Hi Souradeep, you can use half tablet for half load. But using little detergent would be more economical. In any case I've shown using half tablet in one of my earlier videos. Please watch the video and also read the description below the video. I'm sharing the link of the video below: ua-cam.com/video/q_3AW0IFDP8/v-deo.html Thank you.
@@BhuvanaAdi I don't understand how using half the detergent will work. Even if the load is one-half, I think dishwashers will still need the same amount of detergent. This is so because it is not scrubbing plates one by one, rather it is just splashing water over the plates. The number of plates doesn't matter to it. Right ? It needs a particular concentration of detergent, rinse aid and salt in the water being splashed.
Thanks a lot Ma'am. This was perfect. Learnt loading much better than I was doing it. For me the cleaning is similar as well - some sticky things like dried rice starch is left behind in small quantities even in intensive cycle. Steel and glass wash well otherwise. I use IFB detergent. Look forward to more videos. I somehow feel the mini and eco are not as effective - will wait for your videos to understand what best to wash using those programmes.
Thanks a lot for your appreciation. Happy that you got to learn better loading from this video. I'll try to post more videos soon using different program cycles and detergents. If you haven't tried anything other than IFB, you can may be try other brands of detergent to find out their effectiveness.
Thanks mam. Yeah I watched all Ur dishwasher videos mam.. If we use 2 times per day, there wont be any issue in lifespan mam? Sorry for silly question. . Bcos am in delimma to buy tabletop or bosch 12 plate big. We are just 3 members family
12 place setting is comfortable any day. I have had my Bosch 12 place setting for the past 12 years, which I use regularly. I had a repair in my Bosch machine after 8 ½ years, during Covid and the repair took some time at which time I bought this table top Beko dishwasher. Now I use both of them depending on my dish load. The life span of the machine will not reduce by operating it twice a day. I am sure you must be doing it with your washing machine. I wash multiple loads of clothes in my washing machine in a day(2-3 times), and it has been working fine for the past 15 years. You have to decide between the two based on your budget, space available, convenience etc.
This is the best demo of 8 place dishwasher. Thanks for the demo/review. I am thinking of buying it but was not sure if should buy 8 place or bigger model your video helped me.
I bought this through Amazon, first day I washed in mini 30 minutes wash, nothing washed, came out with dirt, water drops only. Then from third wash it washed awesome for 5 rounds in 3 days, 5 th round it left the tablet washed with out using. 6 th round showed error e3, water leaking. When power went inbetween the cycle it starts from first for the previous runs. Contacted Amazon for replacement, they asked for the procedure to get job sheet, I submitted now waiting for replacement. Don't know whether the new piece will be good? I bought only 8 days back.
Madam, I have been regularly watching all your dish washer videos. But, still hasn't purchased. I have got to know that the rinse aid has toxic chemicals which enter our food through dishes. In search of natural hard water stains remover, found some brands having citric acid as the key ingredient along with essential oil. Wanted your opinion on this. Also, please let me know if we have to get the water TDS tested before buying a dishwasher. Thanks .
Hi Padmapriya, Rinse aid is not directly addressing hardness, it only helps in better drying and giving shine to utensils after wash. It is not mandatory to use rinse aid you can choose not to use it. Lots of users choose not to use rinse aid due to apprehensions. I have been using rinse aid in my dishwasher but as a habit I wash the dishes under the tap just before I use them. This I do for hand washed as well as dishwashed utensils. Yes please get the water hardness tested (preferably in a food/water testing lab) before buying a dishwasher. TDS will give some indication but is not a measure of water hardness. Please watch the following videos. I am sure you will find them useful - ua-cam.com/video/-jHUQwX82l4/v-deo.html Water Hardness | Salt & Rinse Aid setting explained | BOSCH Dishwasher ua-cam.com/video/fthMXjvSD_0/v-deo.html CHECKLIST BEFORE BUYING A DISHWASHER - 5 important things Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thanks a lot Madam for the clarification. Will first get water tested. Will watch your suggested videos again and let you know for any further queries. I pefer to buy Bosch one. Thanks again.
@@user-pz6et7bi5w Hi, I am from Bengaluru. To get to know the accurate TDS, we have to get it tested at a nearby water testing lab. Better not to use online TDS meters as they are unreliable. Thanks.
@@abhishekchauhan1203 hi, sorry missed replying this query. I'm just using the table top version of Voltas Beko for the last two months. This is more suitable for a family of 2/3 people. Features and cleaning wise it's good. Beko also has regular size models which many people are buying and are happy with the performance. But I'm using my Bosch dishwasher since almost 9 years now. This is a regular size 12 place setting model. But personally with my experience my choice would be Bosch anytime.
Try Fairy original or Fairy platinum dishwasher capsules and you will be surprised with results! 🙂 Fairy gives incredible washing for steel, glass and ceramic dishes. And you will can to compare Finish Quantum and Fairy efficiency.
Hi Bhuvana, Thank you so much for the video and the minute details you have covered in this. Now you since you have been using this product for over an year now, are you satisfied with the day-to-day cleaning? Also did you faced any maintenance issue all this while? Did you observed any major surge in your electricity bill after using this product?
Thanks Ankit for your appreciation. Yes, it is little over a year since I started using this dishwasher. In this period I have not faced any maintenance issues or any problem cleaning-wise. I am satisfied with the cleaning results on a daily basis. Also I have not noticed any surge in electricity bill. In this dishwasher , the power consumption ranges anywhere between 0.5 units to 1.25 units per cycle. So if you use one cycle everyday with a mix of different cycles, with average of 1 unit per cycle, the monthly consumption is about 30 units. Even if you run more cycles on some days, the power consumption would be around 40 units. Assuming one unit rate to be ₹7, the electric bill for using the dishwasher daily or twice occasionally should not be more than ₹280. Hope this helps.
I have same dishwasher...first I used finish product ..I didn't get that good result...so I switched to fortune product..its good for Indian style cooking...no need to scrub any utensils...just soak in water...don't keep it when its dry.
Thanks for sharing your experience Sheetal .👍 I always say to my viewers, that one brand of detergent does not suit everyone. It is very much dependent on the quality of water.
Bhuvana, I bought this one last week. So far, I am happy with my choice. I wish the detergent was not this expensive. But still better than washing the dishes. Do you have any DIY recipes for the detergent powder ? Have you tried any ?
Actually while I agree that detergents could be less priced, if you work out the cost of detergent, power and other consumables against the cost of domestic help, it would still be economical. I had tried out and shared an alternative when detergents were not available during the lockdown last year. But I would not recommend that on a long term or permanent basis. It was just a temporary substitute that I shared. You can watch that video here - ua-cam.com/video/2y7hsjGpc68/v-deo.html Other than that, I have not tried any other alternative. Not all detergents are expensive, some like fortune are priced less and if you are satisfied with it, you could use it. Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thanks for the reply, Bhuvana. I doubt if I would've bought this dishwasher if I hadn't watched your videos. It's been two weeks, and I am fairly satisfied with my purchase. For now, we are using it only once a day because my parents are apprehensive about the power consumption.
Thanks a lot mam for taking time and explaining in detail. This video will be very helpful for those who wants to buy dishwasher for the first time. All topics covered and explained very well. Sometimes kadai gets burned ....mam will it remove the burn stains from kadai or milk vessel??? Mam electricity cost per month expected with the usage of this machine??? Hope this voltas beko machine is helpful !!!😊 Please do clear my doubts 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥺🥺🥺
If it is heavily burnt it may not remove fully but whatever remaining will be soft. Power depends on the number of cycles used per month and the cycle type used. I was placing my dishes really carefully and with much spaces left. Oaaa u use all the space n still all got cleaned. Im gonna put the next dishes more closer to one another.
Teara, It's just practice. Much depends on the right program selection, placement and the quantity and quality of detergent used based on your water hardness. Good luck.
Well explained videos. Countertop models are best suited due to the space & plumbing constraints. I enquired 3 dealers of Voltas-Beko in Vadodara(Gujarat) for this model(8 place) 4-5 days back but all dealers informed me that the company has discontinued this model. Not sure if Amazon is clearing the old stock. If so, then servicing or spare parts availability in future will be a concern. Madam, what was the manufacturing date of your dishwasher?
Hi Nitin, can you please write to my email bhuvanaadis@gmail.com, so that I can share the photo of the dishwasher carton from which it is clear that it was manufactured in Aug 2020.
@@BhuvanaAdi I trust you Madam when you say it is Aug 2020:) I had contacted dealers since I prefer buying these type of large appliances offline. Am wondering why these 3 dealers gave me that reply on this model which actually stalled my thought of booking this product...
@@nitinbopanna6793 since I cannot share photos on UA-cam I asked you to write to my email. Wonder why the dealers told like that. I will try to find out here in Hyderabad if possible.

