I've never played a game where the soundtrack fit so well, not to the aesthetic of the game or general tone (which is most soundtracks) but it amplifies and magnifies the moment to moment combat and the ebb and flow of the player experience itself. It is, quite simply, a gameplay master stroke

by the time 7:15 rolls around, I did not expect the change in tempo.
That’s because it’s actually from a different level. The name of the song is doom hunted and it’s probably the most underrated song from new doom. It only plays during the train fight at the beginning of doom hunter base.
It also plays through out the whole level exept for the doom hunter boss fight.
