone has a car but they won't travel far
Well nobody here has the sunshine that I still have
Sad sad town, sad sad town in the buzzing desert
Shanty town, shanty town, shanty town of the millionaire
A man will awaken one morning, alone on the tall brown grass
A millionaire alone in the burning desert
Sad sad town, sad sad town in the buzzing desert
Shanty town, shanty town, shanty town of the millionaire
A man will awaken one morning, alone on the tall brown grass
There's a millionaire alone in the burning desert
Here am I alone in this city
Ain't that a pity
I just want to leave
And get away from Lost Angeles
Earthquakes and smog
Are driving me out of town
I don't want to be here
I don't want to be around
Take me away if you please
I do not want to live in Lost Angeles
I don't want to live here
Just want to get back home
I don't want to be here any more
I want to be on my own
Take me away if you please
Get me away from Lost Angeles
So geil
Obergeil
great piece of fusion-rock: heavy plus jazz... and the development over the long intro: like "Bolero" .. followed up by diverse variations and combinations with so many "ritardani" (receptions..) still a master masterpiece. and one the only music pieces where I like the American grooming in the lead singers voice;-)
In my youth, you had two choices in music what was in the charts or bands like these. But boy we were spoilt for choices
COLOSSEUM GENIUSZ GENIUSZ GENIUSZ nad GENIUSZAMI KOSMOS KOCHANI na zawsze dziękuję BARDZO i MIŁOŚĆ ☮️ POKÓJ MUZYKA tak
I wonder if I ever get tired listening to this song
You will never get tired, for sure
Did the singer used to be with Atomic Rooster?
Yes, he did.
Colosseum Live was my first introduction to them played Lost Angeles in my house and got real claustrophobic felt like I was stuck on the cloverleaf in the heaviest traffic imagineable in 100 degree swelter!!!! 🥵
🖤🖤🖤
✌️👋
The solo from Clemmie on "Collosseum live" album is much more impressive!! Listen to that one!!!
Brawo !
Temazo la ctm
Chris Farlowe, an inspired choice. Transformed the band
Quanto ci manchi John
Woderful
Wonderful i mean
6:38 god
My first big live concert ....hall was stormed after one door opened,.1972/3
Lost my camera and almost life, police could not do anything any more
Baby, baby, we're out of time
People seem to leave Colosseum only by death. Why did Greenslade go? He is still alive.
Sooogeil, ich faß es nicht.
Most ppl do not understand what this song means
6:24
Oh yeah, the man and his band is overgood
Wuff
sorry was a mistake!

Mr. Clapton was not around
This is blues, white blues, what's the different to black blues, blues is blues