@Nitin Bopanna @M I came to know that this table top model is being promoted only online and not through offline stores. If this true, this could be a reason for the response given by some offline dealers. Voltas Beko entry into Indian market is less than 2 years old. And the table top model is popular being bought by a lot of people. I am not sure why they would discontinue a popular model. I am trying to get confirmation on this from company or some reliable sources. Thanks.
It is still working fine after 3 ½ years. If budget and space is a constraint , you can go for this. Else you can go for a regular 12/13 place setting stand alone machine. This being an 8 place setting table top dishwasher, it can accommodate fewer vessels. This, much depends on your daily dish load. You may have to run two cycles per day if you are not able to accommodate all your dishes in a single load. Hope this helps.
Mam can u answer one qustn??? Can we use steel it's said if we use steel they become black?? Can we use tupperware. Thank u fr ur useful video really amazing.
Hi, steel can be safely washed in the dishwasher. Aluminium gets discoloured/blackened if washed in dishwasher. I've shown washing all steel utensils in my Bosch dishwasher. Please watch the video by clicking the link below : ua-cam.com/video/KLO6XJ0f12Q/v-deo.html Also I've uploaded 51 videos till date on dishwashers alone. You can check out the same in my channel. Yes Tupperware is safe to be washed in the dishwasher. Thank you.
Hi..i have a 14 place Voltas dishwasher. Can you pease guide regarding...why there is soap water in some vessels after the completion of wash cycle. Why vessels become totally white ..as if there is a white coating ?
Hi Rudhi, soapiness on vessels could be due to excess rinse aid or excess detergent. Generally white patches on dishes is due to hard water. Please adjust your salt and rinse aid setting based on your water hardness, if you've not done it yet. Also try using detergent based on the load and the degree of soiled utensils in the load. Hope this helps. Thank you.
Excellent video. Very informative. How much power will be consumed for Intense kadai mode? If I buy it, I might need to run it two times a day and the power consumption will be useful..
If.i run two cycles a day would v sufficient fr mebrs of 4 right..as I don't wish to have bulky dishwashers...M ready to.gjve slab space to this mini dishwasher.. I think.it.also depends how u arrange d utensils.
It depends on the load of your dishes based on your cooking. Also if you're 4 adults, I'm sure the load will be more and also there could be bigger vessels and cookers. Of course, you can run 2 or even 3 cycles per day and still use the table top dishwasher. Like I have replied to you in another of your query, it depends on individual choice, space availability, budget etc. You are right arranging dishes in a proper way is also important. Hope my answer helps you.
madam i want to know just one thing for the first time can i use tablet and one more thing when ever useing tablet then should i fill slat and rinset separetly or not please explain your procedure thanks
@SKD Gamer, You can use tablet without salt and rinse aid if your water is soft. Else you have to fill salt and rinse aid and adjust the settings according to water hardness. Watch my other videos of Voltas Beko dishwasher here - ua-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYr5zV7rtAy0sU2iPze_7o97.html Also watch my video - Tablet vs Detergent + Salt + Rinse Aid here - ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html Thanks.
Hi Manasi, it is now 3 ½ years since I am using this table top dishwasher. I have not faced any issues till date and it is working fine. Hence I have not had the need to call for service. Hope this helps. Thanks.
Very informative.. I am using the same model for a month now.. can u plz tell is it necessary to use salt and rinse aid because the demo technician told me to use tablets as they already have both .. plz advise
Hi Lovely Kaur, much depends on the water hardness. If you have very soft water like in Bombay, then it's ok not using salt when you're using tablet. Using rinse aid is individual choice, not compulsory. Again it will be helpful if water is hard. Tablets are good for long high temperature programs for highly soiled dishes. Else it will not be utilised fully. So in that case detergent will be better. So filling salt and keeping the setting at the lowest level is better even if you're using tablet for the durability of the machine, according to me.
Yes you can get your water sample tested from a food/water testing laboratory in your area; if it is borewell water that you're using. If it is municipal water you can find out from the corporation.
Hi mam i recently bought same voltas beko dishwasher in Bengaluru ours is hard water tds levels is above 1000 i kept ph levels 7 and i am using bosh products if i use powder detergent i am getting white spots even i am keeping in intensive mode if use bosh tablets i am not getting white patches on vessels iam using tablets also i have to use salt ed rinse because off hard water only intensive mode these are costly maintenance for me iam using bosh front load washing machine serie 6 i am using same bosh laundry detergent liquid i am getting good results now iam feeling bad why i choose voltas if i go dor bosh dishwasher i will get good results know
Hi, it is always a challenge to get good cleaning with such high TDS values. But if you are getting good cleaning with Bosch tablet then I would suggest using the same. Remember since the water hardness is high, consumption of salt and rinse aid will be high and this is something you have to get used to. But if you are going to use tablets continuously, then you could reduce the salt and rinse aid setting by one level. Please do not compare washing machine performance with a dishwasher as the effects of hard water are less visible in the clothes washing than in washing dishes. Need not worry about your choice of dishwasher as Beko is also a very popular international brand and gives good results once you learn to adapt to master how to use it. It is not that Bosch would have given better results. Everything depends on how well we are able to understand the behaviour of the water hardness and adjust to it. Thanks. Hope this answers your query.
Hi, please watch the video below and you can understand why using detergent is sufficient for getting good cleaning results: ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html Using detergent with salt and rinse aid with proper settings of both in your dishwasher will give you good cleaning. There is no need that you've to use tablets.
Hi Sowmya, though the Powerball tablet has both salt and rinse aid in it, much depends on your water quality. Please watch my video on "which is the best detergent or tablet", in which i have explained this in detail. ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html When the water is hard, rinse aid present in the tablet may not be enough for drying the utensils. In which case you can have the rinse aid filled in the compartment with the rinse aid level set at a lower level, again based on your water hardness. Please watch the video. In case of further doubts please write to me. Thank you.
Yes, I am still using this dishwasher. It is ideal for a small family of 2-3 persons as it is an 8 place setting machine. If there are more members and more utensils, you may have to run two cycles per day. Please watch my review and also other videos of this dishwasher to get a clear picture. Hi Revati, The title, description and the video timeline shows that I have used Finish Quantum Max tablet. I request you to watch the full video and also read the description. Thanks. BTW, I have not understood your last sentence. Can you clarify please?
Hi Sachin, Choice of brand is always an individual decision. LG is an excellent dishwasher with very advanced features. I have posted videos on all aspects of LG dishwasher in my channel. But remember many viewers have shared about absence of auto resume feature after power cut. I am not sure whether LG has rectified this. So if your place has lot of power cuts, you have to think before deciding on LG. I would definitely suggest Bosch based on my experience of using it for 10 years now. Besides there are other brands like Voltas Beko, IFB, Siemens, etc. But like I said, brand preference is one's individual decision. Thanks.
