Super cool. I’ve always had this idea to do a series of paintings that tell a story when looked at together. Watching this makes me want to finally get my act together and do it. 😊
Exactly! I can’t help but to connect them in some way. They all live in the same world, if not in the same story line together. What are you waiting for! ❤️😊👍
Those babies can snore as loud as they want ❤ i'll have to admit....i did not see the vision for a while and was confused about what was going on on that cover there. But the finished product looks so good!
Excellent work! I loved watching all the layers be added. I usually paint abstract on my covers for some reason. I don't do abstract any other time. That sketchbook looks nice I might check it out. Let us know how the cover holds up over time!
I have several of these and i've worked inside them but not painted the covers yet for fear of messing up. I think it's time! Also maybe you can put the pallet in a plastic zip bag and put it in the fridge to keep it from drying.
Awww ur doggies are georgeous ❤ and love how the cover turned out, it has so much dimension to it. Great job Heather 😊 another great video with awsome art ❤❤ xxx
Thanks for sharing all the supplies, that was great. Dogs 🥰. I've never used acrylic inks, is that the same as high flow acrylics? What an interesting process. That was cool how you worked out the perspective. I enjoyed watching it, and the voiceover was so great. The characters are all so cute. 😊 Yay for freestyling and creepy cute. (Take some photos before the topcoat if you're worried!)
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! I think they are different from high flow acrylic. I have never used high flow acrylics, but I think acrylic inks would be thinner and flow even more. ❤️😊👍
I spray workable fixative on my water soluble mediums first, THEN go over with the sealer. Pro: prevents lift. Con:suuuuuper smelly - but the smell disappears when it’s dry. 🤘
Thanks for the tip! I have a workable fixative spray, but I’ve never used it. I always worry about the smell staying with whatever I spray it on. I need to try it out for sure! ❤️😊👍
16:10 OMG I've been doing Birbfest and I adore April (monkey mintaka). Her work is so free and creative, I can't even begin to have that level of intuitive fun in my art
I would definitely do another coat of matte medium, just let everything dry for a day or 2 first then you should be good. Also that coat should shift anything from below the first layer of matte medium 😊
I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this video! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you so much! ❤️🥰👍
Definitely focused this time. Thank you for sharing!!!
You’re very welcome! ❤️😊👍

It’s time! You can always paint over it if you don’t like it. The plastic bag is a good idea too! Thanks! ❤️😊👍
I love what you did on this cover!! 💞 Very unique and your style!! 🤗😍 The gold paint was a great choice!! 👍
Thanks! I’m so glad you liked it! ❤️😊👍

She’s so funny! I always seem to find out about monthly challenges in the middle of the month. 🫠

Thanks for the advice! ❤️😊👍
Use a pipette to suck up the ink to put back in the ink containers
That’s a great idea! Thank you! ❤️😊👍