Hi mam I'm planning to buy this...my milk Pan has plastic handle is that okay to place inside??and my cooker is hard ionised (black) is that allowed to place ?ur reply is very important and valuable for me
Hi, as long as the plastic is heat resistant, it can be placed in the dishwasher. Anodised cooker and other anodised cookware, will lose their shine after a few washes. Hence it's not advisable to wash them in the dishwasher.
Mam what do you think how economical is dishwasher compared to using Vim Bars ? Please 🙏 reply... A vim bar cost 100 a month, how much is operation cost of it, if we just look at the economy putting aside the labour advantage.
Hi Kunzang, If you put aside the labour aspect and are doing the dishes yourself with a Vim bar, Vim bar is definitely more economical. But if you are using a domestic help, then the dishwasher is definitely more economical. Of course running cost is dependent on consumption of consumables which is largely dependent of the hardness of water. Even then, in most cases, dishwasher running cost is less than a domestic help expense. One factor is dishwasher is available at any time of day/night on any day, ie 24/7/365. The most important factor weighing in favour of dishwasher perhaps is the water saving, which no manual washing (self or domestic help) can achieve. Dishwasher consumes less than 1 bucket water per wash cycle. Water is the most precious resource today. Thanks.
Hi, I also have the same dishwasher, want to know the cooker that you are using (brand/Lsize), since you are able to keep it comfortably in top shelf itself! Our 3L cooker fits at bottom and takes lot of space.
Hello Bhuvana garu, I am planning to buy a dishwasher and have space constraints. The online reviews are pretty mixed. Since you have used it for a long time, would you still recommend Voltas tabletop or are there other options. Where can I buy it in Hyderabad?
Hi Vandana, sorry for the delayed reply. You can opt for a tabletop dishwasher if your family consists of 2-3 members. In case, the number of members are more, then you may have to run the machine more than once per day. Also, since you say you have space constraints, this tabletop would be ideal for you. I have been using this for more than one and half years now, and I am happy with it and I will definitely recommend it. Other than this you have the regular size dishwashers of Voltas Beko as well as various brands of 12,13, 14 place settings. There is an exclusive Voltas Beko outlet In Hyderabad where you can check out the products. Thank you.,
Hy maam!! How clean does the kadhai comes out in your dishwasher ? Is it best to keep it upside down or sideways for a better wash? The kadhai especially very soiled and super greasy doesnt comeout very clean..outside its shiney but inside its never squeaky clean..its clean but looks dull..the heavy oil stains which was visible before washing is never cleaned properly.there is always a thin line of dried grease around the kadhai or sometimes more even after wash so it has to be handwashed again..im using fortune detergent and my water is soft..which is the best detergent or tablet according to you for heavily soiled dishes ?
Hi Demi, From my experience, keeping all greasy utensils upside down gives best results. Try to choose intensive cycle for heavily greased utensils. Even then, oil stains from kadais used for frying are stubborn and will not get cleaned 100% but the stains will become soft and lighter. Tablets could give better results for such utensils. And a lot depends on the water quality. That thin line of grease if found, will have to be washed under running water with light scrubbing. Fortune is not suitable for soft water. Try Crystale tablets or Finish detergent for normal wash cycle and Finish tablets for heavy intensive cycle. I have posted lots of videos on different detergents in my channel. I am sure you have watched these. Else you could watch these. Just check out the detergent/tablets playlist of video in my channel. ua-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYpjbPPiogP2RIuDgCtx5Hg6.html Thanks. Do we need to add salt in salt container and also water along with it...it's mentioned in manual ..but I am not getting what to do...I don't have tablet right now... Please help me
Please watch my earlier videos in which I've shown how to fill salt and water for the very first time and also filling rinse aid. I've also how to adjust salt and rinse aid settings.
Electricity depends on the temperature of the cycle. Not all long programs consume high power. There are some short duration cycles which consume more power. Power consumption varies between 0.5 to 1.25 units. Intensive mode uses the maximum power i.e. 1.25 KW.
Hi, congrats on your new purchase. Which dishwasher have you bought? There will be a default setting of salt and rinse aid. In case you do not fill salt and rinse aid, the indicator light will be ON always. If you plan to use only tablets and not fill rinse aid and salt, assuming your water is very soft, then it is better you set both the salt and rinse aid levels to 0 or 1(i.e. lowest level)based on the model and brand,. The indicator will not remain ON then. Thanks.
Hi, that depends on the number of members in your family. Features wise, the regular dishwasher will have more features and functions than the table top one.
Hi. I have posted many videos showing different cycles. In these videos i have shown the loading in fairly good detail. Please check up the Voltas beko playlist in my channel. I am sure you will get what you need. In case you still feel please let me know I will do a detailed video on that. Thanks.
Mam i have the same dishwasher but mine doesn’t clean cooker and tea utensils properly. I use finish powder as detergent. Please let me know any specificity i am missing
Hi Charu, just check your salt and rinse aid setting, if it's adjusted based on your water hardness. Also try to choose the correct program based on degree of soiling of dishes. Place heavily soiled dishes in the lower rack and at places where the spray arm has more nozzles thus spraying more water. I think if you follow all this, you should get good cleaning of cooker and tea utensils also. Thanks.
Hi, Electric bill depends on 1. Number of times you use the machine in a day. 2. The program cycle you would use regularly..(each has a different wash & rinse temperature and duration, hence different power consumption). 3. Additional options chosen along with the main program, like steam etc., which is there in some models. In this dishwasher , the power consumption ranges anywhere between 0.5 units to 1.25 units per cycle. So if you use once cycle everyday with a mix of different cycles, with average of 1 unit per cycle, the monthly consumption is about 30 units. Even if you run more cycles on some days, the power consumption would be around 40 units. Hope this helps.
Mam its a made in China product so did u face any issues like bosch are made in germany but this is made in china product so i have some doubts regarding the longevity of the product..can please anyone comment
Nowadays most brands are made in China, if not the full machine, some parts are definitely made in China. You cannot help it. Longevity of any machine depends not only on the brand and where it is made but also on your quality of water. Machines like dishwashers and washing machines have longer durability in soft water as compared to hard water. Thanks.
Hi Sapna, whenever you're using tablets, you can reduce the salt and rinse aid setting levels of they are set at high levels. If you've soft water, you can even keep salt and rinse aid at 0 or 1.
I also bought the Voltas Beko 8 place dishwasher. I am using Finish products. 1. How much detergent to use? I pour the powder from the bottle by judgement. 2. When to use detergent in pre-wash? Is it recommended at all? 3. I scrub the vessels before putting them in the dishwasher. Will it hamper the cleaning ability of the detergent? 4. I see some detergent left back in the compartment in few runs. I tried to clean the compartment dry but I do get it sometimes. Am I using too much of detergent? Any recommendations? 5. If the vessels are scrub clean, shall I use the 'mini' cycle as there is hardly any leftover. 6. I have set the hardness and rinse level to 1 as I have soft water at my place. Shall I try changing it to test the cleaning capability with more soiled load?

Regular salt is not suitable for dishwasher. You need pure salt without any iodine or anti caking agent which in found in regular/table salt. So, you've to use only dishwasher salt which is pure sodium chloride.
Nice video ma'am ,planning to buy this voltas dishwasher, my family is 3 adults and a kid , will 8 places this is good enough or we shall go for 12 places .I am a first time dishwasher buyer.TIA .
Hi, it depends on everyday load of dishes. If you have a less load, this should be sufficient. If you dish load throughout the day is more, at the most you have to run two cycles per day in this table top model. If budget or space is not a constraint, you can go for a 12 place free standing dishwasher of brands like Bosch, Voltas Beko,. IFB etc.
Assuming you will run one cycle everyday, your electricity consumption per month would be around 30 to 45 units. That should be about ₹ 200 to ₹ 350 based on power cost. Please watch my FAQ videos where I have explained this and other things in detail. ua-cam.com/video/kC5EMmYnxXQ/v-deo.html FAQ Part 1 ua-cam.com/video/B26QpnIkv8k/v-deo.html FAQ Part 2 Regarding, salt detergent rinse aid, these depend on the water hardness in your area. If the water is soft, consumption would be less and if the water is hard, it would be more. It also depends on the brand that you choose and what suits your water. Minimum cost of these could be ₹ 300 to 400 and maximum ₹ 600 to 700. This is just a rough indication. Washing aluminium in a dishwasher is not recommended by any manufacturer, as it gets blackened. But I've been doing this since 9½ years in my Bosch dishwasher in the low temperature cycle and the aluminium cookware are still the same. Watch my video on this here: ua-cam.com/video/kxKvLCLmNuc/v-deo.html Thanks.

@padma padma Sorry I seem to have missed your comment. Try cleaning the drain filters. If the filters are clogged, that could also give an unpleasant smell. And as a habit, please keep the door fully open for an hour or two till the machine inside becomes fully dry. If the machine inside has moisture and the door is kept fully closed for a long time, this could also give out some odour. Hope the drain pipe routing has been done correctly at the time of installation. This is explained in the user manual. Hope this helps. Thanks.
Hi Vishaka, The power consumption for each program is different. It is based on the time duration and temperature of the program. The lowest is 0.52 units and the highest is 1.25 units. So even if you use everyday, your monthly power consumption will be around 30 to 40 units. Regarding details of service centres at different cities and towns, I would request you to look in their website or call their customer care or toll free number. Thanks.
Hi Avneesh, that depends on your water hardness. To a certain level of hardness you need not use salt and rinse aid. But if your water is very hard, the salt and rinse aid in the tablet will not be enough to give good cleaning and drying, in which case you've to fill salt and rinse aid in the respective compartments and adjust the settings based on your water hardness. If you're going to use tablets permanently, you can keep the settings to the minimum level. It's always better to have salt and rinse aid to protect the machine in the long run, that too if you have hard water. For places like Bombay, where the water is too soft it is better to use very little detergent with a low setting of salt and rinse aid to get good cleaning, rather than tablets.
Hi, ideally you should go for a 12 or 13 place setting, normal size dishwasher; for a family of four. You get various brands and models, you could choose one to suit your budget. Thanks.
Generally manufacturers do not recommend washing aluminium cookware in the dishwasher as they tend to get tarnished or blackened. But I've tried washing them in the lowest temperature cycles, i.e upto 50 deg C without any damage to the cookware. But much depends on the water hardeness. If you water is hard, you can try it out a couple of times, check the results and then make a decision about continuing washing the aluminium in your dishwasher. But in the long run it would be ideal to switch over to stainless steel cookware - cookers, kadais, pans etc. which can be safely washed in the dishwasher. I've totally shifted to steel revert since i started using a dishwasher. I just very few aluminium cookware which i use occasionally. Hope this helps. You can watch my video on washing aluminium in my Bosch dishwasher by clicking the link below: ua-cam.com/video/kxKvLCLmNuc/v-deo.html Thanks.
How much it cost for salt detergent and all the things and electricity consumption? How much our bills for the gonna increase? I am also planning to buy voltas beko 14 plate, suffered from maids😂
Thanks.
Swati, while computing the cost, you also have to subtract the expenses saved. The cost is essentially something like this :- Cost of dishwasher detergent + Cost of rinse aid + Cost of salt (only if the water is hard at your place) - Cost of normal dish wash liquid saved - Cost of water saved. Then, account for the time and effort saved as well.
Thank you for your suggestion. Just saw that they have an 8 place setting as well as a 14 place setting dishwasher. I will surely do a demo if I get an opportunity.
I was told by the sales woman to avoid copper vessels. Also the installation person said the cutlery trays should always be in the dishwasher even if there is no cutlery..
Hi Susan, generally no manufacturer recommends washing of metals like copper, brass, silver, etc. and even aluminium in the dishwasher as they tend to get tarnished or blackened. But there is nothing wrong in washing them occasionally in low temperature cycles. This is what I have been doing since 9 years and all my cookware are safe. It's up to you to try out if you want and decide based on that. About placing cutlery trays always in the machine, I wouldn't say it is wrong. There being huge gaps in the upper rack, there is a fear of small items falling down if placed directly on the rack without the cutlery tray (in case you are not placing any ladies & spoons). I don't see any other reason behind it. Hope this clarifies your doubts if any on the above matters.
@@BhuvanaAdi Hi Bhuvana, is it necessary to clean the filter after every program? Also, when I open the filter once the program has ended,, I see a bit of water collected underneath..Is that normal?
Hi Susan, you need to clean the filter once in a week or 10 days or based on your usage and how frequently the filter gets clogged, which you will come to know only after cleaning a few times. The water you see in the drain hole is quite normal, it will be there always.
No. A tablet is a 3-in-1 combo of detergent, salt, and rinse aid. Also note that salt is needed only if your water is hard. If you have soft water at your place, you need not buy the tablet. You can go for detergent powder + rinse aid.
You can use detergent also and get good cleaning results. I'm using Finish detergent with salt and rinse aid regularly and my dishes are still clean. I've tried IFB detergent in Bosch, but not in Voltas Beko. You can try Fortune detergent. Try one or two detergent brands and whichever brand gives you better cleaning, you stick to it. Only thing is you have to set the salt and rinse aid levels based on your water hardness. I've shown how to adjust this in one of my video. Watch it by clicking the link below:ua-cam.com/video/TKO8kdDHeLw/v-deo.html
Hi Padma, Sorry for the delayed reply. Midea, Faber, Hafele, Kaff, Hindware also make dishwashers. But you have to remember that dishwasher is not among the flagship products for the above companies. This does not mean that they are not good. You will see from reviews that a lot of people are using these brands and are happy. Dishwasher construction and technology is the same in all machines and these brands are also reputed. If you have good soft water, any dishwasher will do a good job. But I do believe that for some big companies like Bosch, Beko, etc, dishwasher is among their main products so they spend more on R&D. You could choose one based on your preference, budget. Just check the service levels in your city and the long term commitment of the company for dishwashers. If they suddenly decide to stop dishwashers from their product range, then you could have difficulty in getting service/spares, if and when needed. It is not recommended to wash non stick kadais or pans in a dishwasher. Thanks.

Hi .. i recently bought dishwasher.. water in my home has hardness of 560ppm.. is it necessary for me to add salt and rinse aid while using all in one tablets like finish?
Congrats on your new dishwasher! Btw which brand and model did you buy? Yes for your hardness(if it's the right figure), you will need salt and rinse aid even if you use Finish tablets. You can utmost reduce the setting by a level or two, than what you would have set while using detergent, salt and rinse aid. You may need to do trial and error to arrive at the correct level of salt and rinse aid settings, for the desired good cleaning results. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

No you heard it right. Except a few, most programs in all dishwashers have long program cycles with long duration to give best cleaning results for different types of dishes with different levels of soiling.
Hi ruba khazy, electric consumption is based on various factors. Different programs use different temperatures for washing, rinsing and drying. Electric consumption in this dishwasher ranges from 0.52 to 1.25 units per cycle depending on which cycle you've used. On an average if you take it as 1 unit/cycle and if you run one cycle/day, your power consumption for dishwasher will be 30 units for a month. Thanks.
Hey bhuvana can u please help? I hv recently purchased a Siemens dishwasher. The rinse aid level is 4. Rinseaid runs only for 12 days. Whereas my other friends say their rinse aid runs for nearly 20 days. I used to use detergent and rinse aid but felt many times that bit of rinseaid was found on vessels. Now i am using bosch tablet and haven't filled rinse aid. But what is an ideal level of rinse aid with detergent and with tablet? Can i avoid using it? I m still left with some stock of rinse aid. Pls advice. After seeing your videos on dishwashers i decided to go for one. Thank you
Hi Mona, thanks. It all depends on the hardness of water at your place. How did you fix the rinse aid level as 4? Setting at 4 means more consumption, hence it will get over very soon. Since you are getting rinse aid on utensils, you can reduce the rinse aid level. You could set it at 2 and observe for some days. If you are using tablet always, then you can set it one level lower, ie 1. After some days, depending on drying performance, you can readjust the level. Consumption depends on the settings. Lower the setting, more the days it will last. Setting level is decided on water type. You can avoid using rinse aid if you don't want to. In that case, you will not get shine and also drying may be less. Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi thank you so much. I am recently using my leftover tablets so havent refilled the rinseaid. But wen i use detergent again i will set the level to 1 or 2 as advised by you. Once again thank you so much.

Thanks .
Could you please reply to my question Madam.
I am sure you will find them useful -

Hi Bhuvana,
Thank you so much for the video and the minute details you have covered in this.

I always say to my viewers, that one brand of detergent does not suit everyone.
You can watch that video here - ua-cam.com/video/2y7hsjGpc68/v-deo.html
Other than that, I have not tried any other alternative.

Yes it can wash aluminum, but generally it is not recommended by the manufacturers as it will blacken at high temperatures.
Is it still working fine?Any complaints in 3 years and experience with the after sales will be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Manasi, it is now 3 ½ years since I am using this table top dishwasher. I have not faced any issues till date and it is working fine. Hence I have not had the need to call for service.

Useful video.. I'm also planning to purchase this...will it be ok for family of 3 ..
Yes very much Sapna.
@@BhuvanaAdi I don’t know how hard is Delhi water .. is there any way by which I can analyse this
Yes you can get your water sample tested from a food/water testing laboratory in your area; if it is borewell water that you're using.

Is is mandatory to use tablet or detergent
Hi, please watch the video below and you can understand why using detergent is sufficient for getting good cleaning results:

Using detergent with salt and rinse aid with proper settings of both in your dishwasher will give you good cleaning.
There is no need that you've to use tablets.
Hello ma'am
Wanted to ask that with the powerball I only need to add salt in the salt compartment and nothing else right
Hi Sowmya, though the Powerball tablet has both salt and rinse aid in it, much depends on your water quality.
Please watch my video on "which is the best detergent or tablet", in which i have explained this in detail.
ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html
When the water is hard, rinse aid present in the tablet may not be enough for drying the utensils. In which case you can have the rinse aid filled in the compartment with the rinse aid level set at a lower level, again based on your water hardness.
Please watch the video. In case of further doubts please write to me.
Thank you.

Mam should i go for LG dishwasher. Or any other u want to suggest
@@BhuvanaAdi thank you so much 🙏
Mam what do you think how economical is dishwasher compared to using Vim Bars ?
Thanks.
Monthly cost of detergent, salt rinse aid is around 600/- for using twice a day.
Nice video . Can I put nonstick vessels along with others
It's better to avoid non stick cookware as the coating will wear off soon.

Sorry for such a delayed reply. Please give me a day. I'll get back, with a detailed reply as I'm busy today.
Thanks.
Ok maam thankyou
Hi Demi, From my experience, keeping all greasy utensils upside down gives best results.
Try to choose intensive cycle for heavily greased utensils.
Even then, oil stains from kadais used for frying are stubborn and will not get cleaned 100% but the stains will become soft and lighter. Tablets could give better results for such utensils. And a lot depends on the water quality. That thin line of grease if found, will have to be washed under running water with light scrubbing.
Fortune is not suitable for soft water. Try Crystale tablets or Finish
detergent for normal wash cycle and Finish tablets for heavy intensive cycle.
I have posted lots of videos on different detergents in my channel. I am sure you have watched these. Else you could watch these. Just check out the detergent/tablets playlist of video in my channel.

No. You do not get anything. You have to be prepared with the consumables.
2.5 hours is a lot of time. What is the electricity consumption?
Electricity depends on the temperature of the cycle. Not all long programs consume high power. There are some short duration cycles which consume more power.
Power consumption varies between 0.5 to 1.25 units.
Intensive mode uses the maximum power i.e. 1.25 KW.
Aluminium cooker can be used ah
Hi Madam, we have bought new dishwasher and using all in one tablet but the salt and detergent indication is on. Is it normal?
Hi, congrats on your new purchase. Which dishwasher have you bought?
There will be a default setting of salt and rinse aid. In case you do not fill salt and rinse aid, the indicator light will be ON always. If you plan to use only tablets and not fill rinse aid and salt, assuming your water is very soft, then it is better you set both the salt and rinse aid levels to 0 or 1(i.e. lowest level)based on the model and brand,. The indicator will not remain ON then.

Thanks.
What's the monthly electricity bill might come for this daily operational purpose madam??? From Siliguri, WB
Hi, Electric bill depends on
Thanks.
Nicely discribed by you. Thnx
Thank you.
Mam, if salt and rinse aid is already filled, can we use these tablets??

IFB etc.

Is Voltas beko 8 placedish washer suitable for family of four members? Please reply
It will not be suitable for a family with 4 adults. In which case you may have to run the machine more than once or twice depending on your dish load.
Can you pls confirm, if we are using the tablet in place of detergent we don’t need salt and rinse aid as the tablet is 3 in 1?

Can we wash aluminium cookware in this dishwasher?

Swati, while computing the cost, you also have to subtract the expenses saved. The cost is essentially something like this :-
Cost of dishwasher detergent + Cost of rinse aid + Cost of salt (only if the water is hard at your place) - Cost of normal dish wash liquid saved - Cost of water saved. Then, account for the time and effort saved as well.

Hi Usha Sri, please watch my latest video on this: ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html
All your doubts will be cleared.
No. A tablet is a 3-in-1 combo of detergent, salt, and rinse aid. Also note that salt is needed only if your water is hard. If you have soft water at your place, you need not buy the tablet. You can go for detergent powder + rinse aid.
So mam we need to use tablet only ...this wont be the result if we use ifb detergent

Hi mam,pls give it suggestion about midea or faber brand..also can we put non stick pans or kadais??
Thanks.

You may need to do trial and error to arrive at the correct level of salt and rinse aid settings, for the desired good cleaning results.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.
Thank you.. i bought amstrad 148, 14 place setting dishwasher.. hardness level set to medium .. i run first wash today using arnigo tablet , finish rinse and salt. Result was v gud :)
Did you say 2 hrs and 40 mins for the intense cycle??? Or am I mistaken
No you heard it right. Except a few, most programs in all dishwashers have long program cycles with long duration to give best cleaning results for different types of dishes with different levels of soiling.
Does it use a lot of electricity ?
@@monatp in case your water is very soft and you're using tablets, you can set the rinse aid and salt level to very minimum or even to 0.
Btw do you live in Mumbai?
@@BhuvanaAdi ok dear. Thanks once again.
What is the max plate size we can place ? Please mention
Maximum plate size possible is 30 cm diameter. But this can be kept only on the sides of the bottom rack. Not on the centre. And maximum 2 plates. Thanks.
Very useful video mam..superb.Thanks a lot.👍👍
Welcome 😊
Hi mam, some queries from my side.I purchased the same product, but, the problem is white patches.Remedy please
Please set the salt setting based on your water hardness.
White patches is because of hard water.
Do we need to use rinse aid with this tables?
Hi, you can use it in case your water is very hard.
